When we first got there, we had to wait while the girl at the front desk watched a man trying to figure out how to put on a tie and cuff links, as we stood with our hands full of bags. Then she said "sorry, I have never seen anyone put on cuff links before." The I asked her about when the reservation was made, I had mentioned we were there for a funeral and asked how close we were to the funeral home. I was never told there was a discount (as others we traveled with had informed me of) and when I mentioned it, the girl rudely barked at me & said "not if you already paid." I let that go, because we were mourning the loss of a very close friend. I proceeded to my room where I was going to freshen up after an 8 hour drive and called the front desk and politely asked if we could get some more shampoo & conditioner and she (again) rudely said "yup, you will have to come down & get it!" I let that go, got dressed and ran down to desk. My second and largely upsetting & disappointing experience was the next morning when all of the kids that were down having breakfast (preparing for their friend's funeral) were all sitting around, talking, eating...myself included....the woman at the desk yelled across the room and said "you people in rooms 220 & 222 cost the hotel $300 lastnight!! Someone quietly said "excuse me?" She rudely repeated "You cost the hotel $300 lastnight because a guest checked out 3 days early because of the noise!" I said to the kids "did anyone knock on your door and ask you to keep it down?" And they told me No!! I then asked the woman behind the desk why were they not asked to keep it down? Did anyone ask them to? She replied "no." I then explained I was on the 3rd floor and proceeded to walk up to the desk so I could ask her how by simply looking at them (which there were several people in different rooms on 2nd & 3rd floor) how she could assume they were in rooms 220/222? She said she could not!!! The cleanliness, set-up, location to funeral home.

Hot breakfast included in the room price. Wi-Fi was not working hence i could not catch up on emails.
