The view was amazing.
The parking garage is very bad. It is extremely difficult to maneuver, very tight parking spaces. My car was damaged while trying to back up.
View. Staff. Room. Accommodations. Breakfast.
Could not watch a movie. Equipment malfunction.
We liked the size of the room and the ability to spread out. You also included a nice kitchen space with everything one needed.
Internet was poor with sporadic connectivity.
Room was exeptional, bathroom was a hit, view----spectacular.
Having to leave early.
We could hear and watch the ocean from our room. Balcony with chairs to view the waves. Wonderful accommodations. The bed was so comfortable. Added bonus, a fireplace in the room, although we didn't need it. Will definitely stay there again.
Didn't need the basket of goods that had price tags if used.
We loved the view of the ocean from our room at the Inn at Nye Beach. The fireplace made our room warm and and stay so cozy. We enjoyed being able to purchase wine at the Inn and the nice wine glasses and cork screw in our room. We loved having baked scones and fresh fruit for breakfast. We enjoyed the shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispenser in the shower at our fingertips. We also loved the three shower nozzles of water dispensing warm water on our bodies at the same time. It was so relaxing and luxerious at the same time. We really appreciated having a late check out time, beings we had to have our brakes worked on the last day, and it was raining so hard we needed at place to stay while our car was being worked on. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Newport.
I liked everything!
There were not any negatives.
We loved the Inn and the area around it. We loved the little cafe Stephanie where we had breakfast. It was a fun place and we will come back for a visit.
In suite 11 we loved the room size and the view of the ocean. We loved the convienence of having a sink, stove top, fridge and dinning room table to eat meals. The stair access to the beach was crafted very well. The view of the ocean and light house for us was outstanding!
The noise from the water flowing in the pipes from suites above. This was not a show stopper but was the only thing I didn't like.
Was a little spendy
View from balcony
Would like a full breakfast. They offer scone and fruit.
Often pet friendly hotels limit dogs to 20 pounds. My 65 pound black lab was easily accepted, although she is quite a marshmallow. We had a great view of the beach and even saw whales spouting from our room. That even have a per area just behind the rear parking lot. Beach access is only a staircase away, and shops and restaurants are only a block away.
The only downsides were an odd DVD setup and a cool but polite desk clerk when we first arrived. ( The other clerks were great, though.)
I liked the view and the binoculars in the room. They were a nice touch and allowed us to watch the whales up close. I also really enjoyed the French press.
Parking underneith was too tight. They couldn't really fix this but I would recommend not going underneith and just parking on the street. There were plenty of other spots where you aren't going to scratch up your car.
Watching the sunset from our balcony on a perfect evening was amazing. The room was very large and comfortable. We had trouble with the tv (which really wasn't an issue), but they gave us a discount on the hotel bill.
No laundry facilities on site
Location Size of the room Staff was extremely kind Scones in the morning French press coffee in the morning
Poor wifi. In and out could not maintain signal. No laundry bags in room or any bag for dirty clothes
Really well appointed and thought out for comfort. Stunning views and meticulous. Clever details: picnic basket, binoculars, kettle and French Press. Good bed and linens and pretty quiet.
We were just off the entrance and heard quest coming and going and elevator. They probably shouldn't have put rooms in this place. Also right across from house-keeping and heard that. Acoustics not great. Staff seemed overwhelmed, not smooth. Parking a mess. It prides itself on being elite but does not have what it takes.
Like good old fashioned coffee maker (or even something like Keurig)....also be nice to be able to get a morning.
See above...sorry put response in wrong place!
The service was excellent, the rooms were incredible, and the view... left me speechless.
Very clean n beautiful Inn.happy hour was great so was scones n fruits in morning.
Beach was ok, tons of stairs but if you walk about a block down there is a public access.we were on bottom floor n you can hear everything from people walking above you and plumbing must not have well insulated cause it was very loud whenever someone above us used the toilet or shower.
So close to the beach, such an outrageously beautiful view, and so close to great places to dine. Having a fireplace was a plus.
We loved the beach front, ocean view. We didn't know there would be a kitchenette so we were pleasantly surprised by the great facilities. They supplied everything you would need. The location was perfect distance to all the activities and restaurants. We will definitely be back next year with family and friends!
Pleasant and helpful staff. A great place for a relaxing getaway.
