Staff were really nice and helpful. The hotel is well-located, from the top of the restaurant (Top of the Mark) you could experience an awesome view of the city. In addition the hotel is very comfortable and clean. Internet is not included in the tax, if you have to use just a minute, you will have to pay for 24 hours, which does not fit for most travellers - who spend the whole day outside. |

The fact that the reservation clerk offered a room with a better view than appeared on his data base. The view was great! Everyone, even the housekeeping service were very friendly. Comfortable beds. Roomy closet. Hotel has fantastic location - Nob Hill! Bathroom quite small. Switch for fan and make up lights in bathroom didn't work. |

This hotel is a wonderful San Francisco classic and staying there is an experience not to be missed. The ambiance is warm and quietly elegant. The hotel's views and historic location atop Nob Hill are unbeatable. Watch the sunset from the Top of the Mark and listen to the cheerful clang of the cable cars from your room and you wil never forget this place! |

The atmosphere was comfortable and the room was quaint yet tasteful. The views at the Top of the Mark are spectacular at night. The street noice was a little loud |

Nice clean room and great location. Easy downhill walk to both Union Square as well as Fisherman's Wharf. Rooms were well-cleaned each day and hotel was quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful with local directions. Hotel lobby was beautiful and nice restaurant / bar on the top floor. The batteries in our remote were dead, the batteries for the in-room safe were dead, wierd sounds of banging pipes from the bathroom for an hour one day. Were charged $13 for long distance calls that were never connected. When I checked in they confirmed that the hotel had been charged to my visa, but when I checked out they said it had not been charged, so I had to wait until we could figure it out so I missed my subway, and I had to pay for a door-to-door taxi to make my flight. |

The outside staff, valet, was friendly The room we stayed in smelled sooo bad. The matress was worn out. The pillows was dirty and the noise from the street was loud. No sound barrier between the rooms and the passage. Worst hotel. The breakfast buffet was all cold. |

The comfort of the room and the many movies & tv shows available to watch on their Pay-Per-View. The charge to use the Internet in the hotel's Business Centre was an exhorbant $10 for 20 minutes (or $30 an hour!!). This was a joke & I refused to use it. An internet shop 3 blocks away charged $7.50 per hour. |

The Mark Hopkins was a great find. Nob Hill location away from the tenderloin area, which can be slightly seedy area. Recommend this hotel for comfort and luxury,location. Clean rooms, helpfull staff |

The bed was meag comfy Noises from the plumbing- I wouldn't normally comment and thought others were perhaps exaggerating but it sounded and like an earthquake in my room! The walls were vibrating and lights shaking when other folks were using their shower in the rooms above. Not good. |

apprezzabile vista, buona posizione per raggiungere velocemente il centro, interni e rifiniture di lusso. Ottima biancheria di qualita'. Benche' in camera ci fosse un menu' con cucina internazionale relativo al ristorante all'ultimo piano dell'hotel, lo stesso non era in funzione da mesi. Se si arriva stanchi e si fa' conto di mangiare in hotel si riamane male. |

朝食バイキングブッフェが安くて、品ぞろえが良く大変美味しい。又、高い位置のレストランがゆえ、オーシャ- ンビューを背景に、サンフランシスコらしい雰囲気を味わえて最高です！ 又ベッドが大変心地良かった！ 1階でコーヒーなどお茶が飲めるようになっていたら最高です。1階ロビーは打ち合わせをするなど、また待ち- 合わせに使うなど利用度が高いので、そこでコーヒーなどお茶が飲めるようであればもっといいかもしれないと- 思いました。 |

Im Hotel haben wir, außer der hervorragenden Bar, keine Restaurants gefunden. Und leider gibt es in der Nähe, außer einem hervorragenden aber kleinen italienischen Restaurant auch keine Gastronomie. |
