Staff was efficient
Disappointed in the suite for the amount of money spent for one night. Maids yelling outside the door to one another down the hall at 9am. Maid knocking on the door at 9am then trying the doorknob. Check out wasn't until 11. We were still in bed.
took 3 rooms before we were willing to stay. rooms were run down ,dirty, water was black when we filled the tub. definitely will not go back there again. restaurant was only open for continental breakfast and most things were out of order or empty. toilet ran water all night, heat unit sounded like a truck running had to have room keys reprogrammed multiple times
My husband and I checked in and when we got in our room it wasn't the room we booked. We went back to the front desk and the clerk immediately looked over the reservation and checked us into another room and gave us an upgraded room by 3x to accommodate us for the inconvenience. We had a much needed relaxing stay and will be going back again soon for a longer stay. From our past experiences at this hotel we recommend going mid week if your looking to relax and unwind.
Nearby restaurants and shopping Very comfortable bed Very clean and tidy Linen and sheets smelled fresh Friendly and helpful staff Awesome water flow in showerhead
Very outdated decor No room service Preferred Crown Victorian Suite because the heart shaped jacuzzi was more accommodating for us, and had more jets than oval Jacuzzi in Plaza Suite. Also, $250 p/ night is a little outrageous, will stick to Crown Victorian Suite in our next stay.
Right on Main St.
No hot water. Tepid at best.
Bed was so comfortable
Walls in room were dirty the spa tub is to high for a 5 ft woman to get into you could not look out the window very dirty very loud too with people
More noisy than we expected, and the rooms seemed drab and a bit musty. The mattresses had a noisy cover on them, so they made noise even if you just sat on the edge of the bed.
in ad-inside pool, gone 5 years ago.in ad-canopy bed and hot tub, fire place gone 5 years ago.in ad-continental breakfast with room.have to pay now.on sign $ 69.95 with breakfast.we paid more and inn would not refund our difference.booking.com deceived us.because this ad was so extreme from the truth,I'm filling a complaint with the attorney generals office.. do not go to this place for your anniversary..
Main guy in the dining room at breakfast was welcoming and helpful and had a good manner. Free drinks available at 8pm on one of the two evenings I was there - compliments of the manager.
The room!! We stayed in the Waldorf Suite. Paid way too much money for the shabby condition of the rooms. Only one (unclean) window in the whole suite!! Very depressing. I did speak with a lovely woman at the front desk who asked how my stay was, I told her, and she spoke to the manager ( he was in a meeting. He promised to call me. I am still waiting to hear from the manager, who was supposed to call me back and has not as of this posting!! Very disappointing!!
Room was clean and we enjoyed our stay
The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and professional. Location is great for shopping.
The pink toilet seat was old and quite unsavoury looking, cracked and faded. Bedspread had an organic looking stain but was changed when pointed out to staff.
Like most travelers agreed, the location is very good.
Holes in sheets. Terrible dated decor. Un proffesional staff. Late check in hours, I understand they were "booked" the night before but not very accomodating.
The woman at the front desk was awesome. Good personality. Made us feel welcomed.
The hot tub, and the dinner was better than expected. I think they mentioned a new chef was in the kitchen that night.
The bathrooms ceilings and hotel halls were a bit dingy. Barely any WiFi access, I pretty much used my phone as a hotspot.
My boyfriend and I booked for Labour Day Weekend for just a getaway. We booked the Princess Jr Suite for the king size bed and in suite jacuzzi. The location is great on Main St seeing as the ocean is just a short drive and there is many stores and restaurants within walking distance. The room was very clean and cozy. It was our first time in Hyannis and we will definitely be back and book here in the future.
The only thing I was particularly disappointed with was that only until I entered for the continental breakfast was I informed it was not included with my room type. As far as the booking went it had indicated that a free continental breakfast was included with stay and not based on room type.
If you thinking about booking this place, don't. I stayed in good hotels, bad hotels, motels, etc, but this place is the league of their own. Starting with incompetent staff at the front desk and then the room experience. It's not only old and smelly, but furniture is broken, dirty sheets, 30 year old air conditioner, filthy bathtub. I mean it can't get any worse that this. They kept changing our room after non stop complaints, but all of the rooms seem the same at the end. Avoid at all costs!!!
Everything outside of the check-in process was great!!!
Front desk associate apon arrival was very rude and displeasant. I came in a little early and am aware that early check-ins are not always available. However, rather then explaing to me what was going on and when I would be able to get into a room, I was meet with rudeness. I simply asked when I would be able to get into my room and the associate brushed me off and told me "The room will be ready when it's ready." I then asked if I could leave my luggage at the desk until my room was ready and again rudeness. End of the story, all he had to do was tell me when I would be able to get in but he was completely unprofessional and rude.
Convenience to downtown.
Room 135 Smelled like a dirty ashtray, bathroom was dirty. Tub "puttied" looked like a nasty brown stain in tub. Manager at front desk extremely RUDE! accused me of not paying.. when I had. she confused me with another guest..great way to be treated after spending over $175.00 for 2 rooms, in a smelly, old hotel, furniture in room 237 stained, old, looked like it came from a dump. would never stay here again. also no parking at midnight after coming back late from a wedding.
No one told us there was breakfast. And the pictures for our suite online were completely different from the room that we got. Although the room was still excellent we were disappointed for 10 minutes but didn't want to make a stink.
They have me the wrong room at first. I knew I booked the princess suite but they sent us to Waldorf. Luckily I saved my email. Other then that it was great.
late check in no carpet in rooms
The staff were very helpful. The suite was nice, the 4 head shower for 2 was interesting. Dinner on the patio was nice. Walking distance to a variety of shops. I would recommend the 2nd floor suites
The tables in the dinning room were too close together seating wasn't great for breakfast. Being on the first floor the noise from the tub above was loud. Also one of the out side doors would slam with a loud noise at all hours of the night not good if light sleeper.
