Bright lighting in restaurant area.
Very close to the JFK international airport. There are shuttles waiting for you right outside the hotel every 30 minutes. Big room, comfort beds, nice view. Take few minutes to check in and check out.
The hotel staffs who are waiting outside the hotel at the main entrance. Upon our arrival, they never give us a hand or help you to move lugguages. I and my mom have several big and heavy luggages and we have to move them down from the taxi and bring them inside the hotel one by one while the staff are just standing there and looking at us.
The staff was friendly , the food was good , easy access to taxi . Clean well kept hotel
Lack of vegetarian options in the bar / restaurant was disappointing and they forgot my requested wake up call
The bus shuttle took 45 minutes to come to pick us and it was 4am with freezing weather conditions
Waited 40 minutes in sub zero temperatures for shuttle bus on saturday evening. Took three irate phone calls to get bus to come to arranged pick up point. will not be doing this again
1.Good basic Airport Hotel - for stop over connections 2. Once in the Hotel - Staff,services and meals are all well coordinated & available 3.Staff are super helpful and very efficient 4.On your way back - its OK to use the Hilton Shuttle directly to the Departure Terminal
1.Do NOT use the Airport Hotel connection phone system (dial 40 for Hilton a)The Operator is inaudible & directions are POOR b) One you finally board the AIR TRAIN,you then wait outside in blizzard conditions for up to 30 mins to catch the HILTON shuttle. c) If there is insufficient room - you have to wait again !!! 2.DO NOT USE THE HILTON SHUTTLE TO THE HOTEL - USE A CAB AND SURVIVE !!!

Staff was very friendly and courteous.
The heater in my room wasn't working properly. Had to continue to call about it. On my last night they offered to move me since they couldn't fix it. I felt they should have moved me two days before after I had to call 1st least five times each day to have the heat reset. My guess was they were full and didn't have any rooms available until the night before we were leaving. I'd rather you have just said that than to have me continuously keep calling acting like it was fixed.

Complicated to connect to both free and paid wifi. No free wifi in the room 2 as a pain and should be standard. The free wifi in the lobby needed to be accessed through a sign in page that didn't come automatically in the browser. Even staff had difficulty connecting to. For business hotel free and hassle free wifi should be standard.
Shower pressure and temperature was great. Minutes from JFK. Plenty of on site parking.
Shuttle was slow getting to the airport. Room was small. Room smelled like cigarettes. Towels were like sandpaper.
the heater is very very very noisy and started automatically every 15 minutes all night long!
The room charges - I am talking about main charge w/o extra feeswere higher then iinitially confirmed. There was no free internet in the room.

The front desk staff were extremely helpful.
Our shower broke while my husband was in the shower. The faucet shot off the wall and water was spraying everywhere! When I called guest services, they sent maintenance right away. However the manager came with the maintenance man, and they acted like it was our fault. The front desk had offered us a new room, but the manager said we didn't need one, that maintenance could fix the shower and then housekeeping could reclean the room, all while my family was waiting in the hall or on the bed. They finally gave us a new room and everything was fine from that point. Also, when we went down to go to the pool at 7pm, the doors were locked and the grumpy manager said someone would open the pool shortly. We waited 25 minutes in the hallway by the pool for the grumpy manager to walk 100 feet and unlock the door.
Eating there is a pleasure. Food good ,wait staff excellent. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Overall an excellent experience.

The fact that you have to pay for wifi in the room, room service stops at 11 pm so I u arrive later, there is nothing to eat in the entire hotel. The AC fan in the room turned on automatically with the loudest noise and most terrible smell at 4 in the morning. Had to contact reception to turn it off! The hotel a bit run down.
