Excellent shuttle service to and from airport. Staff was very courteous and professional.
Cabinet under sink in bathroom is in need of re-finishing. It was chipping and peeling. Draws did not work smoothly. In general bathroom needs renovation.
Room, bathroom, restaurant, airport shuttle
Good quality hotel near JFK
Bed had a broken mattress. Staff wouldn't let me stay another 30 minutes for late check-out without paying more money!. very inflexible
Shuttle service is free and excellent. Food options very good. Staff helpful.
Front desk staff (both evening and morning), accommodations, shuttle drivers (both ways).
Restaurant overpriced with disappointing food and service.
Airport Shuttle was a very convenient facility and the staff were very helpful.
I arrive to Federal Circle Station that is the meeting point for shuttle services. Lot of shuttles coming for different hotels, but not Hilton. After 10-15 minutes I call the hotel, they explained I should have called upon arrival (nobody told me that when I booked the room), and that the van should arrive in 10minutes. After 15minutes another call because the shuttle did not arrive. They said "it is almost there"....another 10 minutes and nothing, another call with and international phone...10minutes more and finally the Hilton shuttle arrive. I asked the driver "what happens?",and in bad mood he told me to complain and ask in reception.
Breakfast should be included in price of stay.
the reception & the enveroment.&pricing
not consistent rate
Convenience of location to JFK and free shuttle service
Convenient hotel for airport with a good and prompt shuttle service.
Have to pay for wifi.
The reception was excellent. The gentleman was helpfull and gave us good guidance on the shuttle hours. On our request for late checkout he immediately proposed a suitable time We stayed 1 night and it was worth
There is no restaurant near the hotel.
Location, executive lounge, beds food was amazing for a hotel .
Could use up dating ,rooms looked old, air was so noisy actually woke us up twice.
The entire setting was lovely, very well coordinated and the location made going to the airport to catch an early flight a lot easier when you considers the busy nature of New York City.
The rooms even though spacious requires regular redecoration like the Hilton we stayed in close to Frankfort airport because of the kind of patronage they are getting due to its fine and serene location. This should also be extended to the front desk area and the arrival or waiting lounge.
What not to like at the Hilton. The only suggestion I have is to put microwave in the rooms.
He problem: a 24 hour flight to Singapore - with two small children in tow. The plan: book a place near the hotel to spend the day. No stress - we'd be close. And the pool was a plus. The snag: The pool only opens at three pm on weekdays. The first room was smoky - not good for us, esp for the kids. They initially wanted to charge a lot for a late stay. The van driver seems to loathe actually pulling up the curb - either at the pick up, drop off, and even at the hotel. Pros: - They changed the room (our first on the third floor was definitely smoky - just above the second floor smoking floor?) - They gave us free WIFI to help us feel better (pet peeve: hotels that charge for WIFI - come on! This is 2014!) - Jose, who took us up to our room, was definitely awesome - The room is clean, and everything is as you might expect in an average hotel - The servers at the restaurant were definitely cool, although it took some time to get seated. Mixed: - We had very mixed experiences with the restaurant. The dinner was good (both in the restaurant and later for room service). The service in the restaurant at dinner and lunch the next day was excellent. - However, breakfast was stressful and disappointing. They were swamped, but we felt like it was poorly managed. The staff were nice and trying their best. But why don't they provide self-serve water and coffee/tea? That would take a lot off their servers. The breakfast was a bummer overall.
Cons: - The pool opens at 3 pm on weekdays. This was a major bummer. The pool is small, but it worked, since we ended up extending our stay. Our kids got energy out before our long flight. - We were initially told that to extend the stay past noon would cost US$175. The next day, they charged us a somewhat more reasonable US$75. - The attitude of the night staff was not that good. We got really upset. Later, things cooled down, and they did their best. - US$18 for parking is crazy. On-street parking is free (our visitor did that - and there's plenty of it, and it felt 100 percent fine during the day), but i'm not sure I would park overnight. Is it safe? is it legal? - The van is a plus, though we were exhausted and a fifteen minute wait seemed like a lot. But the driver seems very reluctant to pull up to the curb - ever! He was consistently more than one car length away, both on pick up at airport, drop off at hotel, later pickup at hotel, and later drop off at hotel! My daughter almost got hit by a car passing by the van when dropping off at the airport. To be fair, dropping off at the airport is tough. But the other three? It was harder to explain. - Overall, we felt like management was an issue. So it was a mixed experience - one that we probably wouldn't repeat. And it is definitely not worth what we payed.
Location, initial appearance and staff were excellent. Bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was very nice.
Room did look quite dated and the A/C made a noise all night even though it was switched off.
The first room we were allocated smelled strongly of smoke despite requesting a non-smoking room. The staff moved us but the second room was very noisy. We barely got any sleep before our flight early the next morning. The air conditioning unit kept waking us up when it came on. The shuttle bus took 30 min to our terminal rather than 10 min suggested by the front desk staff. The hotel is overpriced. Save some money and stay at the cheaper neighbouring airport hotels.
+ nothing.... Nothing - unwelcoming staff. - you must carry your luggage to your room. - we arrived @ 11:30 pm , There was no water to drink in the room & there was no room service . - my advice is bring your food & drink prior to getting stocked in this hotel. - we have to wear masks to sleep because beds have sting smell of dust.
Everything sarting from the reception & it's staff to having to carry my luggage to the room @ midnight after long flight.to having to struggle to sleep in a dusty bed & Including begging for drinking water. I didn't find anything fair in this MOTEL sorry HOTEL.
It's a good hotel for a one or two nights stay.
The ac was loud, room a little bit old
Quiet room (even right next to lift!) Comfortable bed Great shower Really nice bar / restaurant area Shuttle quick & efficient
Received great service. The staff found out that it was our honeymoon and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolate-covered strawberries!
Price of food was way too expensive, gym needs upgrade, more weight machines, internet access too much security cant work with programs, etc
