John Hancock Hotel & Conference Center

The location is great. Close to Amtrak, Copley, Auditorium. Nice waliing in the neighborhood. Very good staff. Doesn't seem like a big chain hotel.

Carpets in the room needed cleaning. Otherwise was very nice.

The price was relatively reasonable and the room, while somewhat small, was acceptable. I also enjoyed the central location and proximity to T stations.

The continental breakfast was acceptable, but not outstanding. After a day or two, I had difficulties getting my room key to be accepted by the door, but the front desk fixed it relatively quickly.

The location was great (although difficult to find), The price was good for the location.

I would'nt really class this as a business hotel, the bathrooms were poor and the breakfast was more on par with a hostel (plastic plates, cups and cutlery). Bedroom furniture and walls were damaged. I was a solo traveller and I found that it did feel a little unsafe, I would probably book a chain hotel next time in order to ensure quality.

Very good position to visiting the city. The room was not very big but the comfort was adequate.

Unfortunately two of the three lights in the room were not working. When we asked the staff to change the bulbs or to do something we obtained only a polite smile. Then we spent two days almost in the dark.

rooms did not match pics on the internet. no services. i would rate the room below that of a motel 6 or motel 8. televisions are antiquated. no hbo or vod services. the hotel was not even identified on the exterior of the building. it was the most difficult place to find and that includes hotels i've had to find in cannes and hong kong.

I like very much excellent location of this hotel.

Good location in a charming and safe area. Our Queen Room was generous in size and clean. Breakfast was basic, but did the job!

The hotel is a little tired and the room good do with a paint.

The stategic position in the town, close to the Back Bay Station. Overall comment is extremely positive.

Very customer friendly reception, good room and good location. Complimentary breakfast was more than expected.

I liked its location - I was in town for research at the mfa and to give a book talk in Chinatown, and both were well within walking distance. I also liked the hotel's proximity to good restaurants and Back Bay Station and Boston Common and many other things.

I wished there was a wireless signal in my room.
