This towering historic landmark on Nob Hill features a top-floor restaurant with beautiful views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. Cable car stops are just outside the hotel. the room and bath upon arrival at 2:45 pm i was told my room is not ready yet and because i requested to be with my (adult)children on same floor i will have to wait.when my room was ready,I was given one adjoining room with my children (which i did not ask for) on the 4th floor and the 3rd room was on the 14th floor.when I askedhow come i was told i asked for an adjoining room and there is nothing the hotel can do

Just the city it self I payed for the Internet with my reservations and in the hotel they sad no !! And I was in a conference and I must use the Internet but they sad if you need it you will have to pay fo it. 2- I payed a deposit when I arrived $600 and until today they did not return it back to me.

The staff was exceptional! Friendly, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and convenient. Room service warmed up dessert for us from another restaurant! Close to everything but just above the bustle enough to be a quiet, picturesque spot. Will return!

The staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous. Everyone! I love being up at the Top of the Mark, it's my favorite spot in sf. The smell in the room initially was a bit rancid, I believe they had cleaned the carpet. It took a few days to go away with the window kept open.

The location is the best in town! Food is excellent! Even a simple salad delivered as a room service is delicious and absolutely fresh. The restaurant on the last floor has beautiful views od the city and Cathedral, food and drinks are lovely. The room was amazing, perfect bed and very comfortable. Price of valet park is RIDICULOUS!!!! 69 dolares per night! Very disappointed with that. I would recommend a better shower since the one in our room was old and had just few drops of water running, not the kind of shower for a great hotel. Also the gym need more treadmill since most of the guests do exercise themselves in the morning

Location Due to an emergency I left a day earlier after 3 days and was charged a penalty of $50. I paid normal rates and will never return to this hotel chain ever again.

I liked the overall comfort and relaxation the hotel has offered, unlike other busy convention hotels. The only thing that bothered me a little was their elevators. It just seemed to take a long time to get one down to the lobby. And, they also appeared to operate one at a time.

Great location great views room was nice and clean staff polite Bathroom very small, cramped..... Breakfast expensive, did not feel it was a good value for what we had.... Check in staff polite, not warm/welcoming, did not ask if we needed any local info, we had to ask......did not have enough creamer for coffee in the room...elevators so crowded on check out that we finally took the stairs with our bags...fee for parking for guests was outrageous

nice architecture, convenient location Inattention from staff. No one greeted us on arrival or offered to help with baggage. Getting a second bathrobe delivered to the room took one hour and three phone calls. General lack of friendliness. Predatory and inappropriate extra charges for wifi internet access. The much touted "Top of the Mark" bar was frayed on the edges and clearly had seen better days; astonishingly it closes shortly after 11.00 pm. This does not really feel like a top-tier hotel.

Nice classic hotel. Good service, clean. Nice brunch in Top of the Mark. Fee for overnight parking excessive, no free wifi in room, location a little difficult to access walking due to hills in the area.

Rooms were lovely, beds extremely comfortable, very clean, great views, fabulous location, room service quick and friendly. You had to pay $12 per 24 hours to use Wifi, or $12 per 20 minutes to use the computer in the lobby. Personally when you are paying a lot of money for a top quality hotel I would expect to get this free.

The friendly guys at the front of the hotel who would get us a cab - great personalities. I requested a room with a view and the staff did their best to accommodate. Our bed in room 1430 was uncomfortable, so much so, I couldnt wait to leave it for my own bed at home. I dont remeber the last time i had an uncomfortable sleep in a hotel bed. The last time i stayed the bed was fine, but this bed dipped in the middle, too soft, the pillows were weird in the sense that they seem to have no consistency. Very disappointing. The towels were too small. There were two of us staying in the room and only two bath towels and two hand towels were available, in addition i had to request slippers and a robe, which are usually in the closet upon arrival. As a result, i will most likely think twice about using this hotel again and for this reason i would most likely not recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Room was nice and comfortable. Reserved a room with two beds but had to argue with attendant for 15 minutes to get one. He initially said there weren’t any available. But we were checking in early 4:00pm and new he was lying. We eventually got one. Elevators are small. Drinks at the top of the Mark to pricy. A bottle of water in the room was priced at $6.50.

Great views, ok breakfast buffet, Top of the Mark ambience. No sign of bar/coffee service downstairs other than in the club lounge which cost $60 per day for a couple.
