Were given a high floor, room was clean and spacious and breakfast was really good.
We booked and paid for a king but were provided with 2 queens. When we spoke to reception they said they didn't have any kings available due to unexpected guests. They seemed to think 2 queens was an upgrade. When we explained we preferred a king because we are both six foot two, they just said that wasn't possible. We asked to pay the discounted rate for a queen because we booked a king, they said that wouldn't happen. Disappointed that we were too tall for queen. If they didn't have a king available they shouldn't have allowed us to make the booking, or allowed us to cancel and find somewhere else.
located in downtown, very close to the magnafcite mile. Breakfast is good!
Close to a fair department , so noisy.
Comfortable room, upgraded to a suite, good breakfast, great area of the city. Staff was friendly and helpful and I'd stay again if I get the chance to go back.
Fire hall is across the street but turn the fan on and you won't notice.
quiet environment good breakfast nice workout room
Location and staff were excellent
The staff always ready to help you The comfort of the bed The location
The noise from the club located in the side street at night The comfort of the sofa for the children The price really too expensive of the long distance calls. It would useful to have a public phone in the hotel.
location clean comfortable very friendly staff
breakfast could be better
Everything hotel very clean ...staff very friendly the stay was Great !!!!
Robert made our stay spectacular! Howard was also very helpful and nice to see how they worked as a team! The discount for the boat tour was nice along with the discount at Connie's!
price of parking
Danielle at the front desk was kind and helpful from making reservations to help during our stay. Whole staff was great - an asset to your hotel. Our group of 9 liked the location and the facility
The free breakfast was a plus. Staff helpful and friendly. Overall great place to stay in downtown Chicago.
This hotel was in an excellent location, close to everything. Staff were very helpful and friendly and gave good recommendations for restaurants nearby.
Inconsiderate other guests yelling and chasing their kids down the corridors at 5.30 in the morning - two mornings in a row. This couldn't be helped by the hotel, but was very noisy and disturbed sleep.
Close to great restaurants Close to Magnificent Mile Comfortable beds Clean Bathroom
Breakfast was excellent and included. We had king suite and was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Location perfect. 6 blocks from the metro system that takes you direct from O'hare airport. Free wifi which is a bonus when you have two internet mad kids
Only bad thing I could say is beware if you get a room opposite the fire station. The street is noisy if the engines get called out and when the nightclub gets out. They are not afraid to beep hornes. Can disrupt your sleep
Nice place to stay, good breakfast is served.the staff is very courteous It is near to all the major attractions and all the eateries and pubs
everything was great! very clean, rooms quiet and comfortable. the free wifi worked really well, and the hot breakfast was tasty with enough options to satisfy us for multiple days.
The hotel was in a great location for all the key tourist downtown attractions. The breakfast was excellent and the staff all friendly. We had asked for two quiet rooms together and that's what we got. A really great hotel, and we'd definitely stay there again.
Nothing. Other reviewers noted the paper plates at breakfast as a negative but it didn't bother us (and you could make your own waffles!). We didn't hear any noise from the fire station opposite but could see why it might annoy some residents maybe if you were at the front of the hotel.
Location, good value for money, cleanliness. Friendly & helpful staff.
We enjoyed that the hotel is very new and that everything is up to date. Location is good and in close proximity to Magnificent Mile and also free trolley that takes you to Navy Pier. Giordiani for pizza and Eddy V was great for fine dining.
Breakfast was the same each day and very repetitive. Selection was very limited but Javier was a key asset in making breakfast memorable and enjoyable. Javier understands customer service and a key asset to the hotel. Note that there is also no pool.
Room very clean Room very modern, well equipped and nice decor Bed and bedding and pillows very comfortable Breakfast is excellent- Javier is a very friendly and helpful attendant. Overall-a great place to stay.
Rate is overly expensive Parking situation and outrageous charge for it Elevators very slow- long wait always Front desk and outdoor staff should be better informed of details, directions, providing information Could use brighter lighting in room Addition of a hot tub would be nice
The staff was very friendly, breakfast options were good and the room was large enough for 2 adults and 3 busy grandchildren
Across the street from the Fire Department - but it really was not a problem
We liked the location of the hotel and sincere approach of all staff with similing faces. It was also an ineteresting experience to see the activities of the Fire Department just acoss the street.
Location, friendly staff and spacious rooms.
Breakfast was meager for the high price paid for the room.
