Quaint feeling front desk staff very helpful beds really comfy
No breakfast most mornings, coffee always out, no amenities, maids did not clean up very well, watched tv while cleaning room and left it blaring, door men never opened doors or helped you in any way, during day elevators took forever because housekeeping was using them
Very comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The bed was very uncomfortable.
I've stayed before good price nothing to complain about
Not much I can say
I loved the fact that the gentleman at the door knew us by name. I was very impressed by this. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful.
I travel a lot for work so I know what a good staff looks like and the staff at this hotel is beyond amazing!
There were not enough power outlets in the room. I had to unplug the clock to plug in my phone.
Everything from the staff to the convenient location.
Our hotel stay was great, close to everything, three blocks from bourbon st.,three blocks from casino restaurants at every corner,we parked car thursday, and didn't get back in until Sunday to leave
Would like to acknowledge IH staff for their professional attitude and their cooperative manner. It's a place that is definetly recommended to my friends!
The absence of pool.
Loved the room, loved the lobby. The staff was very helpful and kind. Morning snacks and coffee were delightful. The room was really "cool" and fairly quiet (Rockstar Room).
I really missed having access to a pool and gym. The bar was nice, but without any other amenities - it might prompt me to make a different choice next time.
Nice hotel, big and comfortable rooms Good situation in New Orleans, at the border of french quarter Very good cocktail bar with quality products price was quite good considering the quality of this hotel
Parking price per day is huge (>30$/day), but anyway it seems to be the same in every hotel in NO I went to
The staff and service was great. I love the appearance and location of hotel.
I have no dislikes.
The location was perfect- an easy walk to anywhere in the French Quarter. Beautiful entrance, wonderful staff. Cute little bar right in the lobby. Great experience!
Only downfall was no windows in our room (which I think is fairly common in the business district) and this annoying buzz that happened right after the AC turned off.
Atmosphere, lobby smells great, loa bar, quiet room facing street.
Front desk staff didnt inform us of $60 incidental fee, night manager was snippy when I called to ask about fee.
The location was excellent. The free WiFi was a nice extra. The exterior was chic and glamorous-looking. We got this hotel for a super low price so that fact made the transaction as a whole a great value. And the beds/pillows were super comfy, although the queen bed seemed less than queen-sized.
The rooms/bed were tiny (we tried 2 different ones as the first room was unsatisfactory). The entire hotel felt cramped and tight-fitting. The IH's conversion from an office building to a boutique hotel was less than fully successful. Street side of the building where we ended up was very noisy (street noise) even on the upper floors. The staff were generally good but our initial check-in person left something to be desired. The exterior and lobby of this hotel promises an extraordinary hotel experience (beautiful and elegant) but it is somewhat pedestrian in many respects inside and about the rooms. This was a bit of a let down. I wouldn't rate it as highly as some prior guests have as I don't value the exterior, bar, and lobby as highly as I do my room, bed, the hallways, and the elevators when evaluating a hotel. Moreover, during our 3 day stay, housekeeping skipped our room cleaning on day 2. We asked them to come back in 15 mins. And they said "OK." We were out of the room shortly after 9 A.m, but our room was untouched by housekeeping when we returned several hours later. However, they did return after we'd gotten back from an exhausting 6 hour day about town. At that time, we were trying to refresh and rest before dinner. We were not about to leave then. No cleaning was done while we were at dinner. This hotel is fine, don't hesitate to book it. But I don't think I'll be returning. They don't seem to pay close attention to the small details that make a hotel stay memorable and worth a return visit. And don't expect the working parts of the hotel (rooms, hallways, elevators) to deliver what the exterior and downstairs promises.
Natalie and her staff were amazing. We were upgraded and the hotel had a style that has to be seen to be believed. Comfortable and stylish. The staff had great recommendations of where to eat and party as well as tours etc. the hotel bar was one of the coolest bars in New Orleans.
After we checked out there was a 250 dollar charge on our credit card for "miscellaneous" this was not express on check out by the staff. I am still trying to re coup the money from the hotel. This is proving very difficult.
The hotel was beautiful. The desk clerk was exceptionally helpful.
The bartenders didn't really know how to make a drink. Had two different cocktails and both were awful!
I stayed in one of the windowless rooms and absolutely loved it. I found the room to be cute, clean and cozy. I arrived early and was able to store my luggage. They also said they would contact me as soon as my room was ready (which they did via text). The doorman gave me a fantastic lunch recommendation (Lüke). Finally the bar, Loa, provided expertly crafted cocktails. I will definitely stay here the next time I visit NOLA!
The lack of a hotel restaurant. I had to walk to find something at around 11pm. This was bothersome because I was traveling solo. However, Alan @ Loa told me that there is one in the works. It should be open in a few months.
Excellent accommodations. Quiet room.
Fridge and microwave. More choice for breakfast.
I liked the staff. Friendly and helpful. I liked the price, very reasonable. I liked the location, for my business meeting it was perfectly located and plenty of good places to shop and eat in short walking distance.
there was no food available in the lounge. No restaurant, but that didn't bother me, but thought the lounge could have had something. Also, drinks were pricey and no happy hour.
The hotel was very accommodating with early check in and late check out. We were able to request late check out about an hour before the normal check out without any problem. Also, the room was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the tub was very large.
Absolutely no problems with our accommodations! Everything was great!!!!!
The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was excellent. Service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.
small bed, no windows
i liked the staff and that there was a bar and lounge area in the lobby.
the windowless room was off putting. I know now to look more carefully at what i'm booking. that was the only part i didn't like. great hotel
Location is great. Room is clean. Fast wifi.
Nothing good except the location. Room is very small. Lack of facility. Not even having the coffee maker. Bed is very uncomfortable and noise insulation is very poor. Constantly heard noise from outside the window and from other guest rooms. Air conditioning is very noisy and it blows wind directly to your head with no way to adjust the direction.
