10 minutes to downtown STL Clean room I slept well No problems with WIFI Overall a positive experience mainly because it was uneventful. No getting lost finding it, no surprise parking charges and no traffic getting into STL
Location might worry some, but I didn't at all feel unsafe, nor worried about my car, as I could park directly in front of my room and the parking lot is well lit. I can't complain about anything considering the price I paid to stay
The hotel room is basic but clean and sufficient for our one night stay :)
The neighborhood seemed a bit dodgy!
Nothing glitzy and glamorous but very cheap. Easy to get to the downtown area. Plenty of parking. Clean and no nonsense. Everything worked and was clean. Would recommend for anyone needing a place to stay without bells and whistles.
The hotel was close to area attractions and the price was very appealing. Staff was friendly and the room was clean.
The only dislike about this motel was the beds where hard as rocks. Never slept on a harder bed in my life. Outside of the hard beds it was a good place to stay.
Location and cost.
It was just fine. It was clean.
Staff was not really friendly. Quite far away from the city center.
Decent room, reasonable price.
Neighborhood a bit dodgy
Very clean and great staff
The price is very competitive and the rooms are comfortable as well as being spacious. It is also well placed for visitors to Cahokia and the interpretive centre.
The unwelcoming, brusque staff (the owner and his wife, I believe) really are doing their business a grave dis-service by the way they greet people. Also the motel is in an area with very few restaurants nearby and the hotel owners don't give any printed directions as to how to find them.
The room was nice, new and clean Good internet connection
The reception was stinking No opened pub in the evening, we found good mexican restaurant in the town in neighbourhood - La Gardenia
The hotel was quiet and clean. The beds were very comfortable. I have stayed at more popular hotels and not slept as well as I did here. It was a very good value. I will definitely stay here again.
It was not in the best area and a little hard to find. We drove past it and had to turn around. It doesn't look the best when you first arrive. The tv is connected to the wifi and kept going out in the evening. We finally gave up trying to watch anything and went to sleep.
Need small table by sink to put your bathroom bag on.
Door knob loose. Thin walls.
Rooms were clean and appeared to be freshly painted. Descent
Manerger was argumenative with customers when I was waiting to check in. Walls paper thin, listened to people talking all night and walk around.location horrible, in a run down area of a run down town off the beaten path.
Cheap hotel; easy to get to the arch and the baseball stadium
First time I have ever had my drivers license photocopied at a motel. Reviews said it was clean, which was a big reason I chose it. Dead spider in a clump of hair behind the bathroom door was yucky as well as the big dead bug under the desk area. Very small everything. 2-story motel and there were only 6 cars in the parking lot yet we had noisy people directly above us. Will never stay here again. Definitely a case of you get what you pay for.
The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The location wasn't in the best part of town, but close to where we had to be and I didn't feel uncomfortable staying there.
Just the fact the Wi-Fi connection wasn't great.
Great place if you are doing Route 66
The Wlan was not optimal but it was good enough
Traveling with 4 adults and 2 small children. Easy access from Interstate and was priced well. Clean and met our needs for the night.
Motel was in the process of being updated. Neighborhood was slightly run down but it was quiet.
rooms are exceptional...very clean and impressive for the price and location. new tv and there's microwave and ref, too! i highly recommend if you plan to visit st. louis and vicinities.
the neighborhood is kind of creepy esp. when we have a hard time looking for the place late @ night but once you get to the place it's a relief as soon as you open the doors to the rooms. we had a good night rest and the place is really peaceful and quiet.
Lovely friendly front desk staff, superb clean really well furnished room with a sofa and coffee table, very very quiet, just a pity it was an overnight stay; handy to Cahokia Indian Mounds
The location was perfect for the downtown activities.... and peaceful at night
The staff was not aware of any public transportation near the hotel such as bus routes or trains...
Large flat screen tv, comfortable beds and quiet location, clean bathroom and everything works
Complementary Wi-Fi speed was a little too slow.
Clean room, quiet place, excellent position just few minutes driving to the Gateway Arch park.
Chip price, 10 min from downtown, clean.
