On Boston's historic waterfront, the Seaport Hotel features on-site dining and modern rooms with a flat-screen TV. The Silver Line Bus Station is conveniently located next to the hotel.

This elegant hotel is in the historic Ames building in downtown Boston, 2 miles from the Back Bay area. It features a 24-hour fitness center. Cable TV and a minibar are found in all rooms at the Ames....

Staffs there always go out of their way to help accommodate our requests. They are all nice and caring.
I can think of non....
Concierge was very helpful, check in staff were friendly and the room service was excellent.
I am not a fan of hotels that charge for WiFi.
The hotel location was great. The hotel itself was fabulous.
The service in the two restaurants was terrible. We had dinner at night, breakfast in the morning both had an awful staff.
The concierge guy was great. The doorman/porter was good, so was the staff in the garage.
Bad Spa, though expensive
great location and friendly staff
the weather in January
very close to the South Station so catching the ACELA to NYC was easy. staff was helpful and friendly.
the floors in the lobby are very smooth and slick. in tracking in snow I slipped and fell. having more ways to dry off wet boots would be a very good idea.
Room was beautiful. Staff was very nice.
I was originally given keys to a room that was occupied and the guest answered the door. I felt more embarrassed than annoyed.
Loved the elegant, high-end feel of the building, lobby, bar, restaurants. Staff were friendly, courteous and always smiling. Room wasn't ready when we arrived, but we were given free drinks at the bar while we waited (a short wait). Room was clean, spacious, well maintained. Bathroom was stunning! Pool area and gym were top-notch. Locker rooms and steam room were like being at a spa—oh wait, It was a spa! The amenities were amazing! Pool could have been warmer, but it was nice all the same. The steam room was my absolute favorite. Well located—a 2 minute walk to South Station and easy walk into Downtown Chintatown, Quincy Market and the North End. Overall, it is a lovely property and I would stay again.
The beds were not very comfortable for such an elegant property—mattress was thin and hard. I was expecting something a little more luxurious and plush. Think they need an update in that department. Had a bit of a problem with noise from above—though I don't think the hotel had much control over the kid relentlessly jumping from bed to floor above us. They responded promptly when I called about it and offered to change my room. One teeny pet-peeve was the lack of stir-sticks for coffee or tea. All of the items were in place to make a cup, but nothing to stir with—4 days in a row. Very strange necessity to overlook.
the room and bathroom setup very impressive
The breakfast very dry and has no taste
I felt very welcome when I checked myself in. It happened to be me and my boyfriends first anniversary and when I told this, the receptionist told me that he will try to find a nice room for us. And yes he did- we had an amazing corner room with a beautiful view! And we already decided that since we want to see how it is in the summer, we will celebrate our 1,5-years anniversary by booking the room again in June. The hotel and the friendly staff really impressed us- we both live in Boston but now we are trying to come up with excuses why we should book a room in the hotel again! Good job!
Great location, easy to get to from South Station, walking distance to north end and Faneiul Hall. Beautiful hotel.
The staff were fantastic - courteous, helpful and friendly. The separate shower was one of the best I have had anywhere and there was a bath too with upmarket and generous toiletries. You never had to wait for a lift, the hotel was spotlessly clean and everything worked.I joined the IHG rewards club before our stay so got free wifi and would suggest everyone does that otherwisenearly $20 a day. We will certainly stay here again and other Intercontinental Hotels.
Suggest don't eat in the restaurant in the hotel - Miel. Or certainly not on a Sunday night. Great staff but we have had better food. Perhaps we were just unlucky.
Beautiful hotel. Very nice staff. Food good.
Wish there were a hot tub by pool and a movie channel for kids. Also for some reason the coffee in the room and at breakfast was horrible.
Great location for business meetings.
One of the reason I booked the hotel was for its gym. However I had a very bad experience with the receptionist. I asked for assistance as it was my first time using it, for guidance on lockers, towels etc. He was extremely ruse and borderline racist.
I loved traveling from the airport to the hotel by water taxi. The location was incredible. Everyone was extremely helpful and patient with every question we had. The hotel is beautiful and the city view is lovely. I highly recommend the milk and cookies from room service. Delicious
That we couldn't stay longer and had to come back to Texas.
Everything the great location so near to everything The helpful staff
There was nothing we didn't like apart from the bar prices
12th floor club facilities are excellent. Gym is very spacious and well equipped.
Getting served in the atrium bar - very slow.
The staff at this hotel could not have been nicer and the location close to the subway makes sightseeing and travel to/from airport very convenient. I would definitely stay here on my next visit to Boston.
Was everything a top class hotel should be.
But was very expensive
Everything is great!
its location very confortable great stay
unaccustomed to have the breakfast included in the package room- be careful with the bill before paying
The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the price of the rooms were too high for the comfort!
Location - short (15 min) walk to Quincy market. Super-comfortable bed, super-clean windows (on the 12th floor, I think it was), good view of the city. Excellent noise-free air-con (it was almost 30°C outside). Great bar in the lobby.
They were fully booked on the day I wanted to return! Oh, please get rid of the outdated minibar and install a fridge! Nobody uses them...
