    First, the staff was exceptional in professional friendliness! Surprisingly it was not just one person or one shift but the whole "feeling tone" of the hotel staff. That set the tone for excellence through out. And with all the other superb qualities it made for a stay that was most positive as well as one where it is remembered far after the stay is over. That is how unique and superior every area of this hotel presents itself! Bravo to a job well done.

    Size of room was very large. Excellent when we had lots of luggage. Big king bed. Location to I-5 couldn't be better.

    Extremely comfortable bed, clean and well maintained room, kitchenette useful, tasty hot breakfast, great location for Oregon caves and Redwood forest.

    I love how comfortable the beds are and it was quiet.

    They don't give you senor discounts if you book through a third party (like bookings.com) yet I tried booking with them and they didn't have the room so I when through booking.com and they had the room. As a return members I also lost my points.

    Breakfast selection was good and room was comfortable. The beds were comfortable. View was great, laundry room was clean. In-door pool and jacuzzi was enjoyable.

    The pool area was indoors and open 24 hrs.and the spa was great after a long road trip. Also the hotel room was very clean.

    the lighting in the bathroom flickered and was dim and the pool towels were small and very rough. Pillows and comforter not so comfy.

    Rooms are quiet, a nice size, clean, excellent bed/mattress, and all appliances work: TV, frig, microwave, coffee pot, hair blower. Staff have always been pleasant and available. Nice to know the front desk has someone there 24/7. Breakfast has a variety of choices hot & cold. We appreciate the 24/7 availability of lemon ice water, coffee, tea and coco. The tray of cookies at front desk in the evening - always a treat! Panoramic view of surrounding mountains and trees can even be seen from the indoor pool/jacuzzi area as it's has many windows on three of the enclosing walls. We have always enjoyed staying at La Quinta!

    Due to a mistake in the reservation(my fault) we showed up day late. The clerk(acting manager) was unsympathetic and totally unaccommodating. She said they would bill us the full price of the reserved room($82.00 plus taxes) for the missed day, and offered us a new room for an additional $147.00 plus taxes. She scored zero on the customer service scale.
