nice room good wifi good bed beautifully landscaped with fabulous roses
thin walls noisy fridge minimum breakfast
Paper thin walls. It was very hard to sleep with the noise going on next door and outside.
Size of Room & Bed Quiet Location considering proximity to Highway
Poor Breakfast a little more choice would be good.
Small room for breakfast
Good hotel, everything you'd ask for. Very helpful staff
Too far from the beach and the wharf.
Next to Festival area
Hotel was dirty. Carpets disgusting, mold in shower, paint chipped. The water even smelled! After seeing the room we tried to cancel our reservation and the hotel told us they would move us to a different room. The new room was equally disgusting. The towels were hard, thin, and like sandpaper. We had to buy blankets, towels, shower mat, bleach wipes, and flip flops. Showered in our flip flops and then wore them until we climbed into our own blankets so our feet didn't have to touch the ground. The included breakfast wasn't much.. Cereal on the checkin counter with begals, peanut butter, and jelly :/..
big bathroom, nice staff.
Good location. Very well accomadated and clean. Friendly staff.
Carpets dirty , poor towels quality, bed not comfortable, air quality very poor .
Staff rude and difficult to understand Lobby, dirty and in need of paint Room, not clean Beds uncomfortable, pillows lumpy Linens scratchy and none too clean NO AMMENITIES Noisy could not work air conditioning When I complained manager just became VERY DEFENSIVE Breakfast, cheap, only cold cereal, overcooked hard boiled eggs, cheap pastries. Breakfast area, not clean, tables not wiped off between guests THE MOST EXPENSIVE hotel I have stayed in in years, except for maybe a five star hotel in New York I will not trust your website again
That they had my reservation.
It was Monterey Auto Week, so rates were $400 (10 months in advance), $500-600 going rate, but accommodations were chinch bare bones nothing special. Spa broken, thin hear through walls, worn out rooms, stiff mattress, joke for "breakfast". Went for A.M. Coffee and 2 other guests were talking about it "being the worst". I've stayed in 30 hotels in last 3 months and this was near worst, especially if they are willing to take $500/night and do nothing for the property or guest.
The location and facilities were great value for 2 or 3 stars. Not the Ritz but we were paying for value. No complaints. Clean room, nice little pool, strong internet and free parking. Great local location.
Parking lot noise
Initial room was damp and smelled so asked to move to main block - had to pay extra but new room was great: spacious and quiet. Grab n go breakfast was a bonus. Good location near to highway exit.
Initial damp dark room.
Room was large and bathroom was very clean
No lifts and the bath towels were very coarse and small
Way, way overpriced. Rooms were in bad shape. Outside appeared in big need of refurb. The breakfast snack is not worth mentioning. The customers were mostly bums. Apparently we paid more than most.
Staff was very helpful and accomodating. Location was good.
The bed was comfortable. The shower was good. Staff was polite
Far to small sink area for two people. Breakfast, poor choices, as no protein except peanut butter. Towels poorest quality ever encountered. No closet. View from room very ugly and unkept. Shampoo in too small a packet and poor quality of soap. Water in toilet was yellow for an entire day
Good location. Good value.
Staff incredibly rude. I would not stay here again.
We were traveling up the coast and thought we would just find a place wherever we got to. I was worried because everything was booked but the Red Roof Inn had rooms. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk was attentive and while it was only one night we were happy with our accommodations.
The doors to outside were not locked in our building. I have a family with kids and I just prefer that you have to use a key card to get in the building if separated from front desk building.
broken bed, toiletries, sandpaper towels, missing amenities, continental breakfast
we were traveling with our four pound dog and they accommodated us even though they did not have a contact with booking.com the include pets.
spa was out of services
