The Inn at Marina del Rey  

Location is very convenient for city trip, however car is critical there.

Friendly staff who were always happy to help. The rooms and building was always clean and tidy. The room itself was very spacious, easily sleep 4 people if needed to. Complimentary breakfast, wifi and parking was a massive plus point

The staff went out of there way to make you feel welcome and to accommodate special requests like early check in , holding luggage after check out , sorting transport .

Many of the rooms are "suites" with bedroom area separated, 2 flat screen TV's, clean rooms. Bike rentals on premises. The guests are quite varied; we met people from Sweden, France, Germany, Mississippi and Atlanta.

Be advised, most attractions are not within walking distance. The beach for instance is 1 mile west. You can easily bike around however with rentals offered at hotel.

excellent location, very close to Venice Beach and easy access to Santa Monica, very confortable and clean room, large enough for 4 persons, very helpful staff, the free garage is really a plus, good breakfast

the breakfast room is small and it may be needed to wait if several people come together, but this is not a major issue

The staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable and great for value with breakfast included.

The staff where very friendly and the facilities very well decorated.

Style of the room, is a mini apartment with lot of space! Breakfast is reach and complete. Staff is amazing good and friendly and give you tips of the area. Absolutely clean and tidy. I would recommend it for sure to everybody who is willing to visit Venice, the coast and LA.

The very helpful, friendly staff -- everyone, but especially the front desk people -- in particular, Francisco and Jose.

The rather mediocre breakfast (eggs were inedible) and the plastic utensils. Also did not like the plastic glasses and paper cups in the room. But I suppose that is a sign of the times.

- room rate was charged twice from the credit card, two other payments were also deducted from my credit card; these payments didn't occur on my bill and happened "accidentially" - hotel staff responded late and not very friendly to my email request about the necessary reimbursements; it took several mails to convince them about their "mistake" (...) - rooms are very noisy, on both sides of the hotel is a street, - many cars! - Wherever the marina is, it is not close to the hotel... - parking is very limited, most parking spaces from the hotel require to leave your key at the front desk... - it is difficult to understand the very good ratings for this hotel

- You should check your bill and credit card very carefully... I was charged the room rate exactly twice; in addition to that, they took 50 usd from my credit card (they didn't explain why), and an additional 1.50 usd for a "bottle of water" (which I really can't remember). This makes four direct debits, three of them wrong! - besides that, the room was very loud (cars) - blocked drains are another problem in this motel; obviously not only in my room...

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We travel regularly and can honestly say that the staff here made our stay even more enjoyable than just the surrounding location itself. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to any couple travelling to LA and would certainly stay again.

I am very fussy and have not one negative thing to report!

The hotel was beautiful and had everything we needed. Breakfast was good, with fruit and the essentials, even two picky norwegians found something that worked for our fibercraving stomachs. The room was big and we could easily have stayed more than one night in a place like this. Outside area was great woth a small swimming pool and even a heated jacuzzi!

The location could have been better. We had to walk for some time to get to the beach, and the street right outside was the most beautiful view, but it was still in walkingsdistance to restaurants, beach, etc.

The room was spacious and had all the mod cons. I loved they were not on the road front and instead looking over the courtyard. Very clean and tidy and the breakfast was great!

One night the air conditioner on the roof above the room beside us was running really loudly off and on throughout the night. Not the best night's sleep after a 15hour flight.

Location close to airport & cost; free parking.

I liked almost everything about the Inn--quality of room/bed/features/etc.; Styling; courtesy of staff; full breakfast (a big plus); location...

We had to change rooms because the safety lock for the first room was broken. The room we were placed in was not a suite (less desirable) and very noisy (it faced the street traffic).

In Marina del Rey is very, very good! I loved!

I have been staying at the inn for many years when it was pacifica, best western, etc. I have stayed at hotels in venice, santa monica but always come back to this one. the rooms are spacious, it is quiet and the furniture is comfortable in the living area and we always get A good night sleep.
