location and cleanliness
no soap in shower, room stuffy and could not open window, portable air conditioner very noisy
Close proximity to attractions. Historical significance. Clean bathroom.
All 5 roooms were upstairs. We had to carry our luggage up the staircase. TV would turn itself on and off intermittently. We finally unplugged it. Hot tub and sauna nonfunctional resulting from earlier heavy rains & electrical storm. Extreme musty odor to room. The room air conditioning was terribly noisy disrupting our sleep.
Convenient location, hand made bath soaps, unique place and views. Great price!
We came in on an off day, so there was no staff. We were given a key to the front door and our room, but it would have been nice to have been greeted by someone on staff.
Quite, Clean, equiped, restfull, awesome, tastefull...shower was clean, room was clean, everything we needed they had. Coffee in the morning, close to everything. Excellent time.
Right in town. We walked to all the great places in Bisbee
The service was awesome. We enjoyed the feel of the place a lot. They even used samples of my favorite kind of soap. They provide a bin for recycling and just, it was generally nice.
I did however feel like the beds were terribly hard and the pillows were like pancakes. So if you come here, bring your own pillow. I liked the staff a lot though, so I hate to say anything negative.
quaint, quiet, clean
AC didn't get cold enough in room 5 so it was a little uncomfortable. Couldn't find password for WI-FI anywhere. Cisco connect was not clear on what I needed to do. You should just state what the password is somewhere in the room to make it quick and easy for your guests.
new make over , good location , parking
my pillow cover had stains. the a/c could have been better . bed was very , very uncomfortable
Room was nice. Location was great. Left Key in lock box for late arrival and called me to let me know. Easy access without having to move my car. Parking right across the street.
Fridge didn't work Staff was gone so there were no instructions for ice, wifi - which I was never able to access. Although she did comment that she should put something in the room to rectify.
Great location downtown historic Bisbee
We would ask for one of the "front" rooms which might be smaller than #1 but a bit brighter with great views. Great historical place to stay in Bisbee with laidback people. Thank you again. Bonnie and Tony (and my Service dog Jenny)
enjoyed the st. elmo's tavern
Very quaint and extremely clean.
The staff was wonderful. The Inn is in a perfect location, directly across from free public parking, and easy walking to the main strip. The room was clean, and we really enjoyed the sauna & hot tub. Carol and especially Debra were extremely accommodating! Made us feel right at home and immediately welcomed.
Great location Great staff, who were very kind as well Wonderful value for the expense Nice place, well run and inexpensive
Building AC was out. In-room unit was noisy and didn't work well until a fan was purchased for us by the management and staff. That solved the comfort problem! Bed was a little hard for us
Location, friendly staff. comfortable rooms
no access to WiFi
There was no staff on site the entire time we were there. We let ourselves in and out with a key.. no daily room service. A/C inadequate bed uncomfortable
Location is great, you can just park in the lot across the street & walk around old Bisbee. No bars or noise around the hotel so it was quite at night. We were the 1st guest to arrive so they let us pick which room we wanted, of course we took the largest (#1). (All rooms are the same price no matter the size & there are some small rooms so inquire when you book). Free wifi worked great and is password protected. Staff was friendly and rooms have a frig to use. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Coffee shop down the street serves great local roasted coffee & home made pastries in the morning. Every one we encountered in town was friendly. Last two issues to consider on the rooms, they are all upstairs on the same floor, so if you have an issue climbing them this isn't the hotel for you. Plus I'm not sure that if all the rooms are booked how noisy it would be.
Room had one of those newer "free standing" air conditioners so it took up room space. However I am glad it did have an air conditioner. On the positive; since we had the large room it wasn't too much of an issue. T.V.s are older & our remote didn't work, they even switched batteries for us and still nothing. I wasn't there to watch t.v. but everything closed early in town due to lack of business (per sing on doors) & it was a Sunday. We only got like 4 channels so just glad I took a book along.
Great place to stay, good ambiance, wonderful hostess with knowledge of Bisbee and willing to share. If you can't do stairs don't go, otherwise go and have fun
The mattress could have been more comfortable
Great funky old hotel in great funky and fun town of Bisbee. Carol the manager was very welcoming and full of information about the town. Location is right on main square of town.
The cleanliness was great. It was renovated beautifully and looked well kept.
We reserved two rooms. One room had cable, the other room did not. One room had a working refrigerator, the other room's fridge did not work. We needed the password for the internet but there was no staff available. We did not see the staff when we arrived not when we left. No wonder jailhouse inn was probably the only hotel that had a vacancy Memorial Day weekend.
Close to Dining
To hot to sleep the ac is not working they have portable ac in the room but it vents back into the room sweating all night check to see if the ac has been repaired before you book here this summer
The hotel was charming, clean, and staff friendly.
No air conditioning...due to failure of their system they put in some funky air cooler. Not just my husband and me but at least 6 other occupants were talking of spending a miserable night (the room was around 80 degrees) and not being able to sleep due to the heat. The refrigerator did not work. I won't go back there..
Closeness to town.
We had to call employee, as no one was there at 3:00pm.
