Non smoking room smell smoky, night staff extremely loud at 2am, morning staff extremely loud at 6am, breakfast was just croissants and muffins with no place to eat, the worst coffee ever, our car was scratched in the parking, window looking at the traffic entering the holland tunnel (loud), shower temperature was not stable, they did not bring in more toilet paper when cleaning, not enough shampoo and body wash for 2 people and 3 nights (they did not replenish), staff is unfriendly

The breakfast options were great!

Great location for us, 10 minute walk to Newport station to get path train directly to nyc. The staff were excellent; Quentin - thank you and you staff for everything! Tea and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Continental breakfast available in the lobby, we took our breakfast back to the room because the loony area was a little small and crowded in the morning. No problem though!

The staff was very helpful. They were very accommodating to our groups needs. The beds were comfy. The breakfast was delicious and nutritious. The hotel was close to the path train.

I recommended this small-comfortable hotel. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was so clean and neat. It was just for the price I payed.

Very friendly and helpful staff (Yarina was great!). Although an old hotel, very clean. Great location, close to PATH that takes you to Manhattan. FREE PARKING, even after we checked out, we could leave our car there till late afternoon.

The shower could suddenly turn cold.

The manager accused us of smoking while we were in the lobby. Quite embarrassing, and we did not leave happy. In addition, the facility could use a major update. Feels like the past.

Staff was very helpful with directions and suggestions for travel & restaurants.

We had issues with keeping the room at a comfortable temperature. Seemed to stay on the warm side.

Used condom wrapper was found under one of the beds! Who knows how long it was there for. No tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Much cheaper than staying in Manhattan but easy yo get there on the train. Great buffet brekkie. Easy train ride to the airport. Helpful staff.walking distance to Hoboken where there are numerous eateries, pubs etc. Off licence, supermarket, train and light rail all a few minutes walk. Good Wifi. No complaints whatsoever.

Really comfortable, with friendly stuff, it has everything you need (free WiFi as well). Among other good things I enjoyed the opportunity to take breakfast in the room with you (because they actually don't have a special room for it: buffet is right next to the reception desk). I won't say it is easy to get to the nearest railway station: 15 min walk & we were told (more than once) that the neighborhood there wasn't safe (though we didn't have any troubles). комфортные кровати, в номере все есть, включая бесплатные сейф и вай-фай. девушка на ресепшн говорит по-русски. завтрак континентальный, под него не отведена отдельная комната - все располагается практически на ресепшн, потому мы с забирали еду в номер, что добавило отелю плюсов.

не хватало только свободного доступа к питьевой воде: автомат "доллар-за- бутылку" был периодически сломан, приходилось "рыскать" в поисках воды по ближайшим заправкам.

A bit of traffic noise in the front rooms. But that's ok it is in the city.

Good location for public transport - easy access to PATH train to Times Square and World Trade Center. Fab location for shopping at the Newport Mall. Burger King next door Free coffee all day, Wifi throughout hotle and computer and printer available for printing those boarding cards and reservation tickets.

Wouldn't be good if you had a car and were going into Manhatten as only access was through the Holland Tunnel and that was a nightmare. We arrived Friday night at 17:00 and took 1 1/2 hours in taxi from JFK before we gave up and took PATH train as Holland Tunnel was horrendous. There had obviously been some smokers in the hotel as could smell the stale smoke but only the bathroom.

Def. worth the money. The breakfast in the morning along with the 24/7 coffee and hot chocolate adds a beautiful touch to this diamond in the ruff.

They give you a 2-3 mintue grace period before they're calling or knocking telling you to " get out " with no grace period.

It felt Cozy, the area around the hotel was nice, there was a burger king and dunkin donuts beside it... Also the staff was nice...

Takes along time to reach manhattan and no shuttles from the airport so you have to either pay a taxi or take ages till you reach the hotel via subway and path train!
