The staff was very helpful and the location was excellent
The only suggestion my wife had is if they could offer a different size pillow. One that was not as thick for a choice would have been better for her. Nevertheless she slept very well!
The staff here and the accommodations were exceptional. From the time we stepped out of our car to the time we left, the thoughtful staff made us feel special.
Spa staff were not as attentive as the rest of the staff I met with- made several errors with my booking. Great location if you are working or need to be close to the financial district

What I paid for food was ridiculous for the portions you get, & wasn't that good either. There was a leg missing from one of the corners of my bed. The bedding is heavy & uncomfortable. There was some misunderstandings due to some of the employees not understand a single word of English. The pool is so tiny, & we had the pleasure of dealing with unsupervised kids the whole time.
The staff was great, they were really nice & helped out a lot.

The beds were not very comfortable for such an elegant property—mattress was thin and hard. I was expecting something a little more luxurious and plush. Think they need an update in that department. Had a bit of a problem with noise from above—though I don't think the hotel had much control over the kid relentlessly jumping from bed to floor above us. They responded promptly when I called about it and offered to change my room. One teeny pet-peeve was the lack of stir-sticks for coffee or tea. All of the items were in place to make a cup, but nothing to stir with—4 days in a row. Very strange necessity to overlook.
Loved the elegant, high-end feel of the building, lobby, bar, restaurants. Staff were friendly, courteous and always smiling. Room wasn't ready when we arrived, but we were given free drinks at the bar while we waited (a short wait). Room was clean, spacious, well maintained. Bathroom was stunning! Pool area and gym were top-notch. Locker rooms and steam room were like being at a spa—oh wait, It was a spa! The amenities were amazing! Pool could have been warmer, but it was nice all the same. The steam room was my absolute favorite. Well located—a 2 minute walk to South Station and easy walk into Downtown Chintatown, Quincy Market and the North End. Overall, it is a lovely property and I would stay again.

I felt very welcome when I checked myself in. It happened to be me and my boyfriends first anniversary and when I told this, the receptionist told me that he will try to find a nice room for us. And yes he did- we had an amazing corner room with a beautiful view! And we already decided that since we want to see how it is in the summer, we will celebrate our 1,5-years anniversary by booking the room again in June. The hotel and the friendly staff really impressed us- we both live in Boston but now we are trying to come up with excuses why we should book a room in the hotel again! Good job!

Suggest don't eat in the restaurant in the hotel - Miel. Or certainly not on a Sunday night. Great staff but we have had better food. Perhaps we were just unlucky.
The staff were fantastic - courteous, helpful and friendly. The separate shower was one of the best I have had anywhere and there was a bath too with upmarket and generous toiletries. You never had to wait for a lift, the hotel was spotlessly clean and everything worked.I joined the IHG rewards club before our stay so got free wifi and would suggest everyone does that otherwisenearly $20 a day. We will certainly stay here again and other Intercontinental Hotels.
Wish there were a hot tub by pool and a movie channel for kids. Also for some reason the coffee in the room and at breakfast was horrible.

One of the reason I booked the hotel was for its gym. However I had a very bad experience with the receptionist. I asked for assistance as it was my first time using it, for guidance on lockers, towels etc. He was extremely ruse and borderline racist.

I loved traveling from the airport to the hotel by water taxi. The location was incredible. Everyone was extremely helpful and patient with every question we had. The hotel is beautiful and the city view is lovely. I highly recommend the milk and cookies from room service. Delicious
