It's a great place and location. Fun for the whole Family.
It needs some cosmetic work, painting perhaps. Cement crumbling around the the pool area and indoor pools seemed less cleanly. rugs were soaked upon arrival with too much moisture in the sheets ,etc.linens weren't fresh
There was alot to do at a good value.
Gym was very hot so did not use.Had to walk across a highway to get to our room.Resturant was VERY pricy
Pool area. Staff
Not much enjoyed most
close to lots of things
too many kids
We love the location, everyting we want is right there. there is enough to do when your at hotel also. My kids are older but still want to go to the night ice cream social, bingo, and entertainment. They have a decent show of fireworks on thursday night also.. bar and lounge are great to hang in also. live music always great. Rooms have huge T.V. fridge and microwave which is helpful also.
The rooms are good but beds are to soft, showing there age a little. we had some falling ceiling paint in room also. I also didnt like that i booked through booking.com for a family of 5. but our room only had 2 full size beds. so had to pay for extra cot and lucky we had a air matress. it was tight but very managable.
THERE WASN'T TO DO ON RAINY DAYS, WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED.
It was a great place for us to stay. We enjoyed the grounds (indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub) also there is a pond with pedal boats and a tower you can climb to enjoy the spectacular mountains.
Everything! I have been staying with you starting in the late 1950's with my family. I maintained this tradition with my own family and now they stay with you too!
Unfortunately the rain...LOL And would you mind restoring the Old Man of The Mountain? LOL
Very good location in the White mountains
cost a little high no breakfast service until 7:30 - we had to leave for an early start
The pool The food The lake The staff
Overcharged my deposit, took a few days to sort it out. Not many nearby attractions open.
The view was the best!! Enjoyed being able to do other options both at the resort and nearby
I liked that the staff was very accommodating after they learned that my husband was a cardiac patient and they were able to move us closer to the elevator after we were originally going to be very far from it. The view was wonderful, the beds were probably the best we've ever used away from home.
Great mothers day brunch and the amenities were great
People above us very noisy
Have been going there for years. Love the old feel ambiance, laid back, relaxing. Food wonderful, love the breakfast buffet. Pools are wonderful.
I think a bit pricey for the average hotel stay, but save up for it every year.
The staff was friendly, courteous and very helpful. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were great & the food was delicious. The room was clean & comfortable. Overall excellent.
It is only 1 exit away from loon mountain.
Our room was across the street from the main lodge which made it inconvenient to access the pool and dining room, especially when it's 3degrees out. Our room was as cold as outside even with the heat on because they're was a slight opening between the front door and the wall. And the waitress at breakfast ignored our table for the first 10-15 minutes.
breakfast was HORRIBLE. also, got locked out on our balcony. guy came to let us back in our room and added this happens all the time. i think you could afford to upgrade from the simple slider-door-barricade design to avoid this problem.
food service,staff attitude,policies,bugs

I really enjoyed night swimming in the outdoor heated pool. It was snowing and the sounds from the river behind you were relaxing. This is my third time here and look forward to going every time.
Food was good but a VERY long wait for my dinner BOTH night's.
Outdoor pool is nice but was not warm enough and had to go to the inside pool to warm up.
Seems a bit aged and could use some updating.
Everything! Outside and inside pools and hot tubs were great, on premise restaurant food was very good, prices very reasonable. Rooms clean, beds comfortable, staff very friendly. No complaints at all, will return!
