    The hotel was in a great location. We felt safe, we were close to restaurants and the subway. The front desk was AWESOME. They were so helpful and willing to answer our questions and were always willing to point us in the right direction.

    Nothing. Other then the typical NYC issue of space, which I think they utilized what they had nicely.

    The location was great - easy to get anywhere from the hotel. We loved the decor and the hardwood floors in the bedrooms. The bed was super comfortable. My daughter loved the gym. The staff were always good humoured, welcoming and helpful.

    The wifi was certainly problematic. I was relying on it to be able to work from my bedroom and this was impossible for much of my three day stay. Because of construction going on around the hotel, the street outside of the hotel was diverted with a pedestrian divert too. I would have liked someone from the hotel to have been able to help get a taxi and to bring my luggage in/out.

    For the size of the room (typical of NYC, of course) I thought the price was a bit high.

    Front Desk staff, Nicole, went out of her way to accommodate us. Housekeeping staff were also extremely courteous and helpful.

    Want to place in Manhattan where you can romance your partner? IN THE ROOM!! The room was comfortable and well designed. Great deal for the cost. Great staff.

    The location was great. Cleaning crew was excellent. Basically a room with a door guard. thats it, nothing more.

    Noise of construction next door. No food service. Nothing extra ordinary to justify higher room rates. Better value for money at other hotels. Disappointed that this indigo hotel was not as great as the London Paddington station indigo… like two different companies.

    Rooms were very nice, bathroom was spa-like and very clean--hardwood floors were a great bonus. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Close to everything, including trains.

    The Indigo has a good vibe to it. The concierge service was good, The employees were professional and friendly. The elevators were fast. The rooms were comfortable. Parking was a block and a half away. Access to cabs was easy. The last minute rate we received made staying here a great value.

    The advertised top floor lounge was closed. 28th street really isn't Chelsea. It's kind of in between Chelsea and midtown.

    Easy to reach from Penn Station. Good internet connection. Room was cleaned everyday. Coffee maker in the room is good.

    Included breakfast is only valid for continental breakfast. A/C is noisy. The guy at the front desk is not very friendly. Although we booked a room with twin beds, we got a single bed room. He stated the reason as "booking through a third party" (which is booking.com).

    The staff was great; very helpful and personable. Hotel Breakfast was really good too.

    The bar was closed by 10pm, so you were unable to get a late night drink in house.

    I liked the layout of the room and the soundproofing decorations on the walls. It came with all the necessities.

    The size of the room was small, but that was expected in NYC.

    Excellent location with various subway stations, as well as several food or drink options, nearby. Rooms were very spacious, which is not that common for that price in central NYC. Particularly liked the Keurig coffee machine in our room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A range of (American-style) breakfast options are available from the bar downstairs. More European-style breakfast can be had nearby.

    Even though we asked for, and were given, a so-called 'silent' room (1208 – higher floor, furthest away from street side), the noise level was not optimal. Ventilation and aircon from neighbouring rooms and/or buildings was audible (and rather loud) 24 hours a day. Not for light sleepers.

    Keurig in room; very nice. Greatly appreciated the Aveda products. Nice sized room for NYC.

    I did like the spa style bathroom, but water from the shower did spill into the bathroom a bit since there wasn't a curtain or door on the shower stall.

    The pedestrian walk outside the hotel which sometimes is dirty.
