Rooms are very dated for the money.
surprisingly full featured kitchen
shower head sprayed sharp little jets of water, and balancing a hot water level was difficult
Very dirty, smelly, incompetent receptionist
Old style reminds me of the past
rooms and building is ancient!!
Nice place to stay. Old, but clean. We stayed for a reasonable rate one night. But when we requested to stay one more night, the price doubled. Too high. But the place was clean and cozy.
The cost. No Elevator, and construction right out our window.
We were in seattle for the football game. The hotel was further away from Pikes market & Century Link Field than we thought. However the hotel was extremely easy to find & very close to I-5! Getting on & off the interstate was very easy, which made spending more than what we wanted to on a hotel worth it. We were able to park right in front of the hotel for a total of $5.40 for our entire stay.
There is no elevator, and the stairs are a little steep. The bathrooms were outdated and very small. The hotel was a little more expensive than what we felt it should be, however made up for it in other ways.
Location was great with ,Toulouse (fantastic food) and Pesos (nightlife) round the block.coffee was free
Fridge kept me awake with its vibration ,plug sockets falling off wall,wi-if does not reach first floor(informed when we arrived),sheets stained ,cleaners camp outside door chatting first thing morning, cable tv not working, dumpster wakes you up between 0600-0630,windows do not keep outside sound out let alone weather ,towels are like sandpaper,,
No door between kitcenette and rest of room.
It was unusual, amusing
Arrived at 10 p.m. to find our room was a 3rd floor walk-up - with luggage. Full kitchen that we didn't need and NO coffee maker.
Location, location, location!
Parking was very hard to find.
No parking Old hotel without today's comfort
No elevator - unheard of with 3 flights of narrow stairs!
I loved the historic feel of the place and all the unique furniture and lighting fixtures. The staff was great!
For as old as the place is, a few extra amenities or updates would have been nice to make the price worth it. For example, a continental breakfast, newer bedsheets/comforters, coffee maker in the room. Small improvements would make a huge difference.
The staff was courteous and very friendly. The free wifi was definitely nice tho it was somewhat unstable. Also, the location was great and the building had a nice historical look to it.
Sadly there was a lot more than there should have been. As soon as we entered the room the floor had stains on it. The walls had an abundance of paint build up where it seemed to be slopped on and various plumbing and fixtures were painted as well. The bathroom was BY FAR the worst facility I think we had ever encountered at a hotel. The wall around the sink was heavily damaged from where they had placed the sink and failed to cosmetically fix. There was literally 10+ areas on the walls where there was wall damage and a poor attempt was made at fixing with paper patches. There was rust in various spots throughout the bathroom on most anything metal especially on the door jams and bathroom drain. Let's not forget the MOLD... the bathroom window had heavy mold growing over cracked caulk all around the window. When this issue was brought up to the front desk an apology was issued and another room was offered, but nothing more could be done as they failed to have anyone with authority on duty at the time. Needless to say we will not be coming back.
Great location, quiet, clean. Large room, kitchenette was a great bonus.
The air conditioner was needed more to move the air, not so much for the temperature. It wasn't in good working order. I was constantly adjusting it. Bring your hair drier as there was not one in the room. Also, there were few power outlets in my room.
Seemed to be decent location (however, met by friends with car). Reasonable rates compared to other hotels in area.
Tired condition. No amenities. Basically, only a place to sleep and shower. Needs some TLC, inside and out.
I enjoyed the old world styling of the room
Third floor room and no elevator. I have Parkinson's disease and the stairwell was challenging. Nice view of the Space needle though
Location is perfect, older style hotel but good staff and good facilities.
No elevator and no porter.Older people will struggle with luggage.
Was in walking distance to everything.
Old run down building and no parking.
The old style was nice.
It took me. An hour to find parking after I was told the tiny lot was full and that they couldn't Valet my car in the underground?!!..... Uggggh?!...... Than I had to move my car at 11pm from a paid lot or pay MORE....and than move it by 7am?!!!...... Really?!!
location, old fashioned environment, good upkeep
1. vacuuming the hallway outside my room at 9:45 am. Woke me after a night at the music festival for which was the principle reason for the trip. 2. I was a little concerned about security -- our key was given out without checking our identities, we were given free reign into the back where our luggage was kept (meaning others had access to our belongings, as well), the door to the building opposite the front desk was kept open and even opened for us. Perhaps the city is a completely safe, trusting city where nothing ever happens at IQA, but many opportunities abounded for theft
The position is the only advantage.
The hotel is run-down, in very bad conditions. Staff is unprofessional and not collaborative.
