Hotel was very clean. Staff was great, all were very helpful--from the front desk to the restaurant. Bar is very nice. James was great and very helpful. Location was away from the thick of things, but nice and quiet. Easy to get to the restaurants and bars by the River taxi.
Too far from the river walk activities
beautiful hotel and room, unfortunately housekeeping and maintenance not up to expectations
dumpster right outside room, at 3am every morning was trash pick up 2 of the 4 days, had to go to front desk to get towels and face clothes that were not left when room cleaned phone system has flashing message light, no messages, their fix was to place black electrical tape of light bathroom outlet did not work, reported to front desk, was not taken care of, wife had to use hair dryer and curling iron at the bar outlet
Great comfy room, nice bar & bistro, pleasant staff
Reported soap & washcloth needed, couldn't resolve cc on tv, no decaf when requested, unusual shower curtain arrangement, thru booking.Com did not expect increased room rate on 2 of 4 nights
Staff friendly, free wi fi, good rooms.
Feels a bit old, restaurant needs a kick, the foods lacks of creativity, there's a nice restaurant at the Havana hotel only 2 mins away called ocho
People at the front desk, very friendly and totally helpful, they went out of their way to assist us. Parking is good.
No breakfast offered free, as most hotels. Overpriced considering no comfortable chairs in the room nor any breakfast.
The beds pillows the balcony was wonderful
The restaurant good was good but came at different times for each of us and we had to ask for food we had ordered that didn't come with the meal
Pet friendly and nice size rooms.
Slightly far from central riverwalk area.
I loved the location, we could walk down steps and be on the Riverwalk. The patio faced the afternoon sun plus we could smoke on the patio
The wifi did not work when we were on the patio, if it did I could have enjoyed movies.
Loved every single thing, excellent view.
The bed was a bit soft for my back, but I still had a great sleep!
Location Security Cleanliness Quietness Awesome staff Outdoor patio
Large, well appointed rooms. Bed was extremely comfortable. Location is a very short walking distance away from the Riverwalk mayhem, which I really enjoyed. But still right on the Riverwalk. Large bathroom and shower.
$15 dollar parking fee for self parking which was not advertised. I was unable to connect to the WiFi with my laptop computer but my cellphone had no problem whatsoever.
Big rooms. Big TV in the room. I like the decoration.
No microwave in the room. The wifi connection got me on my nerves. Some days was working perfect but other days was terrible or not working at all.
The location is excellent and the staff is knowledgeable friendly and helpful.
The beds could use heavier blankets.
Location was perfect for walking to several different sites (downtown, Market Square, art museum). Rooms were excellent (beds, wifi, refrigerator). Nice little bar and restaurant. People were very friendly.
The only complaint I have is that the staff that we dealt with did not know the area very well--however we found other folks who could tell us where to find things.
The hotel was very nice for the most part...quick access to the river walk..not over populated...very comfortable bed's...great view of the museum and riverwalk..
The area/location of hotel was a little uncomfortable..the room could use updates..tiles in bathroom were loose..I did call the front desk twice with questions and they never answered..my husband had to go to the front desk to ask the questions....could of been a little friendlier..
More comfortable bed. The beds are far from the TV in the room
Thanks to Joe at hotel Indego for giving away our confirmed Riverside balcony room we ended up staying at an amazing hotel called Hotel Cantessa which was closer to the activities same price room and much better service and a classier hotel I recommend a hotel Cantessa over Indigo if you plan on staying in San Antonio. Thanks to Joe my husband and I I had a pleasant memorable birthday weekend at Hotel Cantessa
That even though we confirmed in the morning that we had the balcony room but we couldn't chrck in yet because they were just cleaning it they ended up giving it to someone else because they could get a higher price just because it was a special weekend
Staff were friendly and helpful! Hotel was quiet.Proximity to the River Walk and the river barges was great: Couldn't get much closer! Beautiful location! Loved San Antonio! Will be back!
It's far from all restaurants on river walk
Facility was nice and clean. Decent location along river.
Bartender was completely rude and overstepped his authority. Has never been schooled on hospitality. Single handily caused our large wedding group to leave for another watering hole. Everyone in our group complained about him, and the guy at the front desk told us it has been an ongoing problem. Will not return to this hotel solely because of the complete lack of tact and professionalism from a single employee. Yes, it was that bad.
LOCATION AND PRICE
THAT THE HEATER STARTED SMELLING BURNT.BAD ODOR
The location was excellent! We walked down some steps to the river from the outside patio and a river taxi picked us up in a few minutes and dropped us off at the River Walk. Lovely room with a nice view of the pool area.....and very spacious!
We thought that the breakfast brunch was very pricey for what was offered. The only price posted was the kids price of $7.50 and the lettering was so small we thought that was the adult price. Pretty disappointed about that. We definitely would have just gone on to the the River Walk for breakfast if we had realized it.
+ has got a direct water taxi stop in front of hotel
- watch out not to get a room next to the garbage, as they get the trash in the night.
ON THE INTERNET IT WAS DESCRIBED AS LESS THAN 10 MIN WALK TO ALAMODOME AND CLOSE TO RESTURANTS.. WE BOOKED FOR THAT REASON.. TURNED OUT TO BE 20-25 MIN WALK ON THE STREETS (NOT A PLEASANT PLACE TO BE AFTER DARK)AND EVEN LONGER WALK JUST TO EAT ON THE RIVER WALK. NOT TO MENTION THE EVEN LONGER WALK TO THE ALAMODOME. WE LATER FOUND OUT YOU CAN TAKE A WATER TAXI (WHICH WE WERE NOT TOLD ABOUT WHEN ASKING HOW FAR TO A RESTAURANT)THEY RUN ABOUT EVERY 45 MIN....
