it was all a great experience.
The staff was wonderfully welcoming and friendly and helpful.
In a bit of a dodgy area.
Friendly staff, clean, nice big rooms and good breakfast.
Only a minor minor glitch with clock not set at DST, which mattered since I was there for a meeting. HOWEVER, the coffee person at the lobby counter took care of it as soon as she heard me tell somebody standing in line and gave me my coffee complimentary to make up for the inconvenience. What incredible service!
Ease and cordiality of check-in, valet service, restaurant service, the quietness of the lobby and cafe are, the small samples of food and beverage, the bed was wonderful, the shower really unique. Loved the whole experience.
I liked that the Valet offered us a deal, 15.00$ instead of 30.00$ thank you.
Everything! Awesome town, awesome hotel and awesome staff. Most pleasant traveling experience ever!
Penthouse suite didn't have a balcony like the pictures portrayed.
Location, cleanliness, staff, easy parking, and views of the mountains and Asheville.
When we arrived the hotel didn't have our reservation, however, they allowed us to use the lobby computer. I printed out our Booking.com confirmation which they immediately honored, even gave us an upgrade on room and put us on the top floor for a beautiful view of the mountains. Staff from free parking attendants to the front desk to the maintenance folks were all extremely attentive. Lovely room with comfortable bed and hugh shower. Great place to stay while in Asheville
The Front Desk had a computer mix-up at check-in, with the front desk giving keys to the same room for 3 different couples; fortunately we arrived 3rd, to find the 2nd couple walking in on the 1st couple. The biggest thing that needs to be improved though is the shower head...the water pressure in our room was basically a trickle. Not sure if this was some sort of low-flow thing, but the toilet and sink seemed normal, so my sense was that it was just a cheap shower head; that huge shower would be awesome with a rain shower head. Finally, the price seemed a bit steep when compared to other boutique hotels we've enjoyed, especially considering it was off-season. The parking situation is pretty tight, but not a show-stopper.
Hotel Indigo is very modern, and extremely clean. The location in Downtown Asheville is perfect. Everything has a pretty cool vibe, from the lobby to the room! It definitely has all the elements of a top flight boutique hotel...it just needs a little more attention to details from the staff (see our check-in experience next) to the facilities folks (upgrade the shower heads). That said, I would definitely consider staying there again, but the price point would probably have to be a bit more reasonable. Hotel Indigo features an excellent restaurant for a relatively healthy la cart breakfast, which is extremely well priced.
It was really expensive, I think a bit overpriced.
We loved the hotel, it was just gorgeous and very stylish. The bathroom in particular was huge and the shower was the nicest I've seen in a hotel. They have a smallish but nice gym. The location was nice too, within a decent walk of the arts district and fine dining.
We were on the 9 th floor with a great view of the city! King bed was very comfortable and some of the best room service we have ever experienced! Fast and delicious!
I wouldn't say bad at all.....the check in area feels a little cramped and therefore we thought perhaps the rooms wouldn't be what we expected. We were wrong. It was wonderful!
Our time at the hotel Indigo was made even better by the EXCELLENT check in process and staff as well as the beautiful rooms. The view, decor, comfort and AMAZING bathroom made our stay VERY special!
Our visit was perfectly succifient to Indigo. It was our first time staying on that end of town and it was a good walk from all the breweries and shops we like to visit. The staff was nice but the valet was extremely overbearing. The garage was right under the hotel and we had one bag so we just parked the car ourselves. When I looked at the final bill that was emailed to me there was a $15.00 valet charge on the bill which was incorrect. When I questioned the desk attendant he did not aplologize for the error. He kind of rolled his eyes at me and said it had been fixed. I had to ask him for a new receipt to verify. Again. The stay was sufficient. But I will be staying at Aloft for the rest of my visits. It is the best hotel in town
The service was awesome but the stay was way to expensive for one night.
The staff in the bistro was nice, however, on more than one occasion I had to go back to the kitchen to get som one to help me and the other guests waiting for someone to help us at the register. It was a minor inconvenience, but I felt it deserved mentioned for the purpose of tightening things up.
Clean, well appointed, comfortable, great location
I drive a big truck so it was a tight squeeze getting under ground to the parking lot. The hotel offered free valet to park across the street. I stayed the course and parked myself. Icy weather and snow was not too much a problem for us, but I would hate to be a rear wheeled vehicle going up and down those ramps in that weather.
The staff did what it could to accommodate us in every fashion.
In room dining was delicious. Bed was quite comfy. Loved the room decor and large windows.
The staff at Hotel Indigo Asheville were so helpful throughout our stay. Our room was also incredibly clean and comfortable. We had a dead battery in our car when we tried to leave and Boe and others dropped what they were doing to help us. Who needs AAA!!
I could hear a dog constantly barking in the room beside us. Also, they did not mention at all there was a charge for valet.
Beautiful hotel within walking distance of everything downtown. Super friendly staff!
Had an awful view. Will know to request a room with a view.
Fabulous staff. Delicious breakfast.
Everything. Plus, we had to leave a day early due to an incoming snow storm and they did not charge us for the extra night even though we checked out late.
I walked in the door and was handed appetizers while I checked in. Front desk was great, valet was great (and they didn't even add the $15 daily charge for valet) and even the cleaning staff would stop and chat for a minute. Everything was clean, decor was modern and the view was great. Within blocks of all the craft beers you could possibly want. I will definitely stay here the next time.
Love the location you can walk to every thing the staff was very helpful and friendly. Very clean place. Great food(: Will defiantly be back!
The sheets, towels, and toilet paper were not soft.
The location was perfect.
Didn't like the 240 road noise from our room
Could hear some hallway noise, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Location was super. Hotel clean and nice. Covered parking excellent. Coffee in restaurant outstanding.
