I like the free parking and when we returned, my car was safe. Also the free miniature golf was nice. Easy to get to from the freeway
I had a room with two beds. When I walked in, one of the beds seem to have not been made. The sheets nor covers were not tight. Even though the room was clean I felt uncomfortable. Would not sleep in that bed. The other bed was fine.
The putt putt course was a cool feature and the on site cafe was good for lunch!
Rooms were a bit musty, probably from water park guests. Was a damp feel to the room the whole stay.
Loved everything about the stay!
It was located just in the heart of Galveston, if we had had time, we would have gone to the water park nearby.
The bathtub was dirty, staff were not that good, breakfast was too light.
location and price not too bad, however not a place I would go to be comfortable or enjoy a vacation.
The older building does not have elevators and I which were informed of that when booking.
Proximity to Moody Gardens. Cov ered parking. Inside access to rooms
Older facility. Had to walk to another building for office or breakfast
We liked the closeness to the West side of the island and 61st street, enabling us to get around without having to use Seawall. Room was big and clean, A/C worked great. Dual sinks in bathroom handy. Covered parking under annex very nice. Elevator quick to respond, even at peak hours.
Pool was closed for one day of our stay, when open water was noticeably green. Front office staff were unclear on when pool-side restaurant was open, which is apparently not affiliated with hotel, strange. Price on the high side considering remoteness of hotel (this may be a plus, depends on guest preferences).
Paper thin walls, people were inconsiderate, loud and was woke up by drunks and the up-stair neighbor. I called on him multiple times, could not sleep in because of all the kids screaming down the halls and parents screaming at them to not do that. I did not stay the last night that I paid for. It was better to go elsewhere and take the hit then stay. Terrible!!!!!
I was there for 3days not one day was my room vacuumed, the restroom had mold in it, entire room was full of dust, had 2 ask for clean tiles....couldn't use the pool because it was closed, golf was full of water from rain, for the price I paid no I will not return very unsatisfied!!!!!
Great family place rooms are clean
Pool was dirty
that the hotel was clean and by the water parks
the internet is to so and the breakfast was not good at all ceral was stell and the pancakes were watered down and the pool was cloudy and had to much chriorine in it because burned your eyes and the beds were hard
This is a family hotel, loved the idea that we can bring our kids back and be right beside the water park and that there is a putt-putt course in front of the hotel. The beds were AMAZING. I really liked the fact that we could leave our vehicle there in the front so it could be watched while we went on our cruise, and there was transportation provided to and from the cruise terminal.
The dining area for breakfast was really small, of course it was crowded and there were tons of people everywhere; think they should have a patio as well that you can eat at and not have to walk down by the pool
location was great
staff were not very friendly and place was not very clean. the breakfast area was so crowded we never had a chance to eat there at the hotel.
Great room, great service, great people. The on site restaurant was absolutely fabulous.
Room was clean as could be expected.
Shower walls were peeling off. Room was dark and a little dreary.
Put put course
Staff, room toilet didn't work. Got moved into a new room sink didn't drain had no light bulbs in room. Got charged twice. I paid cash for the room and they also charged my card. Called to resolve issue got a horrible attitude with managed didn't help at all told me I could wait was a complete b****.
Big clean room. Great price. Every hotel we've stayed at, the room stayed too warm. Here, the ac worked great! Best sleep I've ever gotten away from home!
The lobby and hallways were really stuffy/hot.
The hall ways in the new building were way to hot , I was miserable before I made it to my room
Breakfast, location to water park
Beds are very hard, hallways and elevators are suffocatingly hot. Numerous guests were complaining about that.
The room was clean and accommodating and staff was nice. Location was perfect for Moody Gardens year passes.
My daughter and I looked forward to Miniature Golf and we're very disappointed in the repairs needed. Also, pancake maker made breakfast line very long. May want to invest in 2.
This hotel was the worst stay I ever encountered. TV didn't work, ice machines were broke and Put Put golf course needs renovating. Would not recommend to friends.
Convenience. Located close to Schlitterbahn
The showerhead was stopped up and barely had a trickle flowing out of it. They had no way to fix it. One of the front desk clerks had an attitude when I questioned the charges on my account. One night we needed an extra rollout bed and it took an hour and a half to get it, on the flip side...extra towels were delivered in 5 min. The free breakfast is alright but there was always a huge line for the pancake machine, they should at least have two machines for the busy season...but its hard to gripe about free. The dining area was cram packed too. On top of everything else, its noisy in the middle of the night if you don't have a top floor room in the back building. Its not that they were loud, the building, like most cheaply built hotels these days, has very thin walls and floors. For $151.50/night it was the cheapest spot I could find online...and it still wasn't worth it. I've had more pleasant stays at a Studio 6 in Cracktown, USA
The room was very clean and big
Did not have have issues
Nice staff clean facilities comfortable bed easy access
