Fantastic restaurant. The Short Ribs meatloaf was out of this world. Fantastic room service. Great workout facilities. Really friendly staff without being overbearing. Great location in downtown Ashville. Overall very hip vibe.
I loved the fact the rooms had the faux wood floors, & we're very clean.
The only thing I didn't love is that it's supposed to be a pet friendly hotel, yet there was really no where to take my dog out to go potty.
the design. Rooms are quiet and clean.
Walking score to city attractions is a bit far. Especially in cold winter weather. Located next to the hwy-road noise. Internet is slow. Attempted to download movies for the flight home and did not complete the process for the flight home.
Staff was very friendly & knowledgeable. Layout of Lobby - bar/lounge area was very inviting (great lighting & modern furnishings on an open floor plan but still cozy) Lots of natural light along with great view from my corner room
VERY limited space upon arrival/check-in. Small area of tiled floor in shower had mildew stains in the grout.
Valet great Bar tenders not pleasant
The staff was friendly and curteous Perfect Location , a lot of resturants, shops and breweries in walking distance.
no complaints :)
We loved that there was a happy birthday sign and balloons and other birthday surprises!
I wish the drapes were able to keep the rising sun out first thing in the morning.
Perfect location in downtown Asheville. Walking distance to many great restaurants, shops and attractions. Beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms. Love the open/spacious shower.
Expensive, especially on the weekend.
My wife loved the fact that it is a green facility. She really liked the bamboo flooring. We both loved the restaurant. The food was much better than normal. I loved the location. It was an easy walk to the downtown area.
Not that we didn't like it but my wife thought it unusual that there were sodas offered in the vending machines.
The staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. Excellent underground parking and I delicious breakfast each morning. The room with a view was worth it.
As others have said, the furniture is older and worn. The grout in the bathroom is showing it's age – even a little rust in places.and make sure you get a room up because you are right on the highway.
The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff is very friendly. The design is sort of a funky, upscale property which translates into some interesting rooms. We had a nice view of the mountains to the north; but, it also had the interstate highway just below our window.
When the leaves change in October, it means that the hotels in Asheville can double and triple their rates. Our room was $439 per night in a room normally much less! We mentioned a burned out light to three different people with no results! Asheville is a great city to visit 12 months of the year. Avoid the "change of color" season!
Excellent staff. Cool decor Perfect location. Great shower
Poor noise insulation between rooms and hallways and outside Was expensive but that was due to peak season
Awesome location, wonderfully comfortable beds, beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains from our room on the 6th floor.
No refrigerator in the room.
Staff was nice.
Our rooms were facing highway 240, a lot of traffic. Did not know how to turn off the fan at night. Turned the whole system off but the fan kept going on and off. No refrigerator or minibar. No real restaurant, small place off the lobby, no comfort there and not many tables. First night over 500 $, did not think I had booked that, have to look into it. Other nights around 370.00
Short walk to downtown. Clean and welcoming. Love the lack of carpeting particularly given the dog-friendly environment. Great shower.
I disregarded comments about traffic noise from the highway. I was wrong. Even on the seventh floor with windows closed, it was disruptive. Also discovered that dog friendly can also mean dog barking at 3am. At an average of over $400 per night, it was not good value for the money.
The location was nice, our room was nice, Asheville of course is always nice
The front desk people were unhelpful with payment options. The guy at the front desk was suppose to send an email three times. When I approached him he acted like a total stoner laughing as he explained how it "toooootallly slipped his mind". It also took a long time for the restaurant staff to serve us.
The room was perfect great space. Did not realize it was pet friendly or would have brought the pupps along. The only disappointing aspect was one breakfast that was advertised as I chorizo omlet being from spain I am a bit critical of anything advertising chorizo. Not sure what this meat was but it was not choizo. Oddly there was an older couple from spain sitting next to me and we where both excited to see it on the menue and disapointed when it arrived.

Noise level from other guest going to their rooms
The hotel is only a few steps away from main downtown area-so no need to drive. There is also a bar on the main floor where you can eat everyday if you like. There are penthouse lofts for sale on the top floor, but you would not know that because its not properly advertised. You would think they are available as any other room for a small fee, no- they are for sale.
Staff is young and oblivious. As soon as you turn your head they pull out their cellphones and start texting or browsing on their phones. (Just seems very unprofessional).
I LIKED THE FACT OF RECYCLING. LESS ALLERGENS WITHOUT CARPETS. LOVED THE SHOWER. FOOD WAS GREAT.
NOISE FROM INTERSTATE. LACK OF VIEW. NOT ENOUGH TOWEL BARS OR HOOKS. COFFEE IN ROOM IS WEAK. NEED A WAY TO COMMUNICATE THAT YOU WANT THE SOAP ETC. LEFT FOR CONTINUED USE, NOT A NEW SET EVERY DAY. NOT SURE WHY THE INDIGO IS CONSIDERABLE MORE EXPENSIVE THEN OTHER AREA HOTELS.
It is in a great location, handy to downtown shops and restaurants. We have stayed there twice and will be back. The staff is very helpful and we loved breakfast and appreciated the effort to have free range eggs and other local items. The hotel featurs some nice views from higher floors. Highly recommended.
Great location but we found the actual entrance to the hotel a bit tricky to navigate via car. You can see it rising very near a downtown expressway but you have to make a couple of turns to circle the hotel to the entrance. Between our Garmin and our previous experience we did fine on our second visit. But on leaving we had to circle a couple of blocks because one street lacked a street sign and with the Garmin advising "Turn" we did and it caused a brief delay. Not the hotel's fault but worth being cautious about obtaining detailed directions.
I know if I say everything that may not be helpful. But seriously everything and everyone was AMAZING!!
Decor, clean, spacious
Our third time staying at this incredible hotel. We will be back again next year ! Do yourself a favor and book the upper floors with a view of the mountains.
Decor, view , and breakfasts, helpful and energetic staff
