Located next to freeway, airport shuttle was convenient. Bed was comfortable and employees were helpful.
Room very noisy railroad side of hotel, must be single pane windows and seemed to be drafty. Had non smoking room but you could not escape the smoke in the room, hallways, check in desk. That's the reason we never ate at the hotel.
We stayed in 2 rooms a week apart and both rooms had problems with the tub draining. It is very unpleasant to be standing in 4-6 inches of water when showering. Once the water was turned off it eventually drained out. The freeway/traffic noise makes it difficult to get a good nights sleep.
Pool and hot tub.
Weak drinks and tight slots.
Bed sloped to one side. Bathroom fire sprinkler had been altered. Old out dated decor with old couch and chair that where dirty. Rail yard next door.
I booked a room for my friend who just got out of the hospital. When they went to check in they were denied access because the employee said they needed my I.d. even though I instructed them that it was them and not me staying in the room. Also, they said there was insufficient funds on my debit card. I had 1500 dollars in my account and was still charged for the room on the card that was supposedly "insufficient". I have met Mr. Asquaga personally. It is a shame that your turning his once great resort into a joke. I will never stay or recommend your business or booking.com to anyone ever again.
I loved the casino, all the casino workers, the promotions for playing, as free slot play as you play is the first Player's Club that I have joined that has had points for free slot play as soon as you are finished playing. Had $220.00 to play in slot play after only playing a couple of hours. The food was good and was very clean, classy.
The couple of things that bothered me was when checking in the person at the check-in desk appeared to be put out by my questions of room rates and although I wanted to stay 3 nights and 4 days I was only able to book for one night because I was told that the computers were down (every morning for an hour) and for me to come back some time the next day and he could give me the availability of the rooms and the rates then. Also, paid $99.99 for one night for the same room I usually pay $34.99 for due to a convention. Also the air conditioning in the room did not work and no one ever came up to fix or inquire about it. Was very very warm.
Nothing to brag about
Woken after midnight by all night loud noise of railcar container unloading and transit operation 20 stories below our room. No sleep.
Staff quickly corrected their mistake of putting me in the older section of the hotel. Waaaaayyy better room!
The old section of the hotel is like a bad Brady's themed attempt at nice. Smelled badly of smoke in the room. The new Gilley's is just weird. You can't see the girls dancing from the entry since its a sunken dance floor. You would think they would try and bring people in by showing them off.
Cleanliness of room. Choices of places to eat in the hotel. Buffet was excellent. A different choice of meals every night. Great value for the variety of the food.
The bathroom had a mildew smell. It wasn't until my last night that I realized it was the shower curtain.
The size of the room, the size of the bathroom. Quick elevators.
Time to update the west wing. I understand I am paying a wonderful daily rate and I am not here to stay in the room during the whole of my stay, but it is time to update a little and get rid of the wallpaper and borders.
The room was nice at a great price. Good dining choices
A bit too smokey for us.
I like everithink in the hotel and casino i wish visit another time
Pool/spa very nice.
Restrooms need to be cleaned properly. Hair in drains tub dirty. Floors dirty.
That they allow pets. What about people that are allergic to pet dander? Not only that but pet hair on chairs and beds.
Size of the room and price.
Very old TV in the room with poor picture quality. The decor is very out-dated, so many patterns it makes you dizzy.
Hospitality, price and 'stuff' to do!
If ya don't know how to get back on the freeway, it's a bit discouraging, but Pyramid Road is pretty easy.
The location and staff were very nice
I was charger $100.00 deposit above my room rate and was told it would be refunded with in seven business days, I also did not have my room rate printed on my check in forms.
Rooms were very nice.
That I had to move to a different room because my reservation was booked wrong.
View ..... Nice for me J.A. gets a 10.
The hot tub switch needed to be replaced . On off on off .....
liked it was clean and comphy
had a terrible meal at Gilleys. Got done and a fire alarm was going off, couldn't use elevator. Security told me I could go up stairs. stairs only go up 5 floors, I was on sixth. After I walked all the way up to find I couldn't get to my room I was greeted ny another security guard that told me I had to walk all the way back down the stairs and wait in the lobby until the fire problem was fixed, which took several hours. I had worked all day in Sac. that day and was tired and hungry. Couldn't even eat the meal cause it was cold and instead of having a good rest I had to walk 10 flights of stairs only to wait in the lobby for several hours
bedding is clean and comfortable
noise. Room insulation is bad and I can hear clearly bathroom water running and toilet water rushing down.
Need new tv's in rooms.
Confort, price, nice bed, nice bathroom, Ice Machine on the hallway, Free Wi-Fi.
noise of highway
