It was disappointing to find the restaurant under construction. We assumed there would be a breakfast room. It would have been good to know this in advance.
The staff was excellent, very helpful.the location was also perfect.
Room size Decoration is depressing Feels cheap No breakfast (2 granola bars...) Very expensive for what it is
Nice building from the outside
First night, we found the bathroom had not been properly clean as there was hair on the floor and our towels. We understand mistakes happen so we just asked for someone to come up and clean that night. While looking for my cellphone the next AM, found a bottle of water, a wallet and cookie crumbs underneath the bed (none of these items were ours). The room had obviously not been cleaned at all! Management was prompt to fix the situation and gave us an upgrade to their apple suite. If you are into apple TV, its a good room, other than that, its just a simple room with a king size bed. I would not rate this hotel as 4 starts. The lack of attention to details, customer service and standards of hygiene as below average. We love New Orleans but will definitely not be back to this hotel. We left with a very sour taste.
Location was great! Their lobby bar was trendy and comfy with great drinks.
hot water was a bit weak, but only on one occasion.
Location was great. I was on a high floor, so street noise was minimal. Interior design was well done.
Great location. Easy to get to convention center and my evenings were filled with great chats meeting interesting people in the Loa bar downstairs.
There is no coffee maker or microwave- not a huge problem. The walls are pretty thin. Mostly this was not a problem except for the one night new neighbors decided to moan and groan so loudly that it was impossible to sleep. Had to play music to tune them out. Also, staff did pick up the medicine we left behind, but it would have been nice to get a courtesy call.
The hotel is 2 blocks from canal street, and about 8 blocks from Jackson square making it very convenient to walk everywhere. Harrah's is also just a few blocks away. There are plenty of restaurants to enjoy. There was a fridge in the room which was great for storing water. The wifi works well. The room was clean and enough space for two people. Staff were kind and accommodating. Overall, a great place to stay.
Some of the rooms were very small (not even big enough for a chair), very few plugs for electronics, no safes.
Decor of rooms understated and nicely decorated. Lobby is lovely. Hotel is in good location near Quarter and other attractions and right on bus line. Staff were accommodating. Well soundproofed. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were nice size and Aveda products were provided.
The staff at the Bar was awful. The redheaded bartender looked bored and gave me tap water from the sink that they wash dishes from. They forget orders when there are two people at the bar. She was more interested in talking to her co-worker then taking a drink order. Will not stay there again due to unfriendly staff. And the BED, was some awful mattress with those ridges on the side from the 1999's. Update your furniture, you are not a B&B.
It was beautiful in the Lobby. The rooms were small and uncomfortable with none of the beauty of the Lobby area. Really chintzy.
Bellman never brought ice even tho he said he would, threshold to bathroom was unattached.
Price. The hotel is entirely too expensive for what it is. If you are going to charge 5-star prices, be a 5-star hotel.
Locations is fantastic.
Only thing I would complain about is the hot water. Water was just warm never got hot enough to even steam up shower...
the room was hot and never cooked off at all...even though the AC was on 60
Quiet neighbourhood just a block from the FQ...
I was expecting my room to mirror the rest of the hotel but it was kind of boring. I also don't like that there was no room service!!
The lobby was beautiful and the staff was great... The gym was nice and the spa was AMAZING!! The valet was fast! And checking in and out was a breeze! The front desk service was great also!! Overall great place to stay
Slightly higher-priced than I expected, but totally within reason.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, the room was somewhat small but more than adequate for your needs. The features of the room and bath were modernized and accommodating, so I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Location very close to French Quarter. Cleanliness. Room was nicely decorated.
Would be nice to get the day started with a nice breakfast, but no breakfast here, though they did have fruit and coffee available.
Only 2 blocks from Bourbon Street and 3 from River Walk, the International Hotel is centrally located with easy access to nearly everything within the Vieux Carré. Hotel itself is stunning with an environment you won't find in the chain (Marriott, Hilton, etc) hotels. From the loft-like rooms to the middle-Eastern inspired seating in the lobby it's really a hidden gem. Staff was friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate requests and questions. Easily one of the best stays we've had in the area.
Staff was excellent
This is a solid, nice clean hotel in the heart of downtown New Orleans. Virtually everything of interest is within 10 minutes walking distance. A very enjoyable stay.
Hidden charges. Should plan on adding about 30%
No breakfast most mornings, coffee always out, no amenities, maids did not clean up very well, watched tv while cleaning room and left it blaring, door men never opened doors or helped you in any way, during day elevators took forever because housekeeping was using them
Quaint feeling front desk staff very helpful beds really comfy
The bed was very uncomfortable.
Very comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Not much I can say
I've stayed before good price nothing to complain about
