Shower didn't work and paint was falling off the bathroom walls.
Shuttle took an hour to arrive at Federal Center
Too expensive. No small breakfast for early travelers.
i liked the free WiFi. the room was spacious and clean. the bed was comfortable. i barely knew when i slept away.
i didnt like the early morning noise of the school buses starting. there should be a cafeteria in the hotel.
Nice friendly staff. Nice location
$2.00 to print boarding pass. Facility in poor repair. Shuttle which should take 4-6 minutes from motel to pick up took 35 minutes. Stay only if you are a single male and don't care about anything else but a bed.
Free shuttle at federal circle
To go to manhatten you need to take the bus and the subway. Takes 1 1/2h. The surroundings do not seem very safe.
the restaurant recommended for delivery by the hotel is not good and they try to rip you off if u pay by card so never pay by card.its the one where u see their menu inside yr room
On the website it says $68 or $70 per night for a room, but when it comes to paying you suddenly find out that it comes to $95. I think this is unfair. Also this price is too high for such service. We left our room early in the morning, no breakfast was provided (for self service) as it happens in many other hotels we have visited.
I like the fact that everything that I needed was provided.
The shuttle service the decor of the room
location, near jfk airport
wifi was down for most of the week
Receptionist Dorothy was very helpful and friendly.
Overall maintenance of building very run down. Leaky ceilings were not taken seriously. Band of 300+ buses started running from 3:30 am, non stop till 7am. Noisy and unable to sleep. Breakfast room like an office conference room and tables were filthy. No effort was made to wipe them down.
After several frustrating attempts at communication with the staff, I was left waiting for a shuttle (in the freezing cold) for more than 3 hours. Out of sheer desperation, I did manage to secure a room at another local hotel, who managed to get a shuttle there in less than 10 minutes. My credit card was charged as a no-show guest, and I have not been refunded. Legal action seems appropriate.
It was close to JFK. That's the best thing I can say about it.
WiFi didn't work. Tv remote didn't work. Price changed from booking to check-out
The free breakfast
The owner's relative was in ht elobby with no shoes on. They were talking so loudly on the phone that I got no sleep. I could hear them from the reception area into my room. When I called to complain, they still continued to talk very loudly from 2:00 am to 4:00 am. They also said that we could park our car their in their lot at one price and wound up driving several blocks to park at another location for a hird more than what they had quoted.
Not cosy, though clean. Had to call for transfer twice.
The location (1.6 miles from JFK International Air Port) and price were perfect for a short in transit stay in NY!
Needs more frequency of shuttle bus to JFK Int Air Port
the hotel and room were clean, the bed comfortable.
terrible shuttle service from JFK airport. I waited for more than one hour on a freezing cold January night. I called the hotel three times, and each time they said the shuttle would be there in "ten to fifteen minutes". I arrived at the hotel stiff as a stockfish. No apologies, of course: "How would you like to pay, ma'am?". Also, the walls between the rooms are paper-thin, but this is a rather common trait that almost does not need to be mentioned. Almost.
didn't like one thing about the hotel.
Horrible hotel . I think they should shut it down . It smelled really bad . The staff was rude and very bad .
NIGHT RATE WAS FAIR
PLACE WAS DIRTY
The hotel supposed to provide free shuttle to the airport but instead the hotel's driver demand US40 to send us to the airport.
Close to the airport
We liked the fact that although it was basic we got what we paid for. The location was easy to access Manhattan & airport.
Communication between staff. Our suitcases were delayed. We told reception they would be arriving & we went out forthe day. Upon returning the reception staff had changed & when I asked if our cases had arrived she told me she had sent them back because no one had told her!!! All she said was it wasnt her fault...no apology or I'll try to rectify the problem. I ended up making several phone calls to flight & courier companies to locate the luggage trying to get it sent back to us.
