The history of the Hotel is interesting. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Nice room, modern clean design.

A bit noisy due to a/c unit set into window and restaurant outside.

It was a lovely place to stay , very convenient to the town, the room was clean and comfortable, it had a quant front porch. Will stay there again

Due to the age and design of the jail there was no elevator available but the attendant at the front desk carried out luggage.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We loved the room it was very comfortable. The Jailhouse Inn's location is close to everything. We would definatly go there again!!!!

Très bien localisé. Bâtisse historique de caractère. Personnel très serviable. Excellent petit déjeuner compris.

Confort un peu juste: le terme de luxe pour qualifier la chambre est abusif. Un peu vieillot même si partie du charme. Climatisation peu performante (bas de gamme, peu de réglages possibles). Prix Newport, c'est à dire plutôt cher dans l'absolu.

Newport es una ciudad increíble y el hotel está excelentemente ubicado. Tiene wifi free y cochera, ademas de contar con cuartos cómodos y desayuno incluído. Lo recomiendo.

Très bon établissement...curieux puisque dans une ancienne prison!Mais confort très bien et situation aussi!

Attention aux chambres qui donnent sur le devant de la maison...il y a une terrasse où les gens prennent le frais...et discutent volontiers tard le soir!

The staff was very helpful; we had a family emergency which was extremly difficult to deal with and they completely understood.

The website made the room look much nicer than they really were. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed we have every laid on. There was no central air and the unit was extremely loud. We barely slept the night we were there. For the amount of money it cost to stay we felt the rooms and decor could have been updated. Very outdated.

The Jailhouse Inn has a reat location right in Historic Newport. The staff could not have been nicer! The facility is lovely and the room was comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

The room we had faced the back of a pub/restaurant and therefore was a bit loud in the evening...Nothing that would keep you awake, but still when you want to sleep...any noise is a disruption. This room was also on the main floor, so if you stay on theother side of the main floor or upstairs this may be less of a problem.
