Pool is very clean and just as good as the pictures show. Water slide is super fun. Room and bathroom are clean and there is filtered water in bathroom for drinking. Front desk was friendly and helpful in planning our stay.
Hearth and Kettle restaurant dinner was poor quality for the price, didn't come as ordered, and poor service.
Excellent location to explore Plymouth without a car. Mayflower II is 7 minutes walk away and The Plimoth Grist Mill is just around the corner. Main street with all the shops and restaurants is just around the corner as well. My 5 and 6 year old boys loved the pool with a slide. The hotel's front desk sells discounted tickets to local tourist attractions. The restaurant staff was very accommodating and pleasant, food was good. The hotel's bar was very appealing with music played Saturday night.
My bed was a bit too soft.
The oil was what my 2 grandsons loved!!! Thank you for allowing them to have a great time!!!
I can't think of anything that I disliked about the hotel!!
The location. We reserved a suite, which was comfortable. I did expect it to be more luxurious given the price.
Bed was comfy room was big spa was good
Expensive, poor wifi, bathroom was terrible. Shower was poor, gym was terrible.
Indications approximative Service restaurant pas terrible
helpful staff, clean rooms, on site restaurant and bar, walking distance to many attractions and parking
The king poster bed room was excellent. The restaurant was a very good value for what we received. Excellent friendly staff
there was an old musty odor in the regular room the first night we stayed there.
Restaurant and bar area and friendliness of staff and wait service.
Room very dated, definitely not a good value. Room rate higher than all other hotels in area. Stair carpeting dirty.
Well run hotel with an excellent location
Loved the antiquity of the whole hotel and the more modern parts of the hotel were lovely, specifically the restaurant with the cool décor. The staff was very nice and they were always willing to help if they could. Loved the 4 poster bed with the step stool for little people. :)
preferred the hearth and kettle at the cape codder the bar was part of the restaurant at john carver the restaurant was too family oriented for us and the food at the other restaurant was too eclectic the food was better at the cape codder hearth and kettle also
beds were comfortable. allowed us an early check-in and late check-out.
there was zero parking availability. which caused much stress. was told by receptionist that if i couldn't find parking i could go to the paid lot next door. ohh, i just spent over $250 for ONE night at a sub-par hotel and you want me to go pay to park next door? not going to happen. food/waitress at the restaurant was more than sub-par. large/long hair in my water. took her 10 minutes to come back to us so i could request a new glass. beds are old and when trying to be passionate with my significant other banged against the wall and the person in the room next door took it upon themselves to bang on our walls. over all SO not worth the money.
Beautiful pool and pool area. Good for both children and adults. Small water slide very popular with both children and adults. Room with king size bed was very comfortable. Hearth and Kettle Restaurant onsite has excellent breakfast. Within walking distance, through beautiful gardens, to Plymouth attractions.
Would prefer small table and chairs in room instead of big desk.
I think for $230.00 per night, they should have refrigerators in rooms and include breakfast with stay like all the other hotels do these days.
It was in walking distance to everything we wanted to do.
I expected much more for the price per nite.
Walking distance to everything
clean, comfortable and reasonable prices.
not at all.
Great location - close walking distance to the main street (stores/restaurants) and the Plimoth Grist Mill. Good pool, spa and sauna - enjoyable.
Location perfect, good breakfast in neighbour restaurant. Swimming pool + water slide!!!
Staff on reception not very interested in guests.
Swimming pool and water slide: best indoor pool we have experienced at a hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Useful location for exploring Plymouth. Good car park. Decent sized, comfortable room.
Breakfast not included, but we would recommend nearby Persy's on the main street.
Good sized rooms Nice sized pool Bar had cool decor and local beer Walking distance to down town Plymouth Close to food and shopping
Desk staff rarely looked up from their work to acknowledge guest walking by. Beds were almost overly soft. The pillow top was very cushy. Decor is very colonial A bit over priced Calling it a spa is a stretch No wall mounted thermostat for AC so it ran all the time or not at all
swimming pool and spa
The staff let us check out at noon instead of 11am, which was good since we had to go for breakfast since they never picked up the room service orders (see "what didn't you like"). The location is very good. The rooms were large.
For $179/night per room it is long past time for them to invest in new bedding (and beds). Some decent towels would help, and perhaps some better soap and shampoo. And they never picked up the room service tags from the doors, so of course that never arrived. The place felt like it needed a make-over.
close to May Flower II
lack of power outlets at the bed table
