Awesome location, wonderfully comfortable beds, beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains from our room on the 6th floor.
No refrigerator in the room.
Staff was nice.
Our rooms were facing highway 240, a lot of traffic. Did not know how to turn off the fan at night. Turned the whole system off but the fan kept going on and off. No refrigerator or minibar. No real restaurant, small place off the lobby, no comfort there and not many tables. First night over 500 $, did not think I had booked that, have to look into it. Other nights around 370.00
Short walk to downtown. Clean and welcoming. Love the lack of carpeting particularly given the dog-friendly environment. Great shower.
I disregarded comments about traffic noise from the highway. I was wrong. Even on the seventh floor with windows closed, it was disruptive. Also discovered that dog friendly can also mean dog barking at 3am. At an average of over $400 per night, it was not good value for the money.
The location was nice, our room was nice, Asheville of course is always nice
The front desk people were unhelpful with payment options. The guy at the front desk was suppose to send an email three times. When I approached him he acted like a total stoner laughing as he explained how it "toooootallly slipped his mind". It also took a long time for the restaurant staff to serve us.
The room was perfect great space. Did not realize it was pet friendly or would have brought the pupps along. The only disappointing aspect was one breakfast that was advertised as I chorizo omlet being from spain I am a bit critical of anything advertising chorizo. Not sure what this meat was but it was not choizo. Oddly there was an older couple from spain sitting next to me and we where both excited to see it on the menue and disapointed when it arrived.

Noise level from other guest going to their rooms
The hotel is only a few steps away from main downtown area-so no need to drive. There is also a bar on the main floor where you can eat everyday if you like. There are penthouse lofts for sale on the top floor, but you would not know that because its not properly advertised. You would think they are available as any other room for a small fee, no- they are for sale.
Staff is young and oblivious. As soon as you turn your head they pull out their cellphones and start texting or browsing on their phones. (Just seems very unprofessional).
I LIKED THE FACT OF RECYCLING. LESS ALLERGENS WITHOUT CARPETS. LOVED THE SHOWER. FOOD WAS GREAT.
NOISE FROM INTERSTATE. LACK OF VIEW. NOT ENOUGH TOWEL BARS OR HOOKS. COFFEE IN ROOM IS WEAK. NEED A WAY TO COMMUNICATE THAT YOU WANT THE SOAP ETC. LEFT FOR CONTINUED USE, NOT A NEW SET EVERY DAY. NOT SURE WHY THE INDIGO IS CONSIDERABLE MORE EXPENSIVE THEN OTHER AREA HOTELS.
It is in a great location, handy to downtown shops and restaurants. We have stayed there twice and will be back. The staff is very helpful and we loved breakfast and appreciated the effort to have free range eggs and other local items. The hotel featurs some nice views from higher floors. Highly recommended.
Great location but we found the actual entrance to the hotel a bit tricky to navigate via car. You can see it rising very near a downtown expressway but you have to make a couple of turns to circle the hotel to the entrance. Between our Garmin and our previous experience we did fine on our second visit. But on leaving we had to circle a couple of blocks because one street lacked a street sign and with the Garmin advising "Turn" we did and it caused a brief delay. Not the hotel's fault but worth being cautious about obtaining detailed directions.
I know if I say everything that may not be helpful. But seriously everything and everyone was AMAZING!!
Decor, clean, spacious
Our third time staying at this incredible hotel. We will be back again next year ! Do yourself a favor and book the upper floors with a view of the mountains.
Decor, view , and breakfasts, helpful and energetic staff
Good location for downtown. Definitely patronize the restaurant, great burgers and breakfast.
No refrigerator for room.
The decor in the room and lobby. The bed was devine.
The location. The view from the room.
This was my 3rd visit to Asheville and all three times stayed at Hotel Indigo. The location is great and staff is friendly and helpful.
The room was wonderfully spacious, the furnishings were ample and very comfortable and the shower was HUGE and awesome! The restaurant was small and simple but offered a very acceptable, diverse menu with foods well prepared for both dinner and breakfast.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very convenient to getting to downtown.
I booked a queen room at a discounted rate through Booking.com. I mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary in the "Special Instuctions" section, and when we arrived we found out that we had been upgraded to a honeymoon suite! Thank you, Hotel Indigo, for taking such wonderful care of us. We will definitely be back!
We were very pleased with our stay. Only complaint was only one choice of restaurants.
Great location to access all the diversity of Ashville. Our room was modern and fresh looking with simple design and furnishiings. Bedding was luxurious. Staff was so accomodating. Restaurant was great and not overpriced.
The furniture in the room is pretty banged up...needs replacing. The conceourge was not well informed.
everyone on the staff was excellent
no in- room refridge -- upon checkin was not told about ease of parking so we signed up for valet -- small extra expense but felt tacky -- taking into consideration the location I think that the hotel should provide walking tour guides from location to places of interest (public art, museums, exercise, etc.).-- noisy (older) machines in exercise/workout area made tv impossible to listen to
on site restaurant and hardwood floors in room!!
The bed, the shower, the proximity, the frogs and beetles singing lullaby
