We traveled for our daughters Air Force graduation and stayed about a week. When we checked in they moved us to a different room to accommodate us. It was a huge room with enought room for all to gather for visiting time. All total there were 4 groups of us and the breakfast was good and we decided that we will always check for these hotels first. Very pleased overall.
House keeping wasn't the best but since we lived there a week it gave something to do. :)
Stained bedspread and very loud toilet
We were greeted by friendly staff. The room was simple but clean and the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly!
Rooms were a little outdated but again for the price it was fine I buy and sell homes so my advice would be to switch out the shower heads with rain soft heads with that many rooms yearly it would save thousands on the water bill and it would be much more environmentally safe
Wifi worked great.
There were no towels in our room when we checked in. There was a nasty bandaid stuck to the headboard of the bed from a previous guest that was not removed. The cable connection was so poor. The room smelled funky. Room was cheaper than others, now I understand why. Not going to stay at a La Quinta again.
not far to go to airforce base...people in area were very military people and nice...the girl behind desk was very pleasant when we came in early and helped us....she was wonderful
dust inch thick around walls...airconditioner you could see outside around it. towels were small and marked not white and wifi was lagging...and friends from had dead cock roaches in batheroom every day....ugghhhh thank god it was not my room because I don't do those...
people living there, hanging out side the rooms all hours of the night, making all kinds of noise and being half dressed.I was very uncomfortable be there and felt threatened by the tenants. I booked room for 4 nights and left after 1
Beds are too small
Had trouble with electrical outlets in one room and bathtub drain problems in the second room. One family member also got bug bites the first night.
This is an affordable hotel if you are looking to save money. It is clean and includes breakfast
The rooms are open to the street, but it is safe area
prices was cheap online and easy t. find
They didnt give enough big towels for at least two people would of been okay
Everything was great our 1st night there they had us stay in a King Room on the 3rd Floor but since I have problems with my knees I asked if I could be moved to a 1st Floor room & the lady at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure I had a 1st floor room. My wife saw a lot of the reviews and wasn't to sure about this hotel but once we got there it was a different story we had a great stay and a great time on this vacation we will definantly be returning.
Bed was good and comfortable
Didn't like the showers, the pillows were horrible and they didnt have clean towels ready for us in the room i had to go to the lo by to get them
Having our room at the end of the building and not in the middle where all the noise is. Having plenty of ice available at the ice machine. Being able to park where I could see my vehicle.
Didn't like having only one bed (king) and having our six year old grand-daughter sleeping with us. Didn't like the continental breakfast that closes at 9:30, then not being able to get what was available because of all the kids jumping in front of me taking all they could carry. Didn't like having to wait till after 5:00 p.m. for housekeeping to show up and having to leave the room while they empty the filthy trash cans that have no liners, then the trash cans are not cleaned. Cannot believe they do not have a vacuum, THEY USE BROOMS, and only sweep what they see. There are no mops to clean the restrooms floors, do not clean the showers or tubs. Be sure to bring your own TV antenna because the DISH does not work. I have stayed at other LQ's in SA, Austin and other cities in other states that were excellent with no complaints. But this one just doesn't measure up to the others. I will continue to book at LQ but I will read the reviews before I book.
The property is ancient and nothing works. Had to go to front desk every day to get towels. Apparently they are not part of the room clean up. It doesn't appear the outdoor walkways have ever been cleaned. Soda, gum and various "other" stuff everywhere.
STAFF WAS HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS.
ROOM CARPET WAS VERY DIRTY .
We spend one day without towels. In the front desk told me that they run out of cleans towels, I asked for towels by phone but after an hour of waiting I went directly to the front desk I until then the lady told me they didn't have any clean towels.
There were never enough towels, we had to go get our own each day and some days we had to wait because they were not clean. Not sure it the problem is too little staff or not enough towels and other room amenities. But the employees were friendly and doing their best with what they had
Price was too high for quality of facility. No towels when returned to the room. Air conditioner didn't work good. Toilet and sink not clean.
It smelled like mold and smoke. There was a pile of laundry sitting outside our room door, which wasn't very pleasant, the room was very small and over priced and when I booked, it was false advertisement on the way the room looked. Very dissatisfied and discouraged.
We were given a room that was already occupied and had to change. Our room smelled like mildew and poop the whole time! On top of that the first night our toilet overflowed! The housekeeping is horrible and need some classes on how to clean a room!!!
Smelled horrible and was not worth the money. Spend the extra few bucks to have a better stay somewhere else.
Our room was not ready when we arrived at 5p.m.-we had to wait. We had difficulty opening our door-even after 2nd key. No safety handles in place around tub or commode.
