My husband and I were celebrating our 27th anniversary. First time we had gotten away in years. Loved it so much we plan on returning next year!
I loved the bed, it was so comfortable. Waking up early, opening the curtains to the sunrise off the balcony was my favorite part
The fire place was fineky. It had loose wires so only worked when it wanted to therefore there were sometimes in the night i would wake up freezing and some times wake up sweating.
Love the penthouse and the view. The pool and atmosphere....
Afraid of bear...
nice spot, have stayed before, will stay again. Thanks
only 1 fork in the silverware drawer
I loved the suite we stayed in it was beautiful and clean..
It was a little cold in the room..
Everything met or exceeded our expectations
The size, decor, location and view from the room. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The cleaning staff did a great job ensuring all was in good order and clean throughout our visit.
The grounds behind our chalet had alot of trash in the woods that had blown back there by the winds or left by previous visitors. The area is typically so well maintained, I was a little disappointed to see this trash in such beautiful surroundings.
Great set up the porch off the master was beautiful. But waking up early making a cup of coffee and watching the sunrise from the terrace was breath taking.
The carpets were in fairly rough shape for a $400/night room. And the shower was tiny in a massive bathroom. I'm a very petite person and I kept knocking the door open.
The whole package - quality of building, rooms, fixtures and fittings, furniture, bed, the log-effect fire. The location was stunning, views to far mountains, autumn leaf colours, the little summer house and tranquility pool
Two minor problems. 1 Phone and internet weren't working. The net was fixed within minutes, the phone wasn't fixed during our 20-hour stay (needed the phone company) Lets put that down as a one-off problem 2 Well-appointed apartment let down by a job-lot of mismatches in the table cutlery drawer. Plenty to use, just didn't live up to the quality of everything else.
Will definitely return
My husband and I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and we stayed in the penthouse suite in the château's. We absolutely loved our room! It was super clean and huge with a great view of the mountains. It was really quiet and we felt so comfortable in our room - we will definitely be going back!
I liked that the properties were spread out and not on top of each other. It was in a great area, close to everything yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle.
the condition of the road...but it looks like they are working on repairing very soon
Stayed at the top of the mountain in a Penthouse. Awesome, very spacious with a fireplace and jacuzzi. If we had known it was going to be so nice, we would have checked-in sooner.
Very clean Comfortable The view Was cleaned, vacuumed, new towels every day Quiet
The road up was bumpy Bee's on the balcony
incredible location and we were given a chateau up at the very top of the compound - with no one else around. The penthouse was actually beautifully adorned.
Though we stopped in on the way out on our second day to make sure the staff knew we were out so housecleaning could go in, when we arrived back in the evening, no one had attended to the room, When we called about it the staff was pretty dismissive. When we checked out, no one apologized for that slip up. Also neither the sauna nor the steam room were operating throughout our three day stay.
I liked the room we stayed. Beautiful view, private pool. I would stay there again. Beautiful rooms..
The only thing I didn't like was the rates, a bit pricy and not near any restaurants.
The room, the pools, the grounds, the view, the gym.
Young couples under the age of 21 allowed spoiling time in hot tub and they had a dog in a room that did not allow pets. Terrible coffee in room!
Used to go there frequently. Hadn't been there in 11 years. We were amazed at how well the property had been maintained.
The 'chateau' property was very spacious and well equiped. Big bathroom, double sinks, jacuzzi, lots of towels etc. Nice big kitchen. Lovely bed.hard to beat. Nicely landscaped area, great view. Wifi faster than most. Would use again.
Staff were efficient, but not especially welcoming. The apartment was clean but the BBQ was still dirty from previous users.
Facilities and location is quite good. Entire hotel is huge. We stayed in room at highland where we may really enjoy a wonderful view of mountain and peaceful environment.
It seems there is no restaurant inside this resort. It is inconvenient to have dinner or lunch. You have to drive out for it.
kitchen tools, pots and pans were very outdated, and needs to be more clean.
The view was pretty, the fireplace was nice.
When we complained about the torn up couch to the women at the front desk we felt they were told to respond "there's a couch on order" which we found hard to believe. And for the money that we paid for the room we wouldn't have expected to see the couch in that kind of condition. That seems like it should have been in a $50. a night room not $250. night. Very, very disappointed. Also unable to control the temperature - thermostat did not work properly. And the lighting in the shower stall was very poor.
Lights around the tranquility pool were not working, half of the Gazebo lights were also out. It was so magical, if these things worked, it would have put it over the top.
The room was fabulous. Impeccably clean.
Not enough time.
Near storyland, big room.
Price a but high but not too bad.
