It was close to the water park we wanted to visit.
The beds were advertised as queen size, but were double bed sized. One of the managers told me I was wrong about a toilet leak, despite the puddle of water on the floor directly under the toilet. She initially refused to move use to a new room. Then, she denied there was a problem with the internet, until another staff fixed the problem and informed me. Overall, the rooms were in poor repair.
The whole place looks like it could just fall apart, really I feel if a building inspecter inspected this place they would not allow anyone to stay here.we paid for 2 nites and left a day early,we had to go to wallgreens and buy bug spray to kill all the gnats and flies in the front window, and a can of disinfectant.save your money you would be more comfortable staying in your car and safer.
We went to DMB at gorge..booked this room for a place to crash but couldn't check in late. They said they'd be closed so we had to drive 1.5 hours out of way just to check in...wanted to just show up after concert to sleep....
Could park next to my door.
Pool empty & in disrepair but no discount to compensate for the loss of the pool my kids were looking forward to swimming in. Room was dirty & in need of better maintenance. It seemed the owners were simply trying to milk all the revenue they could from the property before the facilities deteriorated beyond repair. The pool is the best example. It was an eyesore in front of the office yet there was no sign of anyone working on it. I will try to avoid staying here again.
arrived with 1/2 roll t.paper in our room, stay was 2 nights no one ever came to check on us or clean or room. gloomy and not kept up. pool was empty and disgusting looking, at lease fill with dirt and make a flower bed!! room had not been cleaned or vacuumed before we arrived. power strips with stuff plugged in all over place-danger to people with young kids!! no cups for water for brushing teeth. I could go on but why.......
It was a place to crash for the night. Nothing special but nothing horrendous. I wouldn't say it's a family place to stay, but if you need a bed and a shower this place will work out just fine. The woman at the front desk was actually quite pleasant despite maybe a little language barrier.
No refunds before check-in so book at your own risk. Also, the pool isn't filled so don't expect any water fun during your stay.
Free WiFi, good range of channels on cable
Upon having loud upstairs neighbors the first night (and it seemed like the ceiling was paper thin), we went to management the next day and asked to be moved but were told that they had checked out that morning. When we returned to our room that same evening, the same people and their dog were still above us. Management had lied to us for their own convenience, forsaking our comfort.
No Coffee in the room
Not much to like there but it wasn't as terrible as the other reviews suggested. It was ok clean and the staff was nice to me.
Pretty sketchy place on a Saturday night, I was afraid to be there. Towels were dirty. Good thing I had my own.
Location is near highway, easy to find
Dirty, gloomy, drab, run down, old, rooms. The front deskt staff called at 8:30 A.M. to ask when I was leaving...even though check-out was 11:00 A.M. Internet is there.. It was hard to get it working. Don't stay here the owner does not invest in the property.
The only reason we stayed at this hotel was because we were driving thru and all the other hotels were booked. The night before we had stayed at the Best Wesern in Caldwell, ID and it was a lovely, friendly hotel with a pool FOR THE SAME PRICE. The Imperial motel was shoddy, with an empty decaying pool, mismatched mattresses, minimum towels, and a general feeling of uncleanliness. The curtains were so sheer that the lights outside the doors shone through and made sleeping difficult. I wouldn't have minded all of this if I was only paying $50 or $60, but it was a very poor value at over $90.
The shadiest motel I have ever stayed in! Would rather sleep outside in gang vile! Pool-BBQ not working and looks like it never will. Very dirty inside and out! Not even coffee or ice. Alot of illegal activity through out our stay! Beware!!! Our door frame was broken so deadbolts didnt work. Cant stress enough how gross this place is! Should be shut down for health/crime reasons.
The motel is centrally located there is a nice restaurant across the street. The room was reasonably clean.
Condition of the motel was rundown. The pool was empty and the area filled with junk. Planters falling over with dead plants. Old furniture on the second level outside. There was duct tape on our carpet.
