I appreciated the attentiveness of the staff and the comfort of the room. The size of the room was great didn't feel like I was closed into a closet as some places are.
I would have like to see microwaves in place.
It was comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The wifi was down the whole time we were there.
It had a historic look
the cleaning service was great, the Wi-Fi did not work, the two girls at the front desk where playing on the computer as I stood in front of them never looking or acknowledging I was there, I was needing help with the guest computer again . the cleaning staff was excellent
booking .com failed to tell me that my room was 159.00 on the weekend not 119.00 like the weekday rate, we booked it for 10 days.and found out when we got there,
The staff smiled and were courteous. The lobby has interesting decor, very New Mexican. The hotel does its best to provide a continental breakfast with variety.
The hotel was in need of maintenance when we stayed there. There appeared to be some rot or water damage in the outside patio area roofing, and large holes were visible outside our room; however, no structural problems were evident in our room itself. With the exception of one guest, our stay was quiet. I must admit that the gates and doors slam if guests aren't conscious of it. When we booked, we were excited about the "heated pool and jacuzzi"; however the pool was not heated and the jacuzzi was broken. In addition, there was something wrong with the Wi-Fi during most of our 3-day stay.
I did not like the bugs in the room, poorly trained and skimpy staff. Had to request maid service. No parking due to Balloon festival balloonist taking all spots with multiple vehicles. Coffee was like water in room and in lobby. No porter sevice. No elevators. Very old and rancid smell from sinks.
This facility is very convenient to the locations I was visiting. Check-in and out was basically hassle-free and the staff was pleasant. Breakfast was nice, although the coffee was a little weak. I would stay there again.
The Wi-Fi was painfully slow.
Public spaces were "impressive" but should have put their money into upkeep of rooms.
Breakfast with room price. Other type of eggs other than scrambled. A lot of different place to eat in court area. The 2nd room a lot nicer. Like the fact that there extra plastic chairs to sit on court yard or on sidewalk next to room door.
Not enough trash cans in room. I was issued room 126 on my 1st night there very out dated. RR very small, AC did not work well. Changed to room 154 very much nicer. GYM very outdated. Would prefer less items but more modern stuff.
Maintenance staff was excellent. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Front desk personnel was very helpful and apologetic.
I didn't like that the front desk put us in a room that had a problem. They must have had an overflow in the restroom and had a huge blower in the room. It smelled really bad.
The room was clean and comfortable.
Water pressure was low.
The room was clean. A little old but not run down. We were there with our teenage daughter and her friend. They enjoyed the pool.
Parking was cramped. It was difficult to get in and out of parking places due to the nature of the lot. If we had been in our truck I think I'd of had to park on the street. We were on the 2nd floor, and the people below us must have wanted to wring our necks. The floors creaked. A LOT! I can only imagine how that sounded downstairs. Breakfast was ok. Powdered eggs. blah. Other than that, not bad.
Good location and good price
The pool was closed so my kids could not swim, this was part of the reason I chose this hotel. My key did not always work. The hotel is pretty run down. I did not get the room I booked, was supposedly upgraded, the pull out couch was NOT an upgrade. The huge party that was allowed in the courtyard until 1am was unbelievable.
This hotel is very outdated! Rooms were dirty, there were ants, and like fruit flies flying around. I had to call the office because other guests were partying in the court yard until 2am! In the morning there were beer bottles all over the courtyard. Swimming pool was closed everyday we were there. Not a family kind of hotel! When I checked out the front desk didn't even ask us if we enjoyed our stay! I will not stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone!
The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable! When walking to our room, screens were falling off of windows. Very run down.
Mold on ceiling in my room.
Newly acquired property for Howard Johnson. I hope their remodeling efforts make it a top-notch facility. I like the location.
Room was more than expected!!
staff was very nice at check in
the pool was dirty, cold and the hot tub did not work. There was a wedding party and they were very disruptive while trying to put the children to bed.
The place was very nice and room ly. Lot of small little areas to eat other then the breakfast area. Wt. room kind of outdated. Pool was excellent. Stores near by. Fridge & micro were nice to have in our room. I definitely preferred the lower floor due to age. AC was great.
I had to get duplicates keys because the set I was given did not open door. This was done twice & stayed three nights. The TV a little too big had to get close in order for control to work.
The atmosphere of the area.
The squeaky floor in the room we were in.
Everything, the picture was not what it appeared on the web site. The staff was very surprised to hear it feed back and when we asked for a refund.
I liked the room and the pool
The manager was rude and miss informing
I like the location, easy access to restaurants.
Gates locked for security.
Cleanliness. Not good - in and around hotel.
