Secure feeling. Attention to detail. Excellent staff. Very comfortable.
Breakfast options too expensive and too limited.
I loved the location and the door staff really make the hotel a real added extra they are fantastic people to give you advice and recommendations, definetly ask for a high floor as the views are great
Cant fault anything really except the prices are quite high within the hotel
Close to the theaters, shopping, restaurants and metro. Great hotel!
The wi-fi is very expensive and most hotels include wi-fi these days. It works out at least USD20 - USD40 more a day so, please bear this in mind when you book this hotel.
The location of the hotel couldn't be any better. One block away from broadway. It lives up to the Intercontinental standard and we had a beautiful corner room on the 17th floor.
Bar staff was slow. But that's a minor thing.
When we ask to empty the minibar and to send empty plate and fork, they want to charge us !!!! We never expeience this before througt out the countries that we visited before.
The hotel double charge the bill: 1. charge to the credit card used in the website under name Muhammad Ghafouri 2. Charge the credit card used in the hotel by the guest under name Ibtesam Ahmed
I liked the location
Not so helpful staff. I didn't like the food from room service.
Location was great and the view from the room was great
Horrible hospitality. Staff was rude. Beds were not made up. dirty dishes and glasses were left behind. Just a horrible experience.
location and staff
Location, have a subway station on the corner, near to theaters, steps away from times.
WIFI is paid, I agree with that IF you want high speed, but just to check your flight information, you need to pay for it.
The atmosphere and stay all together was wonderful
that you have to pay for wifi such a luxurious hotel with a hefty price tag. wifi should be included
Location, view, warm comfy room and friendly staff
Only thing it's missing is a spa and pool. Other than that, perfect
Good location, very nice room and bed, very nice bar downstairs with free wi0fi. Overall I would stay again.
Be careful - bottled water that is left out of the minibar and that is usualy free in Europe is charged at $9.80 a bottle which is just incredible. Also the car service to the airport was booked at $75 that was to include all the tolls. When I got to JFK they tried to add tolls on when i pointed this out they then added taxes on to incrtease the fare - I felt as if I was being ripped off.
Interior comfort breakfast staff I enjoyed much
Wifi not available in room Prices are high
Staff, rooms, lobby, location
Wi fi not included, prices high and unstable
Very comfortable bed, great view from our room.
At least two occasions where room service trays of leftover food had not been collected from the hall-way outside our room. Huge thumbs down for this, regrettably. Also, ill-informed staff on approximate cab fares to main destinations.
Parking garage that hotel has a contract with is a bunch if theifs
Excellent value for money and fantastic location thanks to booking.com
Very friendly and helpful staff Very clean and comfortable room Ideal location for sightseeing and shopping Dinner in restaurant extremely varied menu very well cooked albeit a little expensive
TV too many channels with many adverts.
Location , valué for room
My stay was good. But was not happy at the end of my stay because i requested for a late check out and the conplained ås lf i requested for another day.
I travelled with a friend and we found everyone very helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable and not at all noisy at night time. The bar foods were very tasty and available late at night which after a show was very convenient.
paying for wifi
This hotel is idealy situated for a lot of the main tourist spots in NYC and is a not too pricy cab ride from the others. Shopping around here is great and there are lots of places to eat although non that cheap. We got a decent deal on the room so it wasn't as expensive as it could have been. Wifi was free in the lobby and also in most shops and cafes around but not in the room.
Most of the staff could barely look at you let alone offer any help and were borderline rude most of the time. There were three in total that we dealt with that were vaguely helpful. We waited in the bar one evening (to use the wifi and have a drink) and in the end gave up on getting any service after 40mins despite asking the waitress 3 times to take our order. In a country renowned for its service, the Intercontinental is a let down.
Hotel facilities were wonderful. CaVa was fantastic for breakfast buffet and late night coffee/dessert - great atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for Broadway shows, dinners on Restaurant Row, playing in Time Square and traveling around the city - Subway right next to the hotel!!
