The staff presented themselves as professional, caring and interested. The 4th floor ice machine has been replaced with a freezer holding small bags of ice - interesting! Good location with a Dennys and burger place a block away. We were glad to see that the hotel is renovating the rooms.
Someone with a valid key card was able to open my door in the middle of the night. The chain on the door prevented entry. The rooms are in the process of renovation. My room had exposed electrical conduit, cigarette burns on the bathroom counter and peeling wallpaper.
The staff at the Inn where very friendly and helpful. We where in town for a concert at the Moto Center just two blocks away so it was a short walk to and from our rooms.
Since our room was on the side where MAX goes by it was noisy. Our floor did not have an ice machine, it did have a small freeze but never had ice in it.
Cleanliness Awesome View Right across the street from public transportation Friendly staff
Close to convention center. Convenient.
Repeated problems with room card key not working (i.e. did not open room door)
The max train was right outside our window, which wasn't too bad, but the traffic noise was terrible. The window was not adequate for the noise level, I could barely get the metal latch to lock it. I would recommend window upgrades for the hotels location.
I enjoyed my stay the staff was very friendly and we were within walking distance to the MODA center and really close to the max line.
The room was really noisy due to the windows. I heard every max train and a bunch of cars
It was close to the Moda Center so we didn't have to drive. The front desk lady was spunky, nice and helpful!
I didn't like that the parking was so limited. I didn't like that the whirlpool was out of order. I didn't feel safe.
Excellent location for my needs. Quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Nice view of downtown. OK for the price.
Furnishing getting dated. Who has a tube TV? No real desk chair. No breakfast. Strangely prominent metal frame on mattress. Balcony door non-functional.
We liked the room was spacious, it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the location was very good, with trams to downtown in front of the hotel.
It was cold at night in the room and they just gave us a small and thin extra blanket that didn't solve the problem.
That it was close to the arena. Good place to stay, good staff!
Noisy, dirty! Has not been updated since the 80's. In my opinion, the elevators were unsafe.
We were in town to watch a concert at MODA center. This was a short walk from the hotel.
Be warned there are limited dining choices within walking distance: Red Robin, Denny's, and Burgerville.
Very ample room, comfortable bed and nice room infrastructure. The guys at the reception are very friendly and available for questions/support.
The staff was friendly. We liked the proximity to the Tri met and Moda center.
Paper thin walls. We could hear the neighbor. The train was just outside our room. The a/c unit was not adjustable.
people location is great for convention center
it needs a renovation but value is there for the 89 bucks
Great value Courteous staff Clean
A bit threadbare.
The front staff are wonderfully friendly and the location could not have been better for me. It is definitely a basic hotel, but the bed was comfortable, the place was reasonably clean, AC/heat worked and the shower worked. What more do you need?
Most things I noticed could definitely be a bother, just not really for me. The wi-fi was spotty, the TV didn't work and you could hear city noises. However, since I don't hang out in hotel rooms, I personally did not mind much
1. Excellent location to the Oregon Convention Centre, and MAX Light Rail Stop (Convention Center Stop). It is located exacted at the opposite of the OCC. 2. Very friendly and helpful staff. 3. Low price (~$90 per day), but it is clean, comfortable and worth every single penny.
1. No breakfast is served at this hotel. 2. Room 504 that I stayed had a noisy heating system -- it chirped the whole night throughout my stay. 3. Unless you have something on at the convention centre (eg. conference, exhibition, etc), this is not a place to stay if you want ease of finding restaurants. With exception to a Denny's and Burgerville nearby, there is practically no dining place in the neighbourhood.
Fair price, great location for visiting the convention center
You get what you pay for. Decor and general appearance a bit dated.
the location was great
could of stayed at a nicer hotel for the money
We especially liked the location to the convention center, the shower worked well and the staff was excellent. The beds were comfy and we were glad the heater worked since we had a few ice storms during our November stay.
This hotel needs a major face lift. The doors, the bathroom surround area and carpets are pretty beat up. Don't expect your fridge to work. But believe it or not, we would stay here again because we were only in the room to shower and to sleep.
Really friendly and helpful staff, good location, Wi-Fi connection, clean and comfortable room.
good location, nearby the train station
This hotel is located in the place you can easily access to Moda centre and 30 minutes walk to downtown.
The wifi is so low that you can not use it for any website
great location for the convention center, easy parking. Staff was wonderful.
dingy. needed painting and a little updating. The max runs right next to the room
