The staff were very helpful and friendly. I loved the bar and restaurant food. Also the Starbucks attached was an added bonus! Will definitely come back again soon!
Bathroom could be a lot cleaner . Rooms are small fit the price. You have to pay for wifi
Comfortable beds , great location , friendly staff. Starbucks on site.
room was cramped but clean
great location walking distance to most attractions close to river. dome on roof lights at night which made it easy to spot when trying to find your way back. great pool
I do not like being charged $125.00 at check in for charges I may occur. They state that they will remove it upon check out, but the bank may not release it for three days. Very
I liked that we were steps away from great shopping, and restaurants.
The bed was wonderful! And I thought overall a great value considering location and style of the hotel.
Only complaint that I had is that there is not a microwave in the room to heat/reheat food.
The location was perfect for our stay and the staff was wonderful.
Moquette much too old and bad Always in humid climate
Swimming pool. Architecture
The shower was a corner shower..not that spacious as we are tall. I found it a bit awkward. Parking is crazy expensive. $67 for one night. And being a smoker I found it inconvienient that they do not provide a smoking area which some of the other hotels in the area do. I stayed on the 21st floor and had to go all the way down to the front door to have a cigarette.
Loved the location. Clean and spacious room. Giant flat screen. Requested a room with a good view thru email and was accomadated. Went for a birthday and mentioned that in my email..Giant piece of the most delish 10 layer chocolate cake with whipped cream waiting for us in our room upon arrival. It was awesome!
The pool is fabulous! The food was surprisingly good.
Deluxe king room on 20th floor had view of Lake Michigan from one window and the Chicago River from the other. Comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom, excellent huevos rancheros for breakfast.
No free wifi for the room price charged is more 1995 than 2015.
Great location and good on-site facilities. Friendly staff and spacious room.
Everything was nice
It would've been nice if the pool facility invested in more pool equipment for kids since the pool is so deep, such as noodles.
Location and checkin services was fantastic.
Breakfast was amazing!
Concierge was very unfriendly and inefficient. We had to stand in line for 15 min to get one small information. Others should have stepped in to help waiting guests.
Breakfast was excellent and maid service was very commendable and timely
Excellent Location and a great Hotel!
Parking very expensive. Safe in room did not work & had to be replaced.
Original room had bathroom leak so we had to switch rooms. First room very small. New room was renovated & much larger. Staff was good about laundering clothes wet from leak.
The hotel staff was wonderful, from the bell men to housekeeping! Thank you for the great t ime in Chicago!
Beds were too small
Great location and price
Paid almost as much for parking as the room!
Keep up the good work.
Dining options did not have a combination of interest and healthfulness I would have prefered when I needed a quick dinner between meetings. The Steakhouse is fantastic but bathed in duck fat :( .
It was a compact room but with all the amenities I needed for a business trip. The staff was gracious, as I would expect at the Intercontinental. The location is fantastic. I will stay again if I can keep obtaining a value-rate.
The only option of valet parking for $67USD for one night
Location, cleanliness, historic atmosphere and the pool
We had dinner at MJ STeakhouse. The service was excellent but we had a bad experience. We let the staff know that my wife had seafood allergy (there's a lot of seafood in the restaurant) and, though she did not eat seafood at all, she had an allergy reaction after dinner and she spent a very bad night.
Everything in the hotel was excellent (location, room service, cleanliness of room, etc.)
