worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Extremely dirty and old
Staff friendly and helpful Great location Fair price Clean Comfortable Quiet
Breakfast was very poor Hotel is in desperate need of refurbishing WIFI limited
hard pillows and very old bathrooms! maybe a remodel would be a good idea.
GOOD VALUE ,GOOD LOCATION FOR SITESEEING AND GOOD BREAKFAST
THE HOTEL IS A LITTLE DATED BUT HEY YOU ONLY REARLY SLEEP THERE
What I like the most was the location and the staff. The location could not be better and the staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant.
What I didn't like it still looks of the hotel because it looks very tired and in dire need of updating in just about every aspect. The lobby lights are very dim and better lighting would be nicer to make the place a little bit more cheery. The carpet in the room that I had was very old and dirty looking even if it wasn't. I did not want to walk on it barefoot or with my socks. The bathroom was very small with a very old sink and fixtures even though everything worked fine. I know Boston is expensive, but the way that this hotel is, it should've cost between 125 and 150, and not 229 which was an offer meaning that normally a cost even more. There are better hotels for 229 when they are on sale. I would recommend changing the carpet and replacing chipped furniture and making the lobby brighter.
Location, staff helpful and nice, price high but it is Boston Breakfast, coffee in room
Not much, other than the great location. Our room had most of the amenities one would expect in a good hotel, but they didn't pull together for a pleasant stay.
The hotel is very difficult to find. Terrible signage. From the small entrance it's five or so steps up into the lobby. The lobby is poorly lit and uninviting. Our room had just about enough room to swing a cat, a Manx cat. Breakfast was boring, with little selection. At night, a security guard blocked the lobby entry -- to keep out undesirables, I guess. We would not go back.
The location is excellent.
The breakfast if very poor, very little choice. The carpets are stained. The bath was damaged, no stoppers in the bath & sink. The decor in hallways and rooms are dated.
location, cleanliness, front desk staff
Quiet, comfortable bed Great location to MTA, Amtrack, Bus to airport Complimentary breakfast
Stained carpets and furniture throughout Broken tiles, torn shower curtains in bathroom Dated TV, no wi-fi in room
The location was great! It was clean and quiet. Breakfast was just enough and filling. Staff was approachable. I was able to sleep soundly. Receiving cable and internet was great!
A reasonable hotel if your not expecting much.you can hear noise from other rooms quite easily , and bathrooms are small. But its situated close to shops and bars and resturants.
The location was great - very central.
The hotel was very run down. Didn't have the impression it was very clean. I suppose this has to be expected given the price of the hotel compared to other hotels in Boston.
Terri at the front desk was friendly and competent.
Room was poorly maintained: Peeling Paint. Carpets looked dirty. Water damage in Bathroom. Bed covers looked old. No wifi. Other than coffee, the breakfast provided had nothing for me to eat. I am a no carb Diabetic.
The place had lovely character and while the rooms weren't modern, they were clean and had a certain charm. Nice quiet location whilst being in the centre of the city. Rooms ideal size - not too small. Great staff - especially Teri who was very helpful and lovely.
Very good location
Poor breakfast Old bathroom Old tv set
Location is wonderful, view from the room was right to Prudential building.
Bathroom was not clean. There were here all over the tub and toilet. Soap dish still had left overs from previous visitors. There were here on a linen too.
The internet does not really work in the rooms.
Free wifi. Good location (in the vicinity of the Copley T-station). A handy business center.
The room would benefit from a renovation. And old bathroom, with an old bathtub with a partially clogged drain and an old shower curtain. Unimpressive breakfast facilities with a basic breakfast served until 9:30 (according to the hotel guide).
I liked leaving. The location was great.
Bed was hard. Bathroom hasn't been touched since about 1910. Entrance is sketchy looking. Rooms are tiny and dirty. Overall worst hotel I've been to in my entire life
When I went to pay they add "taxes" from the room and a business center I did not even use. And the final price was almost like paying an extra night from what i had budgeting. This taxes were never expressed in the Booking offer. I feel robbed. Plus is terrible the WIFI
a very classic hotel in a old building but the environment was not bad. Location and pice are fair comparing to similar hotels. Staffs were very kind and helpful.
A little hard to find. Very small sign - doesn't look like a hotel.
Starting to get quite dated and a bit run down. Stained rugs, no room wifi, older TV, bathroom needs updating with more counter space and newer fixtures, lobby pretty sparse and very dated
