Easy access to sights and owner was very helpful directing us to other area attractions
Coffee pot in room but no coffee, cream or sugar. Very thin privacy curtains on balcony and wonderful view of dirt piles around the non functional pool, apparently soon to be filled in.
Staff was friendly even gave us a map of the area. Good food near by.
Very clean and very prompt staff for anything we needed
lack of WiFi and signals for our cell phones
Quiet out of the way of traffic, relaxing spacious get a way. Beds were squeaky but clean. I got a good 2 nights sleep. I would stay here again if in the area.
Needs updating of entire motel: Balcony needs security for each room, not one long row. Upadte the floors, bathrooms, musty smell of carpet, everything is a bit worn out, but clean. This motel is too far from Burlington. We didn't realize 'till we drove there late a night on that long winding very dark Rt. 104 to Rt.15.
Reasonable price for the season. Ideal location. Towels were in decent shape. Owner was helpful. Bed was comfortable.
Lingering smell of cigarette smoke in hall.
This is a great place to stay and will be back for sure! Rich is a great guy and easy to work with! The only downside to our stay was the smell of cigarette smoke... Other than that it was great!
Pricing was a major factor is choosing this location. Other facilities were much higher in pricing.
The whole place needs to be renovated! There was a moldy smell everywhere you went. It is old and really needs a upgrade!
Rich was very nice and accomodating.
No cell service (signal) in the area.
Very quiet; no problem sleeping.
Peeled back the comforter to find a dead moth as large as my hand. Peeled back the sheets to find a live moth. One of the towels in the bathroom had a blood stain. No instructions present in the room stating that the area code was needed to dial a local phone #.
Everything was fine. The staff, the a commendations.
They advertise a pool but it looked like it hadn't been in operation for many years. They should take down that it has a pool. :(
The operator was very friendly and greeted us to warmly. The room itself was very large beds are comfortable and The shower worked well. Overall the room was very comfortable and the stay was nice. It was close to town and there were good restaurants nearby
Getting into the place is very difficult in that the entrance is kind of convoluted. That was madenegotiate around the various items for sale and the person selling the items was smoking. Made for an awkward entrance every time. The lobby area is cluttered and the stairs and hallways leading to the rooms were very old and tired.... All of that carpet needs vacuuming. TV in the room was small but worked well. Wi-Fi work and overall our stay was ok. It was fine for our purpose.
Not much. Wasn't too comfortable. If I was younger and in college partying it would be fine. It reminded me of the national lampoon movie with the green pool.
The room stunk of cigarette smoke when we asked specifically for non-smoking. Then they accused us of smoking and wanted to charge us extra. I had to wash everything when I got home due to the smoke smell.
Beds were very comfortable. It was close to restaurants and the event we were there for.
It didn't seem like the smoking/non-smoking rooms were very far away from each other, because as you stepped outside the room, you could smell the cigarette smoke in the hallway. Also, no comfortable chair to sit it. It was either the beds or a couple of hard, small wooden chairs.
Everything was fine, staff inclided. To be repeated without hesitation.
Was centrally located to the areas we planned to visit while in Vermont. We did not spend daylight hours there as we did several day trips.
I liked the proximity to Stowe, Vermont.
The pictures of the motel on line made the rooms seem to be in better shape than they were. There was dirt, dust in the corners of the room, doors that did't lock, tv's with no cable, see through front curtains and spider webs with spiders in the shower stall.
Easy to find. Good location. Economical
Lumpy pillows smelled a bit "stale" cracks in tub
The owner was friendly, welcoming and efficient. I also received my receipt and a little brochure in the mail with info about the hotel which I liked.
The room was dirty, the glass slider did not lock and the bathroom exhaust fan did not work well.
