The Hotel and the Breakfast Rocked
The bathroom is made for a 5' person
We needed a place to stay while sightseeing in the area. Our room was easy to get to and clean. Check-in was easy and the continental breakfast on Sunday was very nice.
The mattress had what seemed to be a waterproof mattress pad on it making the bed hot and uncomfortable, not to mention it was noisy when changing positions during the night. Also, the shower got lukewarm at best.
The room was nice - ample size. The queen beds were comfortable for a good night's sleep. I liked the 'extra sink' in the bathroom. Your breakfast buffet was marvelous - wide variety and good food! From checking in to leaving, your staff was most courteous and helpful!
Love every thing about!
room, pool (did not swim) location food
We liked everything that we used and will go there again, we didn t use the dinning area so I can t say anything about that but since everything else was great I am sure that was also.
The bed squeeked when turning over not to bad though.
The mattresses were comfortable but the bed creaked a lot and made noise enough to wake up the person next to you.
Rooms could use some updates. Especially, the television.
Comfortable hotel with nice pool.
The microwave didn't work and the tv turned off when I turned off the lights.
AC system did not work will. Rooms were hot. The "night Club" smelled.
Excellent breakfast, loved the vanity outside the bathroom.
Coffee pot in the bathroom
Great location Good service
Rooms large enough for pack & play with room to spare
The staff was great. Chase, the Friday night chef was outstanding and went out of his way to accommodate us. The room was nice and we loved the courtyard and pool areas. The continental breakfast was great too. If we ever come to Kerrville again, we will stay here! Thanks.
Not worth $150/night- very outdated and uncomfortable old creaky bed :/
lovely convention facility and excellently prepared food for the meetings.
the room air conditioner was broken and the room remained hot throughout the night. The hot or cold water continued to stay on long after anyone used either. It was dangerous...you can easily scald yourself. This is a condition that needs to be fixed, but my guess is that it has been this way a long time and will most likely not be addressed.
Walk in the room from the parking lot, but all other times could access via door poolside. Sitting areas around pool & just outside room was very peaceful & lovely.
coke machine didn't work. :-)
The photos were quite deceptive. I would have been happier with my stay if my expectations were either matched by the hotel or if they had more accurately represented the quality of the venue online. I am not terribly picky in hotels, but upon arrival I felt I had been deceived and this soured the rest of my stay. The hotel is quite provincial, and the rooms dingy. At check in there was only one person working and we had to wait ages for her to finish her conversation on the telephone to be helped. Once in our room, I noticed hair in the tub, and a musty smell. There is no central AC, instead there is a window unit, probably contributing to the smell. In the morning, I hoped they might redeem the stay, but breakfast was abominable. Even some of my worst stays have been redeemed by a good breakfast, but alas, it was not to be had.
Beautiful setting, staff were friendly, wifi was EXCELLENT.
Breakfast was not complimentary (unless you had a continental breakfast), but you did get a small discount. The TV in our room had no remote control, so any time you wanted to change the channel or adjust the volume, you had to do so on the side panel of the TV. The receptionist took a little while to figure out how we'd paid even though she had checked us in the previous evening (less than 11 hours prior to our leaving!).
all the staff were fantastic except for elderly lady who checked us in. Also they assigned our rooms and put half of my party in a room that they did not want. I am in a wheelchair and the bathroom was equipped to handle a wheelchair, but the room was too crammed with furniture.
-Free Wifi -Free parking -Good location -Very comfortable
Lack of usable swimming pool
The heater in the room was loud whenever it would turn on and off. Made it impossible to rest. We were going to stay 2 nights and checked out at 5:00 the next morning.
Loved the attention to details in the decor. The staff was great! Breakfast buffet was a wonderful treat.
