Boutique; Low rise; Comfortable & clean: Friendly staff; Great location; Exterior brownstone but with modern interior; Character (but with this comes ingress via a few steps - however there is also an entrance lift, if required); Affordable.
Comfort, location, amenities, WIFI, no keys, charm, complimentary water, small kitchen in room.
Some stains on carpet/furniture.
Location was great for our purposes
No hot water on Saturday morning when we went to shower. We reported this to the office and they apologized but did not offer to make any adjustments for this issue,
Great staff, very clean, and convenient.
n/a Loved everything
Home from home
a bit crowded first thing to get breakfast but a minor complaint
I liked being in a residential neighborhood close to the heart of the city, in a room that was big enough and comfy enough to resemble an apartment.
The TV had a glitch that periodically disconnected the cable link. I knew how to correct it, but it was annoying. Fix it!
Thin walls...can be noisy for some
No hot water thus cold shower Firefiters came into my room at 1:00am tell me there was CO2 alarm in the hotel No compensation from the hotel for such inconvenience although hey apologied.
Spacious, comfortable, and a great location. Walking distance to many restaurants and services.
A beautiful old building with paper thin walls. The bedrooms, although separate within the individual units, share the bedroom same wall with other units. I had to endure my neighbors coital activities at 2:30am, headboard banging and all. Ugh.
This property is on my Boston favorites! The location was great. The decor was sophisticated chic but very comfortable. The kitchen was a big plus.
I could hear the elevator screeching.
We were in Boston for baseball and sightseeing. The St. B was perfect for both. It is an easy 20-25 minute walk to Fenway. And there is a T station right around the corner from the hotel so hopping on the metro to to downtown was a cinch! Lovely quiet street, our only regret is that we did not have more time to explore the nightborhood.
Could only find espresso in the breakfast nook, a pot of coffee would have been nice to supplement the coffee in the room.
Noise from the air conditioning was very annoying. We could hear it and feel it vibrating through the building even when in bed.It went on all night. We had rooms 403 and 404 and from the top of the Prudential Building we could see that the AC units were on the roof directly above those rooms.Brits in particular should be made aware of this as we are not used to AC.We prefer to open a window! The vibrations from the AC and the very noisy fridge in the rooms made for 3 broken nights sleep. The worst we had during our two week holiday.
It was so much nicer to stay in a brownstone studio than in the typical hotel room! The decor was upbeat ,the layout spacious, and the kitchenette an added perk.(Eggs from the 7/11 across the street filled in the nice continental breakfast.) Less than a block from public transportation and shopping. Fabulous espresso! Very quiet.
No airport service. Cab worked okay, even though I had to put the address into his GPS.
The staff were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was comfortable with lots of added extras that I didn't expect in an aparthotel (shampoo etc). Breakfast was available every day to have in the comfortable lounge or to take to your room. The location is excellent for the T and also other train stations. I have limited mobility but found it easy to get to them. The Prudential centre is nearby with shops and a food court and there's a 7-11 right across the road which is handy for everyday items and sandwiches etc. I highly recommend this hotel
Well equipped kitchen with full size fridge, hob, microwave. Every possible utensil including wine glasses, champagne flutes, whiskey tumblers, tall tumblers, ice bucket, cocktail shaker........ Breakfast was continental, usual choices except for fruit. Best to bring breakfast back to your room as it was served in lounge area with no real area to eat. Great location beside Prudential building right in the heart of Boston. T underground stop is around the corner.
Location, comfort and style
Big room, good bathroom, good kitchenette, good bed, fantastic location. Nearest T station is 3 minute walk away.
No initial interaction with on-site staff (they are one floor blow the entrance), left me not knowing what facilities there were.
The location is fantastic and it's like a home away from home!
Location, comfortable, furnuture very quet ,staff very friendl
Dirty towel, no Arabic chanel
Great location. Nice neighborhood. Can't go wrong staying here.
The lighting was not very good. Did not like lights by bed. Make them dimmable. Otherwise a great stay. Will recommend your Inn.
The best place ever seen in Boston recommend to all
As all us rooms are petty cold but could warm if you need
The room decor. Access to the front door at any time of day or night. Generally quiet. Variety of shops in the very near vacinity.
Bit of noise, mostly at night ...maybe from the building next door. Sounded like noise in the pipes.
