Relaxed, down home attitude
We loved the atmosphere most of all, the food was great and the bar was fabulous, both entertainment and beer, the location was perfect and the shoot out on the street outside was cheesy but great fun.
Water pipes banging in the early hours of the morning and no guest lift for the cases
The atmosphere was like something out of the old west. The building, fixtures and furniture were like stepping back in time which was my goal of staying at the Irma. The characters in the "gunfight" looked so authentic and really played their parts well. What fun!
Wasn't able to stay long enough.
The history of the hotel is amazing. Would definitely stay again.
Historical nature and location
Room needed a little bit of attention to detail I.e. Wallpaper coming away from the wall
Lovely old hotel. Our room was clean and spacious. Reception staff were helpful but not overly friendly. restaurant food was excellent. Enjoyed the Bill Cody gunfight outside the hotel. Would stay here again.
Location, history, clean rooms
A little dated but not in a bad way. Felt like my grandparents house...
I loved everything about the Irma hotel. The staff was great, the good was awesome, and the room was very clean and comfortable.
We had a ground floor room overlooking the car park and right next to the kitchens oh it was hell so noisy. The old wooden floors made it sound as if elephants were above us but that I could have put up with. Just after 11pm the kitchen staff are clearing up banging and making such noise. Then at 4 am they start again banging , talking loudly with no regard for anyone in the rooms . The bar closes at 2am so there is lots of noise with guests moving around as well. Food was poor , have a look , try the bar but if you want to sleep stay well clear .
Just a little window in the room, housekeeper wanted to clean the room at 8am and the check-out was later...
Location was good and room was comfortable.
In restaurant we had a waitress who was obviously stoned. She had problems with all her tables in our area. It became comical. Food was good though.
Location, historical property, overall ambience
The in remodeled rooms need updating
Fantastic bar area, good feel to the hotel, and of course its history. Great gunfight outside at night. Staff friendly and helpful.
Rooms were a little shabby. Breakfast not included in room rate.
Our rooms were great people were excellent help
No drinks at old bar
I liked the location being downtown . Parking was easy. Nerver had been out that way before enjoyed it all. Pa is nice too.
Can't think of anything.
The restaurant was like being with those far west legends.
Room we were given was next to the main road. Harley Davidson, trucks and name it were going thru our bed....
Poor service in the dining hall.
Nice, lively, clean, well kept turn of century hotel that Buffalo Bill slept in. Excellent location in downtown Cody. Nothing fancy but has all the basics at a good rate. Good restaurant & bar.
Only room left was next to Main St. After Sturgis Rally Days it was noisy but still got decent night's sleep. Hotel clerk told me we wouldn't hear anything...ha!
Wish they were queen beds
Even though I had booking confirmation for two rooms they only reserved one. The hotel was full and my reservation was not honored. As a result we were not able to stay at the Irma as booked and confirmed.
Location was great
Beds were uncomfortable and the restaurant was too rushed.
Food,service, and location
Historic old hotel. Fun place but don't expect luxury. Just enjoy the the place.
Great location, reasonable price for the area, gunfighter shootout right outside the hotel, good restaurant in the hotel, great historic location!
Check in guy was brunt and almost rude, everyone else was fine.
Welcoming staff, great hotel with so much history. Bar and restaurant were excellent.
