The staff were the best!! They went out of there way for us every day we were there. The food was great and the rooms lovely, but the standout here are the people.

Very nice hotel close to Venice beach. Free parking is a great plus in LA

A bit to far away from the Central LA ( Beverly Hills etc.) but if do not miss those places - it is very good choice.

My husband and myself stayed here while doing a road trip from LA to Seattle and it was amazing! We are so glad that we found this place as everything was really wonderful, from the staff to the rooms. We have raved about it since coming home!

The staff and the place. The area is going to be reaaly trendy with all those restaurants and on. However it's not just a bit noisy. Just few blocks to the beach that is not that crowdy like others. Yo can take bicycles for free.

    I guess it's a bit pricey

Fantastic place with ultra friendly and helpful staff. The rooms (as we stayed at the beginning of our road trip honeymoon and just had to come back for the last few days!) were huge, bright and luxurious. Have already recommended to friends and family to come stay. So peaceful and relaxing with everything you could need.

The staff are helpful, conscientious people and our charming room was a welcome respite from busy LA . This place is a lovely, quirky anomaly in the L A accommodation scene. We were delighted with the breakfast too. You do need a car to stay here.

Didn't expect the breakfast to be so good. Loved it as well as the muffins left out for all the evening before. My wife said those were the best she ever tasted.

Nothing except maybe be sure people know to contact you if they are arriving late. Otherwise they would not have the code to the gate I believe. We had no problems. Wonderful stay.

staffs are very friendly. they upgraded our room knowing we are on honeymoon. a small sparkling wine and some chocolate displayed on the table when we arrived. very considerate. love the toiletry product, better than 5 stars hotel. dining room for breakfast is fab! and the homemade breakfast is ace as well.

a bit expensive for B&B . no laundry room available. and the view is not very nice with a big wildness which looks like an abandon field.

Just LOVED it! The Staff were awesome. The Chocolate Chip Cookies were Delicious. The Availability of Free bikes to was Terrific. We loved our long bike ride on the Beach. The Experience was AWESOME - would come back anytime!!

The Sunday morning Breakfast soufflé was marginal - but there were other food selections.

I loved the décor of this beautiful establishment. It crosses an old English style with Old Hampshire, and shabby chic distressed look. Gorgeous!

It was expensive for what was essentially a bed and breakfast establishment. For that money, I would have expected AT LEAST a couple of bottles of complimentary water in the room fridge. The fridge was running but nothing in it! I wasn't too impressed with the breakfast either with no meat, such as bacon or cold meats. We left a little hungry.

We loved the luxurious, comfortable furnishings and atmosphere. The inn has a lovely fresh, warm breakfast in their charming dining room (with fireplace and views of the wetlands). In the evenings there is complimentary wine and cheese and veggies in the living room (also with a view of the wetlands). We enjoyed conversations with several visitors. In the evenings the staff put coffee cake and/or cookies out in the dining room for a late snack and cup of tea. Backing up to the wetlands is a treasure and a delightful find in the midst of LA. It is only a short walk to the beach. It was only about ten minutes from LAX and about the same from Santa Monica.

Limited number of restaurants to walk to but loads to choose from in just a couple minutes drive. This is not the place to stay if you want to walk to shops.

Staff was very friendly, holiday decorations vey beautiful and felt like home. Daily wine and cheese appreciated. Freshly baked goods each morning were anticipated! Just delightful!

TV location was awkward with the cabinet door hitting the bedpost.

Location, decorating style, attention to detail, and personal touches like a handwritten note welcoming me with home baked cookies. I would recommend it to everyone but am not sure I want everyone to know about it.

I liked everything. They will have to pay attention to tiny maintenance details in the next few years.

This was the best hotel that I have stayed in during our 4 month around the world trip. Everything about it was outstanding, from the comfort in the rooms to the warmth and helpfulness of the staff to the amazing breakfasts and complimentary evening drinks and cheese.......everybody should enjoy this excellent hospitality experience.

    Having to leave!

What is there not to like about this wonderful place. The staff are really welcoming giving a guided tour on arrival. The rooms are large with huge comfy beds and fluffy pillows. The Inn has a lovely seaside feel with the breakfast room and lounge decorated in fresh colours and lovely furnishings. But the big plus here is the hospitality. We arrived very early in the morning and just expected to be able to leave our bags and then return later to check in, but no, we were given breakfast and told we could relax in the lounge until our room was ready. They then worked really hard to get us into our room as quick as possible and about an hour after arriving we were unpacking! Guests are served wine, cheese, dips & crudités in the evening, all complimentary. Breakfast is delicious, with homemade pastries, yoghurt, cereals, toast, eggs etc. coffee, tea and snacks are left in the breakfast room during the day for guests to help themselves. They also have a honesty fridge with soda's in which you can help yourself to and let them know how many you have had at the end of your stay. The Inn is 5 minutes from the beach and they have beach bikes which you can use to ride along the cycle path which takes you along Venice Beach to Santa Monica or Manhattan Beach. We only stayed for two nights, but they were the perfect end to our holiday across America before flying home.

The fact I couldn't stay longer!

Very good pre-arrival communication with staff. The setting is nice. The bed linens are clean and comfortable.

It's really too large to be an "Inn". It's more like an upscale motel. The facilities are run down for the price. The food is sub par, with off the supermarket shelf breads and cereals (more the breakfast you'd expect at the Ramada than an Inn).
