Everything in the hotel was excellent (location, room service, cleanliness of room, etc.)
We had dinner at MJ STeakhouse. The service was excellent but we had a bad experience. We let the staff know that my wife had seafood allergy (there's a lot of seafood in the restaurant) and, though she did not eat seafood at all, she had an allergy reaction after dinner and she spent a very bad night.
our room wasn"t ready when we got there. We didn"t have an hour at least to be ready for the Crum wedding party that was there. We were offered a different room then what we booked.
Loved the renovated room, the bed, the view, the robes and the wine bar and Michael Jordan steakhouse
That you could walk to just about everything.
The rooms were too small
She liked everything
The room wasn't the one I saw on line. I asked at the front desk and showed the picture, she informed me since I used a third party basically you get whats left. They just promise you a room.
Pool is amazing... we stay here every time and the kids love
comfortable bed quiet rooms curb service
shower head - - not very forceful
I loved the fact that the hotel was a good price for staying Michigan Ave. I visit Chicago a weekend every couple of months and this is by far the best hotel I've stayed in. Also loved Michael Jordan's Steakhouse, worth going back!
I didn't like that it took about an hour to check in because the hotel did not have my booking so I had to go through a long process to show them I had a confirmed booking and all I got for being patient was a free small bottle of water and two macaroons...would have been great to get a discount on the $67 a night valet parking or free wifi.
I have an unexplained $125.00 charge. I contacted them was put on hold over 30 given a complaint # and told I would hear back in 48 hours. Nothing at all. Now it takes about 15 seconds to talk to someone who can take your money. The facility was nice the price was fair. So your probably ok if you manage to escape some randomn charge. I'll be handling this dispute through my bank and that's 30 bucks so I doubt Ill be back unless some effort is taken on there part to explain and fix the issue
The location, the great view from our room. Nice fitness and pool area.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The room was rather small. The price for hotel parking was very steep.
Good location Beautiful foyer Restaurant was great
Poor poor customer service Staff is unconcerned
Location and friendliness of the staff
All was great!
Parking was 67.00 thats crazy
Staff was very helpful, food was great and location couldnt have been better!
The staff tried their best to accommodate the issue but only the following day.
I booked a room with two beds but when we arrived they didn't have a room with two beds even though I had called the day before and they to,d me I had a room with two beds. They put us in a room and gave us a roll away bed but there wasn't really room in the room for a roll away. That was frustrating.
I liked the hotel. Overall a great hotel and staff.
I was told that I got the gym for free when I arrived and after using the gym I got charged. Was not happy to see that. Also when room was cleaned we did not get new towels.
Good overall experience
Would have liked to had faster service at front desk.
The Location The large pool art deco
Very noisy heating system. I had to shut it down even if the outsite temperature was -18 degree centigrade.
Aww staff Great location
1) we paid wifi and does't work, only on one divace - second and laptop doesn't. Heater in the room is sooooo toooo loud. We had to turn off over the night, because we can't slept - in the morning was in the room only 62F and around the window frames were ice!!!
I didnt like that it cost $65 to oark my car over night.
Not enough staff working. Waited over 20 minutes to check in with only one person working the front desk. Checked in at 5:00 and the room was still not ready.
I liked the older part of the hotel verses the newer. It was a classy hotel.
The only part I didn't like was the wait at the front desk checking in or to ask questions always a wait.
Excellent location and facility. The staff and accommodations were fantastic. What a great old art deco building with a great bar and restaurants.
Nice size room
No dresser to put clothes away, only a closet
