By extending Out stay another three days Our room is the whole day not clean
free wifi to ihg member
very noisy from the 8th avenue at night even at 17th floor. bell man booked a 120 dollar taxi for us to newark airport which i dont think it needs that much. only one pajama for two of us at first and second night and the only one disappeared in the rest two days. the worst thing is full of dust in the coffee maker which i believe it has not been used and cleaned more than 1 year
the bathroom was nice, clean and big
the air freshener used in the reception area was very bad. the bed was too soft and the blanket had no cover around it.
Location Comfortable bed Good views
Dated facilities No access to bar area during lunch die to a conference Limited facilities Paid wifi Average breakfast
Ideal location & excellent house keeping
When you are paying $690 a night wifi should be complimentary. If hotels charging $65 a night can offer complimentary wifi - the Intercontinental can. Computers in the business centre past their use by date.
Everything in the hotel
The wifi is not free
I tried to extend my stay thru booking .com and was told i could not. Seems silly when the hotel was not full and didn't know why I couldn't extend
Stayed here for a week during the New York Marathon. I was there to cheer on a runner. Nice central location and a block away (2 minutes’ walk) to Time Square. I had booked a room with a view not knowing what the view will be as New York is full of high rises. I got a room on the 29th floor facing Time Square direction. The view was fantastic. I could just see the flashing lights down the road to Time Square. I looked out to a stack of high rise building and great light show from the office buildings. I love skyscrapers so it didn’t disappoint. The room was a great size with a huge double bed and comfortable. It had capsule coffee/tea maker so you got fresh coffee if you wanted it and not that powdered stuff out of a sachet. Great touch. Big TV not that I watched it when I can look out the window and the life below. Bathroom is a good size with a nice roomy shower. No bumping of elbows while showering under the rain shower head. The usual bathroom amenities as expected. Breakfast the morning after the marathon was very busy and the staff couldn’t cope or they didn’t put enough staff on duty. A queue waiting to get into breakfast. I waited for half an hour in the hope the queue would disappear but it didn’t so joined in. Breakfast consists of five or six hot dishes plus pastries, cereal, fruit and bread. Not a large variety like I’ve experienced but good enough. The lobby bar and restaurant is very popular. Nice chilled vibrant space. Ate and drank cocktails there several times and fully recommend it. Well worth a visit. If you want a view you will have to book a room on the higher floors. You can get rooms which have views down the avenue and they are placed on the corner of the building. There are four views to consider. Looking up town to Central Park, down town (don’t know what’s there, couldn’t see) Time Square or Hudson River side.
The constant smell of street food when you step outside the hotel but that's not the fault of the hotel.
1. the room we reserved not availble when we arrived. 2. Counldn't sleep at all cause next door party all night long. The hotel did nothing about it when I complained 3. lobby boys were just gathering together and chatting, acting like you are not even there. 4. very slow Wi-fi and they charged for it. 5.therefore,NOT RECOMMEND.
I was staying at the Hilton Fashion District and I cancelled to move here. No comparison: this is much better. Rooms are spacious, features are ok and well keeped. Maintenance is good, cleaning is good, services are ok. The French cuisine restaurant is pleasant. All around a lot of small restaurants and pubs. Pleasant overall.
they refused to extend my check out time one hour to be 1 instead of 12. they asked for half of the complete day rate to be extended to 6 o'clock.
I didn't like the hotel
I think the staff are very rude
Very rude staff
High class rooms. cleanness of the place. staff crew is so friendly. location is perfect, you can find a lot of restaurants.
wifi is not free, you have to pay for it.
Lovely comfortable bed Nice large shower Cleanliness Staff were friendly
The price to booking.com and the price of the hotel do not match. The price I had to pay with check-out was much higher than the promised price, I will not be returned to this hotel because of this. The Wi-Fi do not not match with the high price we paid for the daily rate we paid exstra for Wi-Fi
Staff are very helpful
The noise from the street.
Location and friendliness of staff
Having to pay for Wifi and the fact that the room only contained the basics and everything else was extra.
Hotel was in a fabulous location, very close to Broadway and Times Square. Room was excellent, with fabulous views of the city. Could not have chosen better. Staff were amazing. Very helpful and friendly throughout the hotel. Restaurant was great both for breakfast and dinner. A super team! Well done! Would definitely recommend staying here and WILL be returning again!!
Very little to critisize about this fabulous hotel. Would have loved free wifi and maybe a tub in the bathroom!
Location was excellent but if return to NY will stay near Central Park. Very good staff.
Very busy lobby and hard to get taxis due to congested traffic in area. Rooms quite small but great view. Rooms a little tired.
The view was amazing
Everything was great! Clean spacious room. Comfy bed. Express check out. Fast check in. Great location.
