We thought the price was good and now wonder why it is called America's Best Value Inn. We have stayed at Rodeway Inns and have been very satisfied but we paid less and had better accommodations and those were in bigger cities. I was there for my brother's funeral and was not happy with our room. The room was very cold and it took a long time to warm up. The odor in the whole place was bad; after being there for about 20 minutes we decided it smelled like India food and it was not a good smell to endure. No light by the door no heat in the bathroom, the heat register needed a deflector instead of having the heat blow up into the drapes. We were into a movie on Thursday evening and lost it; must have had dish and the owners changed it; not good! The breakfast left alot to be desired. Frozen waffles most places have a waffle maker. We were the happy with our stay.

I liked the price only. The continental breakfast was adequate. The TV was nice. The room was dirty, especially the carpet. The smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling. The outlet behind the bed did not have a cover on it. Half the lights in the lamps didn't work nor did the outlets. The ceiling in many spots had patchwork repairs, but in the bathroom, it looked like pieces had fallen. No extra lock on door like in usual hotels.

good location, towels were very soft and clean room was small and quite outdated, toilet seat was very worn and nasty and there appeared to be mold starting on bathroom wall

Air conditioning worked, room was quiet Bed was uncomfortable - old mattress; facility was "tired" and worn; was basic and functional - if someone wants a relatively inexpensive place
