The location was great, beautiful street close to everything. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was smallish but very well appointed with a luxury feel.

Perfect location close to 6th dining and music scene. Bed was very comfortable and staff was helpful and friendly. Room was a little small. Walls between rooms were thin and you could hear what was going on in the other room.

The room was large and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, particularly the Valet Service people. They were great. The location was fantastic because the Texas Book Festival was very close and there were lots of restaurants within walking distance. The shower was terrible. The shower head faced the shower door and got water all over the floor. The shower head was about fifty years old - very old school - and wasn't very good. There should be a bath tub in the room too, as children couldn't use that shower if they needed to. The shower head didn't move nor change the flow of water. For a very expensive hotel, I was surprised that, although the bathroom was spacious, it wasn't very modernized. Also the television was from the 1980's. Honestly, even Days Inn hotels provide flat screens that turn so a person can watch TV in bed late at night. This TV was small, didn't turn towards the bed, and was terrible to watch. The picture was fuzzy and terrible. It was very disappointing to see that the modern things that every luxury and chain hotel in the country has weren't in the InterContinental in Austin, TX, where many high-profile people stay. And I paid an additional cost for a Deluxe King Room where I expected a lot more.

Location, that time it was not crowded Restaurant with congress view -quiet - rooms small but cozy - looks old and it is old, I am not fun of 30-40th stile but that how rooms and hall look like - no free WIFI -holey Old linen . That was scary , because last time I've seen such at hostel 10$/ day but not 4*hotel -valet parking only and I think over priced - even we asked twice ( at booking and upon the arrival) we got nice garage view from window -

Great location in Austin, and the second floor bar/deck is a relaxing place to have a late afternoon drink. Staff was not overly friendly. I package that had been delivered there, to our attention, several days ahead of our arrival was not found till 24 hrs after our checkin.
