Location was excellent.
Not very helpful about Hovenweep.
I enjoyed the staff and the room, it was clean and very comfortable. I will return to stay when I come back in the spring. The pool and hot tub were great and one of the reasons I came back to stay there.
The only thing that could be fixed would be to have Coffee and Tea options in the evening. Maybe some hot and cold water with herbal teas avaialable
the area is beautiful. This would be a great home base for exploring the region.
We arrived at 7 pm on a Sunday just after hunting season and the town was closed down. If you're traveling late and coming from the north - stop in Moab for a meal!
By far the nicest place in town.
We had to change rooms because the internet did not work in the first room. Then the next room it smelled like menthol very strong which we stayed in and should have moved again because we never got used to it. Woke up with a raging head ache and their vending machine was out in one slot .... The pain medicine!
breakfast was skimpy.
Dining and fireplace.
Had to leave.
No elevator to 2nd floor. As older people, it was difficult to carry the luggage to 2nd floor up stairs
This was a great stop on my return trip the staff was great lovely room very clean everyone was very helpful
Best hotel in Monticello.
Not many choices in Monticello.
WE were unable to use our reservation due to travel circumstances and we could not cancel and get any part of our money refunded. That doesn't seem very accommodating to us....
Only an hour from Moab it's good value to stay before you enter the National Parks.
Breakfast area in a busy spot near lobby
Staff, hot tub, breakfast, bedding, atmosphere
Wifi unreliable, heating and cooling unit needed servicing, would not auto shutoff
I really liked that I could relax and unwind from all the stree of my job. Everyone was very kind and I would stay there again.
We had a bit of a problem with Moths. The moth balls that they put in the room seemed to attract them not deter them and the smell with terrible. We killed 4 the first night, 17 the second night, 4 the third night and threw out the moth balls. We then purchased some sticky traps at the hardware store and put them by the door and the window. After that the trap caught 1 moth and we didn't see any more for the remainder of the trip.
The rooms were quiet which is what we liked the most. The continental breakfast was very good and had plenty of choices. The room was also very clean and tidy. We would stay there again. We had a mountain view and saw deer at dusk grazing which was plus.
There was nothing we didn't like.
Rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. Pool and spa area clean. Good size pool. Breakfast choices small but good.
Breakfast area can be busy so no seating.
Staff were not available at desk a lot of the time Room card keys kept failing Noisy bathroom fan and water pipes Rooms had previously had smokers and had a smell
Good sized room; breakfast included.
internet was very slow
check-in staff not friendly breakfast poor selection wi-fi very weak signal and very slow
From the time we checked in with Kevin, who was great, until we left we could not be more pleased.
The bath tub in the middle of he room.
Everything, really good place to stay.
Moths in the room due to broken mesh ..... mentioned to staff hopefully fixed.
The room was decent and comfortable. Free breakfast was the usual waffle makers, assorted bread/muffins, hardboiled eggs, etc. The pool was large and very clean. The hot tub was great after long days of hiking. It was powerful and hot. Location is close to the southerern entrance to Canyonlands.
Wonderful pool. Super breakfast. Comfortable room. Friendly staff, helpful staff. Restaurants nearby. Great view of farmland.
Comfortable, clean, quiet. Nice place to stay. It has a really nice pool and hot tub - great way to relax after a long day seeing the local sites. This is a small hotel, but nice, I like the feel of this versus a large chain type hotel.
Breakfast area a bit cramped. Selection good but not great for breakfast. It was a filling breakfast, but a little more variety (i.e. more than one kind of bagel) would be nice.
