The staff was helpful and attentive, the hotel's location is terrific, the hotel was quiet, the rooms are nicely decorated, and the wine hour was very tasty. I'd gladly recommend this hotel to family and friends. The bed and pillows could have been more comfortable, but that would not keep me from returning. |

I was lucky enough to get one of their wonderful corner rooms, which was especially comfortable and charming. I met several wonderful couples from all over the world at the evening wine tasting and morning breakfast. It reminded me of the small, excellent hotels I've stayed at in Europe. The staff recommended a nice place for dinner my first night, just a block away, and were very helpful and attentive throughout. I will definitely stay here again! I wish there was more than one small elevator, but understand this is the price you pay for a small, urban hotel. |

The hospitality hour and breakfast are what make this an exception value for money spent. Staff very friendly. Location premo. |

Nice room, nice happy hour Breakfast was the same every day. Also, not enough space for more than 3 people at a time to eat where the food was. |

I've stayed at this hotel many times and are always delighted with the staff, esp Innkeeper Wayne. It is a small quiet inn so do not stay here if you want the hustle & bustle of a big hotel. The inn is in a convenient location for big name shopping. Catch buses, cable cars, trolleys just a block away at Union. |

The staff was very friendly and had great recommendations for local restaurants and sites. It felt like staying in a B & B, but in the heart of the city. The location, price, and accomodations were excellent. The complimentary wine tasting in the evening also provided a great opportunity for the guests to meet and talk. |

The room was quite comfortable and well-decorated. Very quiet hotel, considering that it is in the midst of Union Square and a lot of traffic. |
