Good location, breakfast OK, comfortable bed
Expected to room and furnishings to be a little more modern and up to date. Bath was small.
Beautiful building and room...excellent location. We had an issue with the tub faucet and it was taken care of almost immediately. Nice small buffet breakfast.
Not as clean as we are used to...not disgusting, just surface dirt, but should not be for the price! Maid cleaned out tub train and left sit on side on tub. Woman working desk 2/21-22/15 not very polite and snippy to guests.
We had the best experience!! The front desk staff is AMAZING!!! Rooms are very clean and everyone is incredibly friendly.
Close to river promenade and restaurants.
It's just Day's Inn with a slight makeover.
Location was great!!
The room wasn't real clean. The outlet on the wall was falling off of the wall. The shower was horrible. One minute it was cold the next minute it would scald you. This was not a $111.00 a night room. I've stayed at Comfort Inn and Suites a lot nicer.
The location of the hotel, but not my room.
My room was on the side where the traffic was. You could hear the traffic all night long. Then, the heater in my room was making noise.
Great location at a great price. Comfortable beds, great service. Would definitely return or recommend.
Frequently, my laptop would not allow me to use your wifi. The message was that it wasn't secure.
location; outside façade of building is nice
No refrigerator; needed more than one luggage rack
It's location was great. The reception/lobby area was inviting and charming.
once on the bedroom floors and in the bedroom, we felt as though we were in a different hotel, compared to the charm of the entrance. Very 'Day's Inn' or 'Comfort Inn', effectively economy hotels. The room was only set up for two visitors, our booking was for three! We had to ask for toilet tissue (only half a roll?). Also had to ask for more pillows, blankets (had holes in it when it came), more hangers and mugs. The breakfast was hardly 'deluxe continental' stated as we checked in. The woman who checked us in wad hurried, She 'gabbled' out the information patter, she was rude to her associate, and made it obvious she wanted to have the check-ins moved away from reception as soon as possible! An unpleasant experience to start our stay.
Location was excellent.
Ran out of parking passes making in/ out of the garage a hassle. Breakfast was poor. Poor choices.
The company, my Valentine, was exceptionally great company for me and picked a great place, within walking distance, for an exceptional dining experience!
No complaints by me or my Valentine.
clean comfortable bed quiet close to lots of activities parking
What a great hotel. We stayed in the suites and they were wonderful. Very roomy and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved this hotel!
Location is its best attribute. The suites are absolutely gorgeous!Lovely lobby.
However, this time we stayed in a regular room. It was decrepit. Furniture falling apart, the crib we borrowed was dingy. Their breakfast bar is improving, but not as good as the Holiday Inn Express'. Staff doesn't seem happy.
Location / pretty building
The staff was terrible, the check in process was a train wreck, the employee was incredibly rude, terrible experience, hotel did not make any concessions either, the room was horrible on the bottom floor, small, loud heating and air system, it was small and cramped, no amenities, and was so expensive for not much - it was very loud outside - I asked for a room on the second floor and was ignored. Over all so disappointing! I have buyer remorse!
We upgraded from standard to a suite which was excellent. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was the best. We love Planters Inn but our 1st experience at Inn at Ellis Square was Awesome. WE WILL RETURN But in a suite for you will be treated best unfortunately.
We booked 4wks in advanced our request was not met. When we arrived at the desk we we pushed along the parking was congested our room was bleach clean a fan was all the accommodation given so we updated & was treated totally different (upgrade room/update service)
convenient to lots of things
Staff-helpful and friendly Location-easy walking to all of old Savannah Clean and good, filling breakfast Liked it
The location was ideal. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful
Bed was comfy and proximity to my business conference was great. Fitness center was nice to have but could use an update.
Tap water was not good, more water coolers would be great. Price was high for the quality of room, really just paid for location. Parking should be included with room reservation.
Location Charming old building
Small cramped room Staff not very knowledgeable about things right close by All self-serve. No valet parking. Carry your own bags. Breakfast had no protein--all carbs except yogurt
This was a Christmas trip with three of our 13 grandchildren. We all had a fabulous weekend. The staff were very acomodating to my grandchildren making them feel very grown-up and special. We will be back .
Having to leave and go back to work
We paid parking charges were $16 but when we returned from our evening plans there were no spaces left. After complaining to the front desk, they permitted us to park in a restricted area for the night.
the staff, the location, the number of pillows on the bed.
It smells, I think it's the carpet in the corridor plus someone was sick in the lift (poor staff!!) I had to share the gym with a really fat sweating guy half-naked working out in tight jeans (not even in gym clothes!!) the Breakfast was a joke.
Definitely needs updating and a good cleaning
