Score from 426 reviews Very good
22nd floor Skyline Terrace was beautiful, there are three elevators so I don't know why some people were complaining about the wait time, it takes less than 3 minutes to get to your floor. The hotel is close to everything, Michigan avenue is 2 minutes away, Hancock building is 3 blocks north.
A/C was old and noisy but its bearable. The number of power outlets, I think we only had 1.
The location of the hotel is really in the hub of Chicago.
It was clean, comfortable and right in the middle of downtown Chicago. Perfect location. Nice staff.
Although they didn't have a restaurant in the hotel, there was a Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts right outside the doors along with restaurants galore. They didn't have a pool but did have an outside roof deck that was large and had nice furniture and the views of Chicago were incredible!
Small room for fitnesscenter, but well equipped.
Whole hotel needs an update. Evereything seems a bit old and used.
Location, comfort of bed
Convenient to the heart of Chicago. Very friendly & helpful staff.
The marble floors in the bathroom were permanently spotted. Mold in the corners and paint peeling in the shower.
Location - central, 10 minutes from lake, 20 minutes from ARTIC
WiFi in room is not included Staff at reception was a bit short, but concierge was great.
Boutique environment Very casual Walking distance to streeterville Neighborhood
Corridors are tired and no air conditioning in corridors and elevators
Location is great as well as price. Rooms are a little tight by US standards but were fine for two people.
Running toilet and shower. Basic maintenance here seems easy. housekeeping had to know these were issues to relay the message.
Clean bed linens and towels. Good water pressure in the shower.
Everything else - dirty carpet - dirty wallpaper - room smelled like smoke so I purchased a can of Febreze and sprayed the room which helped after the second day. Hallway carpet and walls dirty.
Everything in the room and incredible location!
The late night clerk seemed a bit rude.
the room is not clean
Location, location, location! Very helpful staff.
Internet access only in lobby and limited to 30 mind per day, no fridge in room, limited access to TV, no movies available for rent.
Access to Michigan Avenue
staff and location
brick wall outside our room that was a minor issure
I liked how close we were to things we wanted to do. Being totally unfamiliar with Chicago when we booked, we had no idea where we would be. A very welcome surprise.
The bed and pillows were ot all that comfortable.
Central location to all the sights. The room was very attractive and clean. The staff was very attentive and friendly.
The fire department is located a couple of blocks from the hotel and sirens are heard all hours of the night.
Location was great!
Minor wallpaper tears and other minor fixes were needed around the hotel. Had a 'worn' look.
The Inn is in a excellent location. Walking distance to almost everything. The beds are comfy and the terrace on the 22nd floor is very nice.
Would of been nice to have a continental breakfast included, although, I understand there is not a kitchen in the hotel.
-Location -Staff was fairly helpful
-Pictures online of the rooms were very deceptive. They looked so luxurious, when in reality, it was a crammed little room with an awful bathroom that smelled like B.O. -I also got charged an extra $50 after I was assured I wouldn't be for using a debit card.
Excellent location and cleanliness. Beautiful hotel.
The rooms do not have sufficient space to accommodate your clothes. They do not have a small refrigerator.
352 dollars a night without free wifi, parking, and swimming pool.
The bathroom in the room was updated and clean. The rooftop sitting area was definitely the best part of our stay.
The hotel was very drab and unkempt. The room looked like a motel and wasn't up to the standard I was expecting from photographs.
