I liked the location
It didnt have a pool
No laundry facilities, not practically set up with 20 odd floors of rooms and only two elevators.
Location that was all.
Old, needs remodeled. Rooms were very small with curtain in the corner as a closet. Rooms were dark with small windows. Heater and air conditioner were extremely loud. Overpriced. Dirty linen from previous guests left in room
Personal is doing good job nd put good effort in get customers happy
Small rooms, really poor cleanlinnes, non functional furniture from mid 60', we were in two in a double bed room and could even not place bags somwhere.
THE LOCATION IS GOOD AND A SANDWICH SHOP NEXT DOOR PLUS ROOM SERVICE
A 14.95 CHARGE FOR WIFI WHILE IN MY ROOM AND ITS FREE IN THE LOBBY THATS BULL SO I SUFFERED WITHOUT IT
Our room was gross..... Pictures online make it look way better then it is. There was mold spots around the tub, no water pressure, and the bed reminded me of something out of a frat house.... Very uncomfortable
Love the location, and the rooftop terrace!
Rooms are old and need updating, and the bed was very uncomfortable
Location Room space
No wifi in the rooms No breakfast
we had to pay extra for wifi
Superb location just off Michigan Ave so perfect for shopping which was the purpose of our trip. Spacious room with dual aspect at the end of the corridor. Don't think all the rooms are as spacious so maybe we were lucky. Friendly reception staff and short walk to good breakfast diners and lots of restaurants.
Ice machine outside our door was noisy at times.
No wifi in the room. Old carpet and bathroom.
I like the location, close the Magnificent mile.
Old outdated building, small elevator, tiny shower, old outdated faucets. Different bill than what was on reservation (almost double), adjusted after bringing up to management the discrepancy (no apologies) lucky I questioned the charges.
The contemporary room is rather on the smaller side but clean. And you can't beat the location, its close to everything!
It would have been great to have a fridge in the room; obviously it's not a big deal but if you're staying in town for a few days your more likely to use it.
I took my seven year old daughter here for her birthday. I had requested when booking to have a room with a view and they definitely delivered! The room was outstanding! I even took a video and pictures to brag to friends! It was also right beside the terrace. We camped out there for a while and watched the amazing city views. I would definitely recommend anyone here!
Small d room
The staff was very friendly and helpful, check in/out was fast and easy.
Bathroom was small and tight quarters for one person to try to get ready for the day. The price per night was expensive for the lack of things included (no wifi, parking, breakfast)
The price quoted by booking.com was incorrect after all the taxes. This added 100 dollars to the bill!!
Very helpful as I left my passport there could not have been more helpful.
The location is beyond excellent! You have unlimited Valet, which is a great thing.
Bathroom was small, room was small.
Location if the hotel.
Elevators were slow, and the bathroom was small.
Excellent location. Attractive lobby and bar. Clean, comfortable room. Nice rooftop seating area - - but we learned about this from other hotel guests. No staff member advised us of this amenity.
1. Desk clerk Hima Patel, who checked us in around 4:00 p.m. on 9-18-14, did not welcome us, did not make eye contact during registration process, was aloof, robotic; gave us impression she could not have cared less that we were customers! 2. At 4:30 a.m. on 9-21-14, a drunk was banging on our door for several minutes, yelling for his friend. When I picked up phone to call desk, phone line was dead! We had no way to contact desk or security (which eventually did show up & escorted drunk away)! 3. My "comment card" to hotel mgr, about these 2 incidents, was not acknowledged -- either while we were still in hotel, or after we returned home. This failure indicates indifference, on part of mgmt., to customer's concerns
Nice old historic hotel. Very small bathroom. No microwave but still liked the closeness to every thing we wanted to do. Walking distance to most attractions. Hard to find at night time and not used to Chicago downtown drivers.... Worth the money.
Parking is the worst. Wifi should be more generous.
Location, friendly staff
Thin walls so a bit noisy at night, room decor a bit tired, wifi only free in lobby
location, room size sleep quality person checking luggage and getting cabs was superior
no free computer access in room only small area in lobby used for computer access no early entry to rooms - even though they were not full the previous night
