La cortesia dello staff e la pulizia della camera

Viaggiando con famiglia composta da 3 persone, avevo prenotato una camera doppia con 2 letti, colazione inclusa nella tariffa delle camera, ovviamente per tutto il nucleo famigliare. Lo staff dell'Hotel sostenendo che la colazione inclusa nella tariffa era valida 2 persone, ha considerato extra costo la colazione per la terza persona. Colazione oltre tutto di misera qualità e quantità.

L'assenza di moquette in camera (parquet). La grandezza della stanza La vicinanza all'Empire (l'hotel è sulla 28th, tra 6th e 7th). La pulizia. La cortesia della hostess (russa) alla reception.

La rumorosità delle pompe di calore. La mancanza di tende oscuranti. La rumorosità delle stanze adiacenti. La via dove si trova l'hotel è in smantellamento/rifacimento, quindi non è bella a vedersi.

Great staff. Clean. Hardwood floors. Quiet. Convenient to subway. Street is lined with flowers during business hours :)

European shower - meaning, no curtain. Stall has half panel of glass to contain some water, but the bathroom floor got wet during showers - and the shower floor was slippery - older travelers, be careful!

Very hip hotel in a great location. Especially liked that it was in the flower district. So much fun to walk down the sidewalks crowded with flats of plants, palm trees, lilies and other houseplants.

The shower door is only a partial door and the floor by the toilet gets wet when you shower. Very small complaint!

I have to start this review by saying thank you so much to Arturo and the entire staff at The Hotel Indigo!! My fiance was away working for our 11th anniversary so we didn't get to spend the day together... I wanted to make it special for him (since we are getting married this coming July 4!!) so I looked through tons and tons of hotels in the Chelsea area and finally found this amazing hotel. First of all, the price was great for a Friday night ($199 before tax) and it looked so cool in the pictures, I just had to call and see their availability. I ended up booking the room on booking.com (which was great, inexpensive and very easy to work with by the way...) and then called the hotel to ensure my reservation was there. The man I spoke with was soooo nice and accommodating and was a very pleasant person to talk to. He ensured me that my reservation was in the system and I proceeded to ask him a million questions about the hotel and the area and he never flinched!!! Soooo nice and patient with me (a random girl from Delaware who is absolutely clueless when it comes to nyc!) and when I asked him to do some sort of flower arrangement on the bed as a surprise, he and the team at the hotel absolutely nailed it!!! When I called on Friday morning, I spoke with Arturo and told him that we were coming from de and that I wanted to make this anniversary celebration extra special for my fiance. He proceeded to upgrade us to a suite for free and also gave us 2 complimentary drinks at the bar in the lounge downstairs....INCREDIBLE! But here is the best part....when we got there, we walked in the room and the entire suite smelled like beautiful, long-stemmed hot pink roses....there were petals all the way from the door to the bed and they made a huge heart on the bed with a dozen of the roses in the middle. As if that wasn't enough, they even took some of the petals and arranged them all over the sink and left one single, cut rose in the middle.....

Nothing. Everything was awesome!!

Staff - Natasha at reception was very friendly and helpful,very professional. It made our stay comfortable and pleasant in addition to excellent hotel location in flower district of New York.

Lobby and restaurant facilities could be more inviting. A kettle in the room could be useful for guests that do not want coffee. In rooms with two beds, it was impossible to use the chair and table due to lack of space - probably better to just remove it all together?

Great location, clean and comfortable. Eggs benedict were excellent for breakfast.

I liked the quiet room, neighborhood, Nd proximity to subway and restaurants.

One of the elevators was not working.

Terrible service, minibar warm, dirty room, shower falling apart. Hotel restaurant/cafe did not have a bottle of water available for sale, and croissant that was suppose to be included in the breakfast was not avsilable two days in a row. Charged full price anyway. For a bottle of water I was sent to a automated machine that charged me usd 2.5, and it was out of stock! No indication that it was empty. Terrible experience for almost usd 300/night, STAY AWAY from this "hotel" It is a total ripoff!

The best part was walking through the door to our room for the first time!! What a wonderful surprise.....bright, clean, modern, but comfortable, and above all....affordable! Great location....near Times Square and all transportation, and plenty of parking for the weekend, right in front of the hotel! I was so pleasantly surprised by the room, and that it was so immaculate! I will definitely stay here again!!
