The atmosphere and the friendliness of everyone.
Liked everything about Cody!
talking to staff about history of hotel.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly and our room was clean and comfortable, although the hot water in the shower took a few minutes to warm up. We had drinks and an appetizer in the bar which were good and we loved the history of the place and the fact that it is supposed to be haunted. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at The Irma Hotel.
People (staff) Decore (beautiful wood work) Comfort (temperature and quietness) Price (of season price?)
Looked for outlets for all our electric devices, but there were not enough. That's about only complaint.
food and people.
Ambience, comfort and great service.
Dining room was closed for a private party on our only night.
Easy & free parking Courteous & truly helpful staff Basic but completely satisfactory room Quiet
We stayed in the old part of the hotel wich was decorated in western style, very cool! Breakfast buffet was great.
The hotel restaurant closed early on sunday evening (< 9 pm). Sink was in the bedroom rather than in the bathroom, what caused the carpet underneath to get wet.
It was full of friendly, smiling faces, excellent service. The best of several historic hotels on a 4,000 mile trip.
Not a damn thing !
Great location in center of town Large room for price Memorabilia and decor from bygone days.
Older construction can make noise an issue.
prime rib buffet was great
Right in the middle of the action. A chance to get out og the car and walk to shops, restaurants and museums.
Shower was not as hot or strong as we would have liked, but we're not made of same stuff as the early pioneers.
Dining Room and meals were very good. Character hotel. Loved the Gunfight!.
Very small window in the room, no view. Couldnt open window and screen was almost falling off.
Location and historical environment.
I was disappointed that our room was not furnished with period furniture. The advertisement for the hotel indicated such, but I now know that the ad is not representative if all rooms.
The fact it was downtown
The decor was horrible. You would think if you are advertising your property as a historic place, you would attempt to have true periodic furniture. It was very noisy. The servers in the restaurant were rude.
Relaxed, down home attitude
We loved the atmosphere most of all, the food was great and the bar was fabulous, both entertainment and beer, the location was perfect and the shoot out on the street outside was cheesy but great fun.
Water pipes banging in the early hours of the morning and no guest lift for the cases
The atmosphere was like something out of the old west. The building, fixtures and furniture were like stepping back in time which was my goal of staying at the Irma. The characters in the "gunfight" looked so authentic and really played their parts well. What fun!
Wasn't able to stay long enough.
The history of the hotel is amazing. Would definitely stay again.
Historical nature and location
Room needed a little bit of attention to detail I.e. Wallpaper coming away from the wall
Lovely old hotel. Our room was clean and spacious. Reception staff were helpful but not overly friendly. restaurant food was excellent. Enjoyed the Bill Cody gunfight outside the hotel. Would stay here again.
Location, history, clean rooms
A little dated but not in a bad way. Felt like my grandparents house...
I loved everything about the Irma hotel. The staff was great, the good was awesome, and the room was very clean and comfortable.
Very original. We stayed in a historic room which was not what we had booked so it was more expensive.Right on Main Street.Restaurant in hotel was not expensive and on a par with other restaurants. No problem parking. You are only here once so why not splash out1!
No complaints apart from no beer on tap (draught).. Bottles only but plenty of choice
