we have stayed here before and was not disappointed
The location was nice. It was quiet. The room was huge, the bathroom was huge, too. - unnecessarily so!
It isn't quite what I would call an "inn". Just another motor inn, but that is what you find in that area. No charm, that's for sure. One bar of soap (you had to take it with you to the shower), no tissues. I guess I am used to hotels, but for well over $200 per night, I would expect a little more updated conveniences. There really isn't any alternative in that area with all the foliage tourism, so you can't blame them.
everything was outstanding. the staff is first rate and very friendly. upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite which was an unexpected but very nice touch. the room was perfect and we could really relax there. we particularly enjoyed being away from the rustle of city life. the complementary continental breakfast was perfect. we will stay here again
we had no dislikes
We made a quick weekend trip to Manchester, booking the INN at Willow Pond at the last minute. The actual rate turned out to be 25% less than what I reserved through booking.com which was a very pleasant surprise. The room was clean and large, but a little dated, but generally comfortable and quiet with a view of the mountains across the golf course in the valley. We got amazing advice on hiking options in the Green Mountain forest, including many trails. Each was a pleasant surprise. The lodge was comfortable, with a large pool and a light breakfast. There's also a restaurant on site, but we ended up going into town to eat. Its perhaps a 3 minute drive from the center of town down Rt 7A, which was very quiet on the weekend we were there.
The bed was a little firm, otherwise the room was fine.
the staff is very friendly.they respond quickly to any question or problem we had. very helpful lin suggestions for sight seeing etc.
did no care for the restaurant.background music was too loud, which meant no conversation. the food was just o.k. I expected better. a musty smell hit me as soon as I opened the door, and the décor was confusing???
Staff was very helpful and friendly. The spacious accommodations were great and provided the flexibility we needed. Lovely setting!
The room was extremely comfortable and spacious. The Staff was friendly and responsive to my needs. We were upgraded to a suite which made me even happier. I would definitely stay here again
The only complaint is that the restaurant was closed, and the inn is not very close to restaurants
we got an upgrade the location and the rooms are beautiful. very clean the staff was friendly and helpful/
I did not like eating from paper dishes.
The new manager was very nice.
The room needs some updating. The cushions on the sofa are shot. You sink down onto the framework. The bed mattress was too soft. The continental breakfast could use a little improvement. The scones and the bagels were hard. I guess I expected an inn but it really is just a motel. It wasn't terrible but next time I am in the area I would look to stay somewhere else. The website talked about a restaurant for lunch and dinner but apparently it has been closed for a few years.
Really friendly and helpful reception staff - we were upgraded to a suite which was fantastic. Excellent value for money and such a beautiful location. Lovely old farmhouse and great continental breakfast.
Quiet location, easy to find, not too far from Manchester Center shopping area. Good breakfast in pleasant surroundings
1. Overated and overpriced motel. Should be called "Motel" and not "Inn" 2. Wifi was not available in my room, and the manager blamed the trees for that! 3. Television set is the smallest I have ever seen in a a hotel or motel room. 4. The ceilings are not soundproof and you hear the noise from the upper floor. 5. The comfort of the bed was average and current mattresses should be replaced.
