Score from 15 reviews Wonderful
The tv reception was less than good. Pictures and sound kept giving out intermittently.
Location to town and transport
Being located in the cottage 2 doors up away from the main building which was quite separate from the main hotel facilities It was very noisy between rooms
Not a lot
If this is, as it claims to be Falmouths finest, Falmouth has serious problems. Put into a distant annexe with a noisy location right on a busy road there are no facilities whatsoever. It is summed up by a 25 ml of shower gel being deemed sufficient for two people for two nights.
It had charm and the staff was friendly and helpful
- Bed was comfortable - Lots of towels - Pool area looked nice - We liked the breakfast at Percy's Place (not included)
- Shampoo and towels etc. were only refilled in case the staff was tipped the same day - Room was clairaudient (we could follow the tv program of the neighbor)
Friendly staff , good wifi
Very helpful front office staff
Can offer a buffet breakfast facility
That it was close to the Woods Hole Ferry for our early morning dash to Martha's Vineyard.
We got there late and had just gotten the suitcases open when the desk clerk asked us to give that room to a family that hadn't made a reservation. We said, "sure"...we understood as parents how everyone with children sometimes need help. SO we moved with me on a crutch and had to go downstairs for the 2nd room. The family saw us moving and neither the staff OR the family said THANK YOU. And when we checked out there was no thanks or even a slight deduction in the bill. We still smile thinking that the family must have been raising some really mean kids to be so mean to people who were helping them out so late at night. Saying thank you is really so easy to do.
Hard time opening door to building.
Bed Linen, towels, etc, good. Rooms clean, in-room entertainment equipment excellent. Pool area nice.
Original room offered was musty, room & reception decor tired, our one experience of Persy's (restaurant) was poor. Pictures from website combined with price led to high expectations, sadly we were most disappointed.
Location Service Friendliness
Cost increase for summer
The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the a/c was one of the quietest wall units I've encountered. We were able to walk to town for dinner. Persey's for breakfast was a wonderful convenience. I'd stay again.
The curtains had pulls and looked cheap. The step down from the tub is super slippery and in an odd plAce. It would be convenient to have an outlet on the bedside table.
THE LOCATION IS GREAT!
BATHROOMS WERE A LITTLE DIRTY.
Road noise spiders In Room
The neighbor noise was very loud -- walls were paper thin - almost embarrassing. Felt the room was overpriced for location -- pouring down rain so we had to drive to ferry shuttle parking lot anyway.
Good location for restaurants shops and ferry services . Staff friendly and helpful.Room cleanliness very good.
Beds super comfortable. Staff helpful and courteous. Pool lovely. Location very convenient. Hotel restaurant fabulous.
Thin walls--could hear guy next door snoring when our AC was not running. Bath in the room needs serious updating: cracked sink, caulking around tub falling apart.
Close to Woods Hole
Old Inns can be clean. That is not the case at the Inn on the Square. If dust could walk the beds would be in the street. Smell !!! Will not go back. Will definitely not recommend. We were suppose to stay 2 nights, we stay 1.
Near some interesting shops and the bike trail. Great breakfast restaurant attached to the Inn. Short ride to downtown.
Nice and quiet. Good location
Great location, really nice rooms very relaxing feel to them. Only stayed the one night so didn't get a chance to utilise all the hotel had to offer. Restaurant on site served great breakfasts
Location was good. Style of building and room was attractive. Great breakfast restaurant . Good amount and sizes of towels.
Staff did not seem knowledgeable about the hotel, restaurants in the area, or what clean means. Toilet was dirty the first day I was there. Accumulation of dust behind the beds on the floor. Tissue paper dispenser seemed to have been filled each day with about 6 tissues instead of a new box.
We liked the bedding.
The cable service was below sub par, everything was dated, the concierge upon arrival was the disheveled and inept.
Location and staff were good.
Very basic. Fine for a night but would not stay longer.
