    Emergency vihcals sirens were a bit noisy more soud proofing in the rooms will do a grate deal to quite sleep.

    I love this property and have stayed here multiple times.

    Tiny room, felt like an upscale Holiday Inn. Never received such a small room at Intercontinental before. Considering that I paid $250/night, poor value.

    Could not find the reservation! Had charged credit card three weeks earlier. Charged for the same room on three different credit cards. Were very difficult to work with in trying to work out situation. It took two hours to just check in. Were very inhospitable and bordered on harassment when my granddaughter tried to check in. Three days later still trying to sort out the problem with no apology or compensation!!! Would never recommend this hotel!

    Dirty Towels were hanging on the back of the door upon arrival to our room Requests for Turn Down Service never happened

    The location was perfect! We were able to walk to everything we wanted to visit. The staff at reception were always courteous and helpful. Michael recommended that we stay I. A higher room when we had the option. We had a room on the 30th floor and were able to see the fireworks from our window. It was a quiet corner room and th extra space was great. Concierge were able to assist us in checking in online for our next flight when we were having issues. Nothing was too much trouble. Great stay, great value. Would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

    Location was excellent! Staff was great! Bed was comfortable!

    Room was hot with AC on high. Room had cigar wrappers on the floor. Had a live cockroach on the wall, which almost made us leave, but we paid $250 for the night and it was late.

    The pool is interesting with its old style from "twenties" I believe. Very cool and the workout area very nice. Great area of Chicago within walking distance to most Mag Mile sights. Very nice staff.

    We have arrived to intercontinental hotel in michigan avenue chicago in 27th of june arpund 7 pm. We already booked a double queen bed room for 2 nights. We made the booking through booking.com upon check in we 8nformed the receptionist (jessica) that we might extend for one more night. At 11 pm we contacted the front desk for a laundry servic, and then the lady came to the room to pickup the laundry. I had explain tk her exactly what I need to be done as express service and what is not. She said the express laundry will be ready at 9 am, again after 10 minutes I recived a call from the laundry guy to re confirm which one ti be done as a express service, and I have emphasized that I need it to be ready at 9 am as they inform me. In the morning the next day, had received a call from the laundry lady at 9:15 am, she was telling me that my clothes will not be ready till after 4 hours because no body has clean my clothes yet, and she was trying to explain to me how is the laundry process going on. After we informed the front desk (Elaijah) about our complain and we are in short vacation and we supposed to have an early tour in chicago but our plan rescheduled and canceled as a result of their mistake. He said they (will pay) for it. In 28 june around 11 pm, I called the front desk to extend one more night. 29 june at 10:30 am again I informed the front desk (jessica) for extending my accommodation for one more night. After a long day we came back to the hotel at 6:40 pm and the roon key were not working, we get down to the front desk (christian nieves) telling us that there is no reservation and we were supposed to checkout. All our stuff and luggage still in the room.we asked them again for the fourth time we will extend for o e more night, then he gave us a diiferent night rate other than the rates was given us. At 7:15 we get back into the room which was not cleaned although the make room sign was on.

    Very clean, very classy, very friendly! Fast check in. Excellent proximity to many attractions and hot spots downtown. Starbucks in lobby was a major plus for mornings!!

    Always like to stay here when in Chicago due to location and the the hotel overall. Discovered Eno, the wine bar, and am looking forward to visiting it again.

    The location is absolutely perfect for exploring downtown Chicago! It is a historic building and the swimming pool on the 13th floor is worth a visit on its own - Old Chicago grandeur.

    Paid-for wifi in a top hotel like this is a bit of a cheap shot - you can tell that it is aimed at the corporate traveller - made worse but the fact that it didn't work properly. The costs were refunded - thank you the reception team. Thank goodness for Starbucks on the ground floor but I would have preferred to have proper access in my room.

    Hotel is beautiful, especially the Historic rooms. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. The location is exceptional - love Michigan Avenue and its easy access to beautiful stores, restaurants; and, if you want to venture further out, the cabs, buses and trains are right there.     Location excellent and the staff are well trained and polite

    The room furniture is too large in size as compared to the room and its quality is beneath you. The space for clothes and luggage is too small. Also the minibar fridge has no space to keep anything refrigerated.
