Wifi didn't work
We were upgraded to a suite which was excellent, plenty of space. The hotel is within walking distance of the French Quarter.
That it didn't had breakfast.
The location it is very close to the french quater.
Housekeeping forgot towels one day. Requested new once and it took over 1 hr to get them
Clean, high-end hotel, perfect for business travelers, in great location close to French Quarter but in quiet neighborhood. Room service food was excellent.
If they allow idiots who can't handle their drink to rampage around the corridors they should sound insulate the guest room walls. The men working the bar need a sense of humour transplant.
Both the Room cleaning and restaurant staff were great. Brandy (the woman not the drink) who worked the bar was excellent
The people next door
They charged $75 per person to use the viewing stand. Huge cockroach in hallway for 3 days. Tried to charge me for mini bar items that I didn't get.
On the parade route. Viewing stand.
Made to feel second rate by the barman when he told me I was occupying "prime real estate" during Mardi Gras and not drinking what others were, nor as much. Check in staff also made little or no effort to inform me of the goings on during Mardi Gras they even forgot to give me wrist bands to let me back in the hotel.
Restaurant food was good. Variety, service and taste. Coffee at the bar was excellent. Location (esp during Mardi Gras) was brilliant. Concierge was also brilliant.
excellant accommodations for Mardi Gras. Purchase your parade stand tickets right from the hotel. Easy walking distance to the French quarter
Enjoyed how comfortable it was and it was right in front of the mardi gras route
I booked on booking.com a room with two double beds . When I went to check in I was told the room would only have a king size bed. I explained that was not what I wanted and had I known I wouldn't of booked the hotel stay.
On the parade route
Booked the room for 2 adults and 2 children (up to 19) with breakfast but at check in, was told that breakfast is only for two. Had to speak to the manager next day to get it corrected. Highly recommend having a print out of the booking confirmation with you. The rooms were very clean but the AC vent and plumbing was noisy. The pool was under repair but it was not mentioned at the time of booking. A big disappointment since the kids were looking forward to it. The hotel just didn't seem to live up to the standard of other similarly priced hotels.
Walking distance to French quarter and other attractions, located next to the street car line and taxi stand right in front of the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, enjoyed the full breakfast.
Hotel was awesome
Everything was excellent
There's nothing about this hotel I did not like
I love the decorations of the lobby. The rooms it self a 10. I have stayed in many hotels in New Orleans. This one has been sold. Will stay there in just a few weeks from now.
Location Room Service
First room was not clean. Second room was cleaner but missing stuff from mini bar and had no balcony. Overall I enjoyed our night but was a little disappointed.
Decor and staff was great.
Every thing else is miserable !! Unprofessional front desk Unqualified managers Hotel under renovation !!! It's a shame to put intercontinental on this building
Asked for a quiet room specifically and received a room on the streetcar line. Beds need more than two tiny pillows Had to ask for bathrobes
Wi fi connection
Location and room
That they were under renovations.
That it was so close to Bourbon St.
Construction going on, very loud, they charged my credit card twice so I couldn't use it for anything.
Did not have a room for us even tho we had reservations for 2 months. Check in receptionist was very rude and never apologized for us not having a room available. Waited forever and were finally told they would put a rush order into clean a room and would call us by 4pm when it was ready. After 6pm we finally called them and they had no explanation to why we were never called bc it had been ready. Tried to speak to the manager but he was too busy. Had to call twice to get our luggage to our room. Was a bad first day! Rest of the stay was fine.
entrance Looks like entrance of a store no lobby at the ground floor
Size of the room
I wasn't advised that this property was under renovation during my time of stay. Jack hammering over my room started at 8 am on Saturday morning and lasted all day, til 4:30. Worst hotel experience ever in New Orleans.
Service was mediocre and health club was dated. Entry under construction.
The room was very nice - recently renovated.
