Very comfortable place to stay. We had been traveling and searched for a place to stay. Very pleased that we found the Inn at the Commons. Walking distance to several pubs.

patio door would barely open.Carpet in the unit was terribly stained and dirty, did not appear to have ever been vacuumed, there were nail clippings on the floor. The room keys did not wotk alot of the time. I saw an employee drag a hose to water trees at the river bank and step over litter rather than pick it up. The pool water was clear and the pool was not discolored but ther were alot of leaves in the bottom of the pool.The room we were in and the rooms under the office area smelled of mildew.
This was a great place to stay. We were very surprised at how clean and comfortable the room was . The restaurant Larks was phenomenal. The food and service was amazing. My husband and I recommend it highly.

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. In addition to the reasonably priced room, the staff was friendly, knowledgable and very accomodating. The free breakfast buffet well exceeded our expectations with hot and cold foods continually being replenished. The room was impeccably clean with easy access to the hotel lobby and dining room. WiFi connected without any problems as long as you stayed in your room. Overall our stay was better than any other place we've stayed in the Medford area and we will most certainly be returning to the Inn at the Commons.

Over-all the room and service was excellent. The hotel was close to a park, shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The room was quite and the pool was very clean and heated although I didn't get to use it during my stay. The breakfast was very good and included scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, juices, milk and a variety of breads / bagels with toaster and butter / margerine / jam options. The bed(s) are very comfortable, bathroom nice although small. The room included an iron & ironing board, fridge, microwave, coffee maker w/coffee. Big chair and desk which is nice when sharing with another person. Lots of extra lights, floor lamp and wall lamps, one table lamp between the beds. Parking infront of my room which is helpful when unloading and loading vehicle.
When booking my reservation on the website there was a quesiton regardung "the 'guest" and I took this as the person I was sharing my room with (my brother and I shared a room with two seperate beds). I would assume the person booking the room is the "booker" or the person staying in the room. Anyway the hotel front desk could not find my reservation under my name who was the booker and the purchaser when I was checking in. I assumed the person that booked the reservation was the name that would come up in their reservation system which is also the same person that purchased the room. Maybe the website could cross reference the booker / purchaser name to prevent this from happenining. Although when I checked out of the hotel, the hotel rep found my reservation under my brother's name which I thought I was listing as my room guest. Anyway, if the website could have made that clearer it would have been helpful because I'm sure I'm not the only person that misunderstood that question. The hotel rep booked a new reservation and I got the same rate I found on the internet so it worked out fine. The flat screen TV was too small a 32". The majority of hotels I've stayed at have 42" TV. Not very good channel seleciton, no HBO or Showtime options.
Dirty smelly room. Bath wasn't clean. Beds were very very soft. Carpets very dirty.
The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and modern. The buffet breakfast was very good.
